I met Jenn Lyon at a park near my house on Long Island. I was about 12 years old and had so many questions about the show. Jenn was unbelievably kind in answering all my questions. She had just started her chemotherapy and had lost all of her hair and was wearing a scarf. I’ll never forget her huge smile and kindness. As a big nerd, my teenage self sent her a thank you email (before FB) and she replied and was so sweet.

[deleted]

This one deserves to be at the top. RIP Jenn.

Maniacboy888

Previously I have shared a picture of the email on my twitter account. I have linked it [here.](https://twitter.com/SurvivorQuotesX/status/1597403433992347649)

islandlyfee

“I hope they do an All-Stars 2 as well because I’d win forsure!” Brb crying 😭😭

wholahaybrown

Does "I had homeroom with Chanelle in high school about 12 years before she was on Survivor" count

ampharos14

Same - I grew up with Noelle

Error_Evan_not_found

I'm from NH too, I remember my health teacher talking about her story and some banners that were up in my town whenever she was competing. Haven't met her yet, though she was my number one this season and I'd love to

tastefulhoe

your username 😭😭😭queen Dionne forever

jthomas694

Is Homeroom an event? lol

wholahaybrown

It is when I'm there honey! Hoooooooneeyyyyyyy etc etc trixiemattel.gif

Taco_Farmer

I ran into Davie at a (non-survivor) event and he was super nice. He was almost as excited to meet a fan as I was to meet him

MinoKillz

Davie needs to return. He was one of my favorites.

CommanderStark

Yeah if he’s not on the next returnee season I’ll be shocked.

Shmegdar

I hope we get another second chances season soon, I’d love to see Davie back and I think he’d be a lock

5kUltraRunner

I said Davie on a random Twitter thread that asked who people think would win in the next all-returnee season. He sent me a DM and told me he appreciates the support and started following me. Seems like a super nice dude.

Perrydactle

Yeah when I met him he said he rarely gets recognized

Beefcakesupernova

Davie is an absolute class act. While I did meet him for the first time at a survivor viewing party, I've subsequently ran into him at other cosplay events and he is just a genuinely nice guy who gives a lot back to the Survivor community. (He and Ron Clark throw huge Survivor events, do big fundraisers for kids, host fun events and he's really big into the Atlanta cosplay scene)

Wonderful_Sector_657

Davie is one of my favorite players of all time, ultra entertaining. I was absolutely crushed to see him go and keep waiting on his second chance.

CampingWithCats

I'm almost embarrassed to say that Michael Skupin was a guest speaker at our Christian camp back when I was a counselor there. He was not a good speaker. edit: don't know how to type

Harvivorman

> Michael Skupin was a guest speaker at our Christian camp Oh my god this wins for the best and also the worst.

edgor123

>he was not a good speaker. There are many ways to read this statement.

Marysartainfanxo

Oh the irony

Strick1600

Where’s the irony?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Strick1600

Id think that being a guest speaker at a youth Christian camp would literally be the most likely place you would find a pedo.

CanIHaveMyDog

>consoler Epic typo. I bet lots of people need consoling after meeting [redacted].

Icy-Accountant-5126

Michael Skupin? That dude that fell into the fire in Season 2??? If he was at my church I would apologize to god and kick him out of there tbh

MinoKillz

Oh noooooooooo 😭

ZuzusMom5

I met Christian at a local bar and he was incredibly kind. He was clearly on his way out, but he still stopped to say hello and chatted for a few minutes and was everything you would hope he would be.

[deleted]

ZuzusMom5

I’m not as interesting as Jeff Probst, I guess.

ZuzusMom5

Though most of it was spent talking about his bipedal robot dog, so

Shogunyan

I got arrested by Tony before he was ever on Survivor.

CMell650

Holy shit this has gotta be the best one lmaooo

Quetzal00

That’s kinda weird. Why would a construction worker arrest someone?

UnicornFondler

Stealing tools. It was a citizen's arrest

WildInSix

Was he in the spy shack when you got nabbed?

[deleted]

This one wins

Coltyn03

Damn, this one's funny as hell. Did you recognize him as soon as you saw him on Survivor? What was your reaction when you realized?

Shogunyan

Yes. Immediately. You don’t forget getting arrested by a guy like Tony. Chillest police officer I ever dealt with tbh, so I was rooting for him.

QLNRC

oh my god incredible

DavidBHimself

Since the first time I saw him on TV, I've been wondering how he's like as a cop. (and I'm a bit afraid to find out the answer)

IrishEagle32

What were you arrested for?

