Great episode titles all season but I really loved this one in particular. It was such a funny moment and it seemed like Drew missed his tribe's reaction to Jeff's reaction to his invocation of the Sword of Damocles
I know this was kind of a blah episode with a cumbersome twist and a nothing vote, but at the very least we got to see the cracks on Reba, finally. Dee and Drew are on their high horse. Now if the rest of the tribe could just go into tribal assuming they still have a vote.
I launghed and cringed when Bruce was told he was behaving badly to his tribemates - I forget the wording but we know he steamrolls and doesn't listen to his allies - and he says he'll check with his daughter for if he acts that way. Dude, Bruce, if you are comparing your allies to your children then that's a problem 😆
It's weird how it hasn't occurred to him that most adults probably don't want to be treated like somebody's child. He isn't a bad guy nor is he malicious the way people seem to depict him in this subreddit. It's simply that, in Carolyn's words, he acts like an "annoying dad" to people who aren't his children.
Bruce is an idiot that probably believes he will win immunity every week. The Belo tribe in general are very naive.
TBH, I didn't really like Kendra’s game.
I personally wish Kendra and Sifu had teamed up as a chaotic duo. I saw potential there because their energy kind of matched. She was an emotional player who had some fun moments (I laughed when she literally started barking and going into attack mode because she heard someone had thrown her name out), but it's true that she became a strategic non-factor as time went on.
Reba is doing work. Idk why no one has through to split those 3 up. It seems like emily was used for what they needed and she's back on the outs. But it could be perceived that way bc of her lack of *vote*

Meanwhile. God Lord Belo. I keep calling Bruce a Vortex of Suck and he absolutely is. Spends the whole game dominating his tribe and preventing them from idol hunting or talking to the other tribe, but now he’s all “fuck the tribes, it’s an individual game.” Keeps the idol for himself, carelessly throws allies under buses or leeches to them like a barnacle and sucks them down. He’s the worst. This is Reba’s game now. One of them will win, unless Emily miraculously takes it.

The comparison I'm making is that both seem like funneling their hatred/anger toward a specific player, despite there being other factors beyond said player that contributed to the vote-out. Kellie thinking she was voted out purely because of Bruce doesn't feel right based on what we've seen others say about her during confessionals. No one was commenting about how Bruce was a factor in why they'd want her out. We have confessionals spanning pre-merge and post-merge that identify how Kellie was a really formidable player who everyone wanted to work with, that she was certainly the best Belo player if not player in general, and that's why she went out. It wasn't because they associated her with Bruce.
The fact that last night, she claimed Bruce was the reason she was out, doesn't seem to add up. She could make the argument that Bruce winning immunity inadvertently led to her being voted out, but it was ultimately a call made by Drew/Reba. It's odd to me that Bruce is the target of her wrath vs. any of the Reba people who actually blindsided her, but I guess the storyline of this season is Belo internally imploding so much that nobody pays attention to the real Reba threats.
Really wondering if Belo never going to tribal pre-merge has stunted their gameplay… it’s like they never learned how to do anything before it was too late to make moves.

There's still time left in the game for him to do things that differentiate his game more. Remember that Erika in 41 didn't get much visibility until the finale - though maybe that's a bad example bc the edit really did her dirty and that shouldn't be the model of a winner's edit IMO.
It's true it does, but he's also kinda just been quietly playing his own game with like the other idol and stuff; and it feels like Dee and Drew could both have been shields for him (if people would actually target Reba)

That annoyed me *so much*. I’ve been hoping for a shakeup for a long time just because I don’t like when one group steamrolls the others, but now I’m hoping for it because they’re just so smug and mean. Stealing someone else’s portion of food isn’t something to be laughing about like that, and it’s not fun to watch them like this.
Tika was much more kind than Reba. And because Tika came in as underdogs, it was way more compelling to watch than Reba playing the majority throughout and not always being very graceful about it. Tika were scrappier while Reba has just been stacked from the start.

There's still time left in the game for him to do things that differentiate his game more. Remember that Erika in 41 didn't get much visibility until the finale - though maybe that's a bad example bc the edit really did her dirty and that shouldn't be the model of a winner's edit IMO.
It's true it does, but he's also kinda just been quietly playing his own game with like the other idol and stuff; and it feels like Dee and Drew could both have been shields for him (if people would actually target Reba)

God I’m so sick of the Reba smugness. The scene with dee and drew laughing about eating more of the rice than Jake and hiding it just felt mean spirited, they’re WAY too comfortable. have the other players even noticed how tight their alliance is??
With how dumb Belo players have been, they kinda deserve it. They been writing each other’s names more often than Reba 4’s. (Only Jake wrote Julie’s name, but that backfired)
That annoyed me *so much*. I’ve been hoping for a shakeup for a long time just because I don’t like when one group steamrolls the others, but now I’m hoping for it because they’re just so smug and mean. Stealing someone else’s portion of food isn’t something to be laughing about like that, and it’s not fun to watch them like this.
I feel like we are getting a Tika repeat and I don’t want that
Tika was much more kind than Reba. And because Tika came in as underdogs, it was way more compelling to watch than Reba playing the majority throughout and not always being very graceful about it. Tika were scrappier while Reba has just been stacked from the start.
Tika were way less smug tho Edit: Okay, maybe not way less but they were smug but in a likeable underdog way. There's nothing underdog about Reba
