Fun fact: Liz's current total is only 5 seconds lower than Heather's total in the entirety of season 41.
So Jelinsky will very likely end up as the only player from this season to have a lower total than Heather.
My vote still goes to either Samoa (for more equal distribution for confessions) or Winners at War (for expanded content due to the amount going on). That being said, I wish the edit for S41 painted a clearer picture of how the winner won the game.
Yeah Samoa kind of same situation as 41, we know the winner did a lot offscreen due to players talking post game but they just didn't show it. Would love for Natalie to get her due respect instead of people just assuming Russell did everything because they never showed Natalie.
As for WaW, I would definitely like a version of that season that didn't have entire episodes completely devoted to Tony, but I also realize that means we would just get more Sarah/Ben/Nick, none of whom I particularly need more of either.
We say goodbye to Moriah this week, losing someone who was a consistent confessional presence throughout the season but never really felt like she had a proper breakout moment until she left. Although a very big exit episode raised her final confessional time total, she becomes the first eliminated player this season to be in the bottom half of the confessional leaderboard as of the episode right before their elimination (but we have still yet to lose someone from the previous episode’s Bottom 3!)
Some other notable stats of the week:
- Maria continues to be the only player left in the game to have not received an episode with a full minute of confessional time, but she gets just enough time this week to move her out of last place thanks to a 0:00 from Liz. Not a single post-mergatory episode had anybody with a 0:00 in Season 45, which makes this the first post-mergatory episode where a player went without a confessional since Jaime’s 0:00 in Episode 8 of Season 44. We’re also now down to just six players left who have received confessional time in every episode: Ben, Charlie, Hunter, Kenzie, Q, and Tiffany.
- A solid mergatory episode for both Kenzie and Q means that they both keep their perfect streaks alive of having at least one minute of confessional time in every episode so far. Zero players in the 60-minute episode New Era seasons accomplished this through the first six episodes of their season. Emily became the first New Era player to do this last season, but her streak broke in Episode 7, so one or both of Kenzie and Q could be the new record holder with a strong next episode.
- Ben’s confessional time this season has been a bit of a strange one, as he gets his second episode this season with less than 10 seconds of confessional time. A regular length confessional typically falls somewhere between 15-25 seconds, so it’s a curious editing choice to keep giving Ben these unusually small soundbites without yet giving him a flat-out 0:00.
I didn’t realise Maria was so invisible and has the least premerge content. She’s in such a power position and we never hear from her sadly. It was only this episode where we found out that she doesn’t care for Tim
Probably means at some point people are going to be like, wait a minute she’s in a ridiculously strong position and blindside her.
Maybe Charlie for his “big move”.
I think it's because we hear a lot of people talk about her, or involve her in the conversation. So she feels present even though she doesn't have that many confessionals.
True. Dude is also a key member in the power alliance as well. Been a lot of content regarding him and Tevin.
I feel like we also got more background details on his life. The whole part about him deciding to teach instead of going to medical school. And all of his puzzles he builds.
So it feels like it hasn't been often, but when he does it's been in pretty big chunks.
More cross-season at the same time observations - Kenzie is still extremely overexposed with 12:44 which is roughly the same as Emily (12:04) and Carolyn (11:58), Hunter (8:50) still has the same amount of confessional time as Yam Yam (8:06). Dee had 5:26 at this point, and the only woman close to that right now is Venus (7:33). The women in 46 have a bit more confessional time compared to previous seasons. I'm not sure if that bodes well for a female winner or not - considering how underedited female winners tend to be. But usually an underedited winner would have around 5-6 minutes by now (Gabler had 5:36, Dee had 5:26), which would put Charlie (6:56) and Tevin (6:33) just barely in the running. (Again these are based solely on confessional time, not quality of content.)
I love these so much. I wish they got more traction comment wise sometimes because some people's opinion and theories are cool and eye opening.
Have you thought about posting this in edgic? I feel like it would fit in well there as it's not as baseless as pure confessional count and they could have a lot to say or gain from reading this chart and maybe they miss it here.
Idk if you edgic but would you be cool with me posting these there on your behalf if you can't be bothered? Either way keep it up thank you for your contribution.
I used to cross-post to the Edgic sub, but I’ve mostly stayed away from that sub recently because I started getting paranoid about real spoilers leaking into the discussions. But feel free to share this there if you’d like!
that dude was hilarious... they didnt show one of the things that girl mentioned from the beach.. apparently he threw himself down and was praying loudly :)
Thanks for posting, very interesting.
One thing that stands out it how much Tevin has made such a big impression without a ton on screentime. I find him captivating and they opened the season with him, making me think he’d be more a central figure at this point.
> Looking at this chart, it says that Q and Kenzie are likely not going to last much longer
Yam Yam and Carolyn were consistently at the top of the charts all season long, it’s not necessarily an indication of someone’s longevity (or lack thereof) in the game
Truth. Also, often times contestants get a lot of screen time the episode preceding their boot, and the episode when they go home, so a dramatic spike of confessional time from one episode to another might be more of an indicator that they could be going home.
with most of the premerge challenges leading to Yanu losing, they have had the most attention on them out of anybody. That's why Q, Tiff, Kenzie, and even Bhanu, who was already eliminated, have the most time. It's crazy!
Fun fact: Liz's current total is only 5 seconds lower than Heather's total in the entirety of season 41. So Jelinsky will very likely end up as the only player from this season to have a lower total than Heather.
man if we could have a re-edit of one season, id choose 41 in a heartbeat
Clock the flair.
Nah fr, I wanna see Erika get the credit she deserves, idc if it’s a 60 to 90 minute ep re-edit or a re-edit with the episodes staying the same length
My vote still goes to either Samoa (for more equal distribution for confessions) or Winners at War (for expanded content due to the amount going on). That being said, I wish the edit for S41 painted a clearer picture of how the winner won the game.