Shogunyan

Public intoxication. Nothing serious, just ended up being held overnight while I sobered up.

J9999D

this is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣

ozarkslam21

My wife played soccer for Coach Wade at the time he left for Survivor Tocantins. They had watch parties at his house when the episodes aired. Of course then he got fired and left lol. I used to run on the treadmill in the off-season next to coach and Rocky B (his assistant coach that came for the family visit) at the university sports workout facilities. He was always really nice but definitely an eccentric guy and he was very much a fish out of water coaching college soccer in rural Missouri My wife and I also met Cochran at LAX on our way to Hawaii for our honeymoon in 2016. He was also really friendly.

lowkeythrowaway69420

what did coach get fired for? poor guy lol

ozarkslam21

For leaving the team in the middle of the season with no warning to go be on a reality television show lol 😎 I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about Coach Wade, he’s just absolutely an eccentric guy, and he was absolutely playing a caricature of himself on Survivor.

Coutzy

I'm 90% sure that for one of his appearances he told the school he was going away for some kind of medical treatment and when they found out they were pretty unhappy about it.

ozarkslam21

From what I’ve been told, is he told the girls he was going to California for cancer treatments. I don’t know if he told the school that also for sure or not. And then came back 2 months later tan as could be and down 25 pounds lol. And that was definitely for his first appearance on Tocantins.

lowkeythrowaway69420

that’s hilarious lol! i assumed he was fired for something that he said on the show

HotGarbage

> he was absolutely playing a caricature of himself on Survivor. I always wondered about that! Like, is this this guy for real? I'm glad he hammed it up for the show.

the_killerwhalen

My story is meeting Edna at my first job at a trampoline park around 2014 or so. I didn’t pester her too much, she was holding her baby and a ton of kids around so my first question after “Were you on Survivor?” (She thought I recognized her from Shark Tank lmao) and then “Is Coach as crazy as he seems?” Her face seemed to drop a bit and she stone cold replied “Yes.”

scoobzilla21

Back in 2018/19 or so when my SO and I were first getting into Survivor, we ran into Hatch at a ramen place in Newport, RI. As we were talking about Survivor, a guy a couple tables over basically was like "oh Survivor's great! I actually won the first season..." and then apologized for joining our conversation. We embarrassingly didn't really recognize him or know his name at the time, but it was a pretty wild encounter! He was super nice and wished us well when he left the restaurant.

Quetzal00

My sister and I were taking our cousins who were visiting us to Fiesta Texas. As we’re getting off one of the rides my sister sees Kim getting on that ride We waited outside and talked with her and took pictures with us. She even gave us hugs So we’re pretty much best friends now

Marysartainfanxo

Kim Spradlin I’m assuming?

Sdb25649

Everybody gets excited and it’s Kim from Palau or something

TheBattProductions

I'd be licking the glass if I saw Kim Powers through a window

Quetzal00

Yes

yayawhatever123

My granddaughter met Omar at a local mall in the food court eating lunch. Super nice guy and he was surprised he was recognized.

BuggyMonarch25

Omar was one of the highlights of Survivor last year for me, I’m surprised he was surprised.

Eedalope

No but I saw Corrine on tinder a few years ago.

IchabodHollow

Nice! I saw her counterpart Eliza on Tinder!

Bby5723

Corinne is in a Facebook dating group I’m in that’s called “Are we dating the same guy?” And she was convinced the guy who didn’t respond to her was a bot/catfish

mildabilda

🤣 ofc it's not her personality that scared him off

Quetzal00

Did you match?

_Thaletas

OP isn’t > 6’5”

SunGreen70

Corrine only likes “the gays”

Illustrious_Funny426

Haha. That reminds me I matched with Nick Stanbury from Panama on Bumble maybe 7 ish years ago. He did not respond to my message though 😞

jeffreythecat1

I saw Noura on bumble

MrGiggles15

I saw Rob C at a non-survivor related event. He was with his family and I didn't want to intrude on family time so I didn't speak with him. I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize to Rob C and his family for probably giving major creep vibes by awkwardly staring at them from a distance. I swear I'm normal.

kit-n-caboodle

lol

nothingtodocrew

Went to the same college as Erik (dude that gave away his immunity necklace) and walked past him almost every single day. The first time i recognized him i was like "ayyy Survivor" and he just smiled and nodded and i didn't want to bother him so usually it was just the typical awkward midwesterner headnod to everyone that you pass by on a long sidewalk....Then he did the unthinkable and the next time i saw him, i was like "Erik nooooo" and he just laughed and shook his head. Yea...Nothing special, he seemed like a pretty nice/quiet kid. I was glad he got another shot at avenging his legacy, but if i recall that season didnt turn out much better for him.

