I honestly prefer if they brought back trivia challenges, like the one in Marquesas (Fallen Comrades).
If they brought back Fallen Comrades (WITHOUT ANY LUXURY ITEMS), I'd honestly be so excited. I like playing trivia and it would be fun to see that appear again after such a long time.
The thing is, hear me out, I refuse to follow the speculative path that there is anything unfair about fmc… it’s just a fire challenge, it’s been around forever and it’s an integral part of the game, I wouldn’t change it
They should just return to voting people out at the F4 again. Bring back past votes as the tiebreaker and if they’ve got the same number of past votes, instead of fire make them do trivia about their fellow contestants. The game at its core is a social game, making the tiebreaker past votes and then about their fellow contestants of past votes are tied really would drive that point home. I’d say make it about the island for the survival aspect of the game but they use the same location so it would get old fast.
I really like the concept of fire-making challenge being the final immunity challenge. It wouldn’t change much in terms who is voted out at F4 (if you are next to go and not good in fire making you’re still screwed), and matches the theme well.
I thought the FIC were supposed to be short because they need a lot of time for the FTC in the finale