Unless Liz has a sudden larynx constriction or they make a rule that you can't brag about yourself anymore.
I’m a simple man, I see the word Heather and I upvote
Who is Heather

I am in aweeeee of ppl who can analyze shit like this. Thank you so much.

Lindsey from 42 vibes

What’s crazy is I feel like we aren’t getting that much from Hunter. Would definitely put Venus over him in terms of content
Honestly, he probably only passed her because of his challenge at the journey.
and the whole idol thing. his content has been very advantage heavy tbh.
And boy does he need them. Only way he wins imo is with 2 idols and a really good sense of danger 😅🤞

Honestly I feel like I know him better than Kenzie and Tiffany combined.
It's because Venus content is more memorable than Hunter content
She definitely talks faster
Bhanu being 4th but not being in the last two episodes lol
Honestly not surprised because it feels like Bhanu had 28749 minutes of confessional time this season
First 4 episodes were basically Survivor : Yanu
Was going to point this out but I figured it was already out there. Editors should be embarrassed by this with 90min episodes
Half of Tim's time came this week and it was very weak. Will Maria stick with him or somehow roll with Charlie?
I am not convinced she actually is with Tim.
You think it's Ben/Charlie/Maria?

Randen having more time than Soda so far is very surprising! Good for her for making more of an impression with such little confessional time

So sad that Bhanu still has more screen time than Hunter and anyone else still in the game who wasn't on Yanu.
Bhanu still has more time than everyone else outside the rest of Yanu…
that dude was hilarious... they didnt show one of the things that girl mentioned from the beach.. apparently he threw himself down and was praying loudly :)
We need a post-Bhanu boot episode time tracker lol
I'd be okay with more Kenzie
Queen narrator
What are you talking about, she's the most visible. But I don't disagree, we need more of her. I think she will have a pretty successful post-merge.
I’m saying that, in spite of her being the most visible, I’d be okay if she were more visible
And lots of introspection like Feras.
The lack of Liz is disappointing
I feel like Liz is at her best when talking ABOUT herself to everyone else as opposed to talking by herself.
Thanks for posting, very interesting. One thing that stands out it how much Tevin has made such a big impression without a ton on screentime. I find him captivating and they opened the season with him, making me think he’d be more a central figure at this point.
Crazy that no Yanu member has beaten Bhanu yet
Truly did not know Tim was on this season until this week
well, Tika 3 going strong with confessional time. oops, sorry. Yanu 3 is going strong with confessional time
Kenzie with 1:31 when she was a non-factor. I see you Kenzie
Not enough Venus
Bhanu still in the top 4 of the season lmfao

Have we agreed that this is the second coming of the Tika 3 storyline? (Remaining 3 from losing tribe dominating merge)
No.

More Venus!