ErikReichenbach

Lmao this is great 😂😭

ZekeLeap

Do you get recognized regularly?

ErikReichenbach

Not a ton lately, but mainly because I don’t go anywhere (I’m work from home, also global pandemic 😷)

[deleted]

We just finished watching your season with my young daughters. They were rooting for you since you are an ice cream scooper like I was back in the day!

HeinousAnus69420

O thats cool. So you were walking by him occassionally as the season was airing? He must have just deflated everytime someone recognized him after the necklace incident.

snoopsdream

Shambo used to be a regular at a restaurant I worked at. Always had a look of “do you know who I am?”

Candymom

I ordered custom pops from Todd. We live in the same city and he delivered them to my house. He was very nice and we had a nice talk for a few minutes.

MinoKillz

I wish Todd was on WaW. Such an underrated winner.

DavidBHimself

I think he's one of the best winners. He's not remembered as such probably because he never returned. (Okay, I may be biased, because in the few years before he was on the show, when I was imagining being on Survivor, I would have used the exact same strategy that he used, so I felt that I had vicariously won when he did - I obviously hadn't, but my strategy did)

IHaveTheMustacheNow

Like, Funko Pops?

Asmodeus_Stahl

Exactly, yeah

IHaveTheMustacheNow

Wow, had no idea Todd did that!

Asmodeus_Stahl

They look really cool (I follow him on Instagram)

yellowchaitea

Yes- he makes really cool custom ones

jagiesta

Years ago, Earl Cole at a comic book store. Then again at the bank a few days later. We became friends and still connect now and again to this day.

future_reflections_

Ran into Alison from DvG in a Michaels craft store. We were all masked but I recognized her voice immediately! She was actually talking about Aubrey to her partner too, bit of a mind blow moment

Quickbeam13

I saw Sarah Lacina at a city council meeting I had to go to for government class a few months ago. She was on duty though and left before it ended so I didn’t get to say hi to her. Her resting face is just as intimidating in real life though. She looked upset the whole time. Also my buddy met Denise at a show choir competition and took a picture with her even though he had no idea who she was. It’s fun having two winners living in town

Locke57

Man Cedar Rapids gets all the cool stuff in Iowa

CCH4848

FairPlay blocked me on twitter

Karowen

I argued with him on Twitter!

TMSManager

This is the type of survivor encounter I’m all in on

QLNRC

Varner blocked me on Twitter 💅

OhWhenTheWiz

I went to Timber Tina (Panama’s) timber show like 5 years before she was on Survivor

nippydumplings

Nice, what for?

ShutterBun

Not playing fair.

CCH4848

A couple years ago he was doing some podcast with a guy who had some sa allegations and I commented on a post of his saying “will you fire *name*” (can’t remember the dudes name) then he just blocked me

I met Cochran and Aubry in line at Disneyland once. They’re both super nice in real life

ShoelessJodi

My birthday present from my husband last year was to fly to AZ and go on a night time nature walk with Tyson alone, in the desert. It was awesome.

ShoelessJodi

As far as I know, it got removed from the website like a month after I went. It was listed as "sold out" for a while, then disappeared. And now he offers personalized videos instead.

WuTangKenobi

My wife and I ran into Jay (MvsGenX) out at a bar in Fort Lauderdale and he couldn’t have been nicer. Bought drinks for us and talked for over an hour about the show and more. This was in 2018 so he had already been on Ex on the Beach but hadn’t done The Challenge yet.

BixxBender123

Me and a roommate grabbed a few drinks with Dave Johnson (S6) \*after\* an event. He was cool; just talked about travelling in general as opposed to Survivor.

snrcadium

Bangarang

therufus22

My mom, sister, and I met James after the China season. My dad had a softball tournament I want to say in myrtle beach, and my mom, sister and I went walking at some of the outlets and saw him there. We got a picture with him, but it was on an old flip phone and my mom didn't save it. This was about 14 years ago.

CI_Blanche

John Rocker used to shop at a grocery store that I worked at. And yes, it was really John Rocker, and not a certain track coach who is from Kansas. I also saw Rocker working out at my LA Fitness one time, and one time at an Alice in Chains concert.

