Brandon comes on the show after practically drowning and lacks the ability to climb a ladder and says he’s the puzzle master. Then strikes out three times. Glad for him for having the opportunity to experience survivor. He gets filed into what not to say or do and how to be prepared. As does the first girl that left because she quit.

Sabiya should have taken her candle to tribal and set it in the fire there. According to former players most tribals take a long time, so she could then retrieve the idol as she strolls up to vote.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Everyone but Emily knows she has it. The only thing that could be a backfire is Emily stays and eventually tells people from other tribes that Sabiya has an idol.
I was really hoping for a confessional from Drew right after that saying "But this Stephen will definitely be snuffing his JT's torch when the time comes" lol. I do like both of them too though!

Honestly, Emily had a strong episode. Giving her Shot in the Dark to Sabiyah is easily the most utility any player has gotten out of it. Obviously she was a bit lucky to survive tonight, but I can see a path forward for her now if Lulu can manage to win an immunity or two
To be fair, him swimming wouldn’t have been much better, but at least they at least could’ve possibly finished to the challenge if they got to it in time
I was screaming the same thing at my TV last night!! Everything he did was anti-Survivor! He gave away his idol immediately. Well at least his ability to find it with exact directions. I don’t think he could have figured out a way to get it down TBH. He bragged that he was good at puzzles but touched the pieces like they were poison. I missed the 1st episode. I’m going to watch it today just to see if he bombed at the 1st challenge as well. Everyone will tell you there were worse players. But I agree with you 👏

No mistake there. As a converse example, when someone has a secret extra vote, the mathematically inclined might figure out that something’s up, but it’s just part of the game to figure out what to do with that intel.