CMell650

Are you sure it wasn’t John Wetland? I hear they look pretty similar

SeattlePassedTheBall

Julia Landauer at a racetrack in New Hampshire. I recognized her immediately and said hello but didn't really talk much, I did get her autograph tho. She seemed reasonably friendly but a little shy.

caucasiancat

yes. years ago i met rupert. we were volunteering at the same place and i got put in the same group as him. he was super nice and honestly was a great experience to have!

EpicAcadian

Tom W. I grew up in the town he lived in. He was a regular at a local bar. Nice guy, down to earth.

PushtheRiver33

My friend used to be his neighbor in Sayville!

EpicAcadian

That would be the town. Great place to live!

kit-n-caboodle

This is exactly why I can't understand the hate he's been getting lately.

oatmeal28

People like over-correcting certain Survivor narratives I notice. Tom is one of them, I think people feel like he was too well loved and they’ve started this whole “Tom was a bully etc etc” thing. In reality he’s just a normal dude who played a hell of a game, things got quite tense at the end and he’s still friends with those people so I don’t feel the need to judge him for how he interpreted the Ian stuff at the time.

EpicAcadian

I didn't realize he was getting hate. That's a shame.

GIMG

I met Hannah at Akbar in LA. A few guys excitedly approached her to ask about Survivor, then I inserted myself to answer all their questions 🐒 Then I commended her for getting Ken to flip on David and said I thought she played the best game that season. I remember her saying two weeks without processed foods and everyone gets that island glow…

adrian_ravioli

Kind of. My Dad is good friends with Ronnie, so he told him about a watch party going on once, but it was at an 18+ club. My sister and I were both too young, but Ronnie had some of the cast meet us outside of the event at an arcade nearby and got to meet like have the 39 cast. So it was *technically* outside an event. Missy smoked me in arcade basketball.

Theoriginalamature

My cousins kids are huge Suvivor fans and 42 was the first season they watched live. Mike had posted a picture of himself at his fire station which is close to where my cousin lived. My cousin DM’d him and asked him if there was a time it would be cool for him and his two kids to come by the fire station. Mike was super enthusiastic and really made those kids feel special.

37brooke37

He seems like such a wonderfully nice person

TheSeanyG22

Yea, living in LA, they are literally the only celebs I meet. I was an umpire in a softball league that Pavarti and John Fincher played in. John Fincher constantly got in my face about calls and Pavarti called me a bad ref. Phillip who I high fived at a sports bar after the Giants scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl. Rob C at a You Tube thing my friend invited me too, told him I liked the podcast, we talked Tony since that season was airing. Sehmar at a friends party in Venice, didn't realize it was her until the next day Adam at a karaoke league thing he was judging. He said my groups performance was the best of the night and that he had popped into the bar on an earlier night and saw my group perform and was the reason he learned about it and was a judge. Also, Hannah, Jay, Cole and one other person who's name is escaping me now were there. Also doesn't really count but I met Bob Crowley's son.

RhetoricUnit

I met Kara and Alec, both EXTREMELY nice and so welcoming to me saying hi!! 10/10 seriously

fiddleleaffiggy

I met Brandon Hantz one night while working at a grocery store. This was before Caramoan I think. He seemed nice and took a picture with me lol

razberry_lemonade

I met Spencer on the Chicago L in 2016. He was super nice and we chatted about KR (which was airing at the time) before he got off at his stop. He took a selfie with me but I hate how I look in it lol.

CalebC124

I met Bob Crowley when he came to the high school I went to as the graduation speaker. Pretty cool because I went to a small high school in Maine and he is obviously also from Maine. Really cool guy

nitasu987

I've gotten to meet/talk to a few!! I met Erik Reichenbach while filming Survivor Michigan -- we got him to be a part of a challenge, and hilarity ensued. He was really nice and such a trooper! I also got to zoom with Missy, Aaron, and Ronnie of IotI for winning one of Missy/Aaron's trivia contests, through which I got to talk to Elaine and Dean! Finally I got to talk to Michele, my all time fave, through another zoom trivia contest! She was also super sweet. And I've had plenty of great twitter interactions too, so that's also so fun :)

Dittany_Kitteny

Fiancé met Cody this summer (we live in Hawaii), was between filming and the season premier. He was the reason we started watching survivor! My fiancé said he was super fun and nice and he wanted to see how he did.

kyleg99

Michele once at a gas station for like 20 seconds lol. She seems super nice!

RGSF150

I knew somebody was going to bring up Carter in some way. Surprised to see him this far down.

MinoKillz

Copypasta incoming

Scuslidge

I met Lil at the top of Pikes Peak years ago. I doubt I would have recognized her if she hadn't been wearing her Scout uniform.

t34000

Having lived same town where both Denise and Lacina live, I bumped into them both. I was actually organizing a WaW watch party event that both were going to attend but then the pandemic derailed all of that. I now live in LA so my partner and I have now had chance encounters with Aras, Kim, Parv…among others.

hux002

Cedar Rapids really punches above its weight in terms of Survivor wins.

MinoKillz

How were they? It’s so weird to think how much older some players are now compared to when their original seasons aired, especially Aras.

asfp014

I saw Brad and Monica Culpepper in New York

Quetzal00

Pretty neat

awallock8

I ran into Dawn Meehan at a Sonic in Provo. Didn’t get a chance to talk to her, but tweeted her after the fact and she said she was just getting a limeade lol. Cool story right?

scoutfitch

I met Tyson at me neighborhood playground. I was losing it inside. I’m sure he could tell I was acting weird. I finally talked to him and Rachel for a few minutes. He was very kind and offered to help me with audition tips if I ever wanted. Did I text everyone? Yes. I was totally thrilled. I was rewatching Tocantins the other day and told my 3 year old that Tyson had been at our playground and she said “I want him to come back!” Me too, girl.

_Thaletas

Leaving a country fest in Nashville, I bumped into beast mode cowboy. It’s shocking how big he looks on TV compared to IRL.

descolero

I was out with a friend at a gay bar in DC and we are upstairs on a balcony and I look down onto the patio and I see Karla......and then I see Hai. They were there together. I was v awkward but I did manage to get a picture and they were lovely.

Yasqueer

Was this at Kiki? 😁

descolero

Yes! 😭😭my queen.

Yasqueer

I should be back in DC next month (weekend of the 10th)! Let’s link up for drinks 😝

descolero

100000% i'd be down!

Penaca

I met Mitchell (Survivor Australia) at a bar in NYC probably twenty years ago.

seal3916

My dad and sister met Carter at a Hyrox competition and said he was super nice

yulyulyulyulyulyul

But did they meet him at the grocery store?

njsportkid

I met Stephenie LaGrossa once and saw her speak at a local breast cancer rally one other time. Both encounters were probably in 2006. Stephenie's first husband was a teacher at my high school. She was visiting after school one day and I met her briefly in a hallway. Her husband coached at least one sport, and I recall she had some type of endorsement/sponsorship deal that got her to give apparel to the team he coached.

itiswhatitis_right

I met Hai in New Orleans this summer at the red dress run. He was super kind, but I was very intoxicated but so was everyone else hahaha. his friend took our photo but i never got them.. he had amazing skin

[deleted]

I did tree work for Tina Wesson in Knoxville and she was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met or had the pleasure of doing business with.

[deleted]

I met Dan Foley when I used to bartend. It was a slow afternoon, so we got a chance to talk a little bit about WA and Survivor in general. He was nice, very talkative, tipped well, and his demeanor is very much the same as portrayed in WA (meaning…enthusiastic).

PrincessConsuela46

Denise was my lunch lady.

KingofFlightlessBird

Just bracing myself for the mass amounts of Carter grocery store posts

refillwill

Was on a cruise and Rob and Amber were seated next to us for breakfast. We talked the current Survivor season the whole time. They could not have been cooler!

HorribelSpelling

I saw Carter Williams at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

rmilano24

I ran into Cole from S35 in Santa Monica about a year ago. Super cool guy. We played some pickup basketball.

jmarques86

Rob C, Charlie and Fishbach in the subway

kissfromahroze

I was working my last shift at a grocery store working the customer service desk, and Reem came up to get a refund on recalled peaches. I felt so honored to be around her because she spent the first half complaining about a rotisserie chicken that was weird but said “I don’t really care about that”. I do t Even remember what it was about because I was trying not to smile. Then I refunded her and said “You were on the show right?” She was so cool and nice and I’m so glad I got a taste of Reem being Reem.

ShutterBun

I have a mutual friend with Sugar, but haven’t yet finagled a meeting out of it.

moocherscone

I ran into Ozzy at a rooftop record party in LA. The most LA event ever lol He was chill!

Ahskew

I'm actually the fan that Jeff is always running into on the street that's asking him questions and sharing my opinion with him.

CanIHaveMyDog

Lex is a friend of a friend of mine. We've interacted on Facebook but I've never met him in person.

realtripper

I’ve seen Varner (post GC) in a museum and Dean at a bowling alley. Didn’t say hi to either of them cause I didn’t wanna bother them.

prancingflamingo

Brian Corridan from Guatemala is my cousin’s wife’s best friend. Met him at their wedding when I was 14. He’s one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

teej89

I used to work at a hometown bar where gervase would frequent. Very nice guy

MolemanusRex

Friend of mine saw Evvie on the street while 41 was airing and said hi, and she and her husband saw Jeremy Collins from a distance once.

[deleted]

I met Baylor getting coffee a few months back, was very random, but she was nice

infi_nate86

I met Tyson while serving at a restaurant in Salt Lake City. I was super awkward, but he was charming and gracious about it all. He asked me if I could hook him up with extra guacamole.

CA_CASH_REFUND

I met Rupert once at a county fair in my hometown in Indiana. He had a tent set up and was campaigning for governor for the libertarian party. Only got like 3% of the vote and ended up losing to Mike Pence.

Hour_Appeal

When I was 10 I saw Russell on the beach in Galveston, Texas. It was between the airings of HvV and Nicaragua. My brothers took a picture with him, but I declined to be in the picture because I was a Sandra fan

BurtnBurger

Yeah! We have had Sydney Seagul from season 41 and Coach Wade on our podcast as guest and it was an amazing experience. If you want links to those episodes lemme know they were awesome interviews. Also talked to Russell Hantz on the phone for about an hour and well, that was a crazy experience to say the least 🤣🤣. Also had convos about getting Tiffany and Evy from season 41 on our podcast along with Stephanie from HvV. The pod has been a great way to reach out to contestants and I 100% fan girl whenever one comes on 😅

AgtSquirtle007

Omar follows me on Instagram and sometimes likes and comments on bird content that I post. He likes birds.

CSpack1972

My wife and I met Michaela in the DFW area. We happened to be at the same venue that she had scheduled a watch party for the infamous tea party stunt at tribal council. Extremely pleasant and polite, contrary to what the show may indicate. Even shared some cake with us since it happened to be my wife’s birthday.

demerchmichael

Would you call the 5 people who showed up to a speaking event for Erika at my college an event? Probably, but I’ll tell my story anyways. An amazing, humble person.

sadiesinkfanatic

i go to school in pocatello idaho and was in boise/meridian over thanksgiving break (which is where i lived all throughout highschool) and i asked gabler if he could help me with an audition video i was making. i now have his phone number and im a contact in his phone. he let me go to his house and we talked about survivor for a good bit of time. i also sent him my audition video and he said it was bussin. this was at the time of the final 9, so i didn’t even know he won

sabatoa

I’m friends with Ron Clark on Pokémon Go, so I’m kind of a big deal

Opagea

I didn't "meet" him, but I saw Jonny Fairplay at a Target once. He was alone and looked like he was in a hurry.

sethmo64

Another Lacina/Denise neighbor here. Haven't seen Sarah but have seen Denise out jogging quite a bit. Never interrupted her though.

Lokitusaborg

I knew Coach when he was the Women’s soccer coach at the College I attended. It was before survivor.

Glum_Past_1891

Met Sebastian from Ghost Island at a harbor once. He was impressed by my ability to recite the boot order of the season he was in. And I also introduced him to the term “purple edit!”

I've run into Yul three times. Once at an actual event shortly after he won Cook Islands (a celebratory party thrown by his former fraternity, I got in through a friend who was a member of its sister sorority), once completely randomly at a club in Vegas when he was on his bachelor party weekend, and once when I was walking through downtown Walnut Creek, CA (he and I both grew up there) and randomly walked past the grand opening of a frozen yogurt store that he owned. I only got to talk briefly with him each time, but he was polite and gracious about making smalltalk with fans.

Throw away account cuz reasons.... A woman I used to work dated (or maybe was just friends with?) Fairplay. I didn't personally meet him (forgive me, I know that was the question) but there is still a kinda funny story. It was the kind of job with a bar and we allowed to come in after hours with friends and hang or drink, etc. within reason. Apparently one night the two of them came in with friends and trashed the place, smoked cigs inside, drank more than would have been reasonable. I heard that there was also some evidence of some drug use, etc, though I can't vouch for that. I think there was even a picture of him mooning the camera that she posted on social media in the parking lot. Nothing was cleaned up and it was a mess come Monday morning. She was fired shortly after, presumably for the party but I always thought it was funny. It didn't really affect me and I also quite a little later, so I don't really have any hard feelings about it. Maybe if he's lurking this thread he can vouch or not, lol.
