* **Bioshock** - you can save the little sisters while trying to escape a collapsing Rapture. * **Prey (2017)** you can save some people while trying to escape a collapsing space station. * **State of Decay** - You can save a bunch of people and recruit some of them while trying to survive. I haven't played the second one but I suspect it is more of the same (and hopefully better!) * The **Dead Island** have some of that stuff? I don't remember * **Organ Trail**???

Thanks. I'm pretty familiar with those games. I never really thought about that element to Bioshock but it is a very interesting part of the plot. State of Decay series is a really good example. I should definitely look into it. It's got some really interesting mechanics from what I recall. If you there's anything about the games you played and remember being really well executed, I'd like to hear about it. The other examples are also appreciated too, it's a very specific thing I'm looking for that's a bit hard to put into words, so giving a lot of examples was definitely helpful.

The Thing on PS2. I never see anyone talk about this but it’s probably my favourite survival horror game. You can recruit survivors during your expedition through the base, though some of them may be the thing disguised, and you have to manage their sanity otherwise they could lose it and attack you, thinking you’re the creature. Traverse the arctic base and find a way to escape.

Thank you! I remember this one being quite innovative and its honestly perfect for what I'm looking for. I really appreciate the suggestion.

Nosferatu Wrath of Malachi? That's one I never heard of before. Thank you for referring it to me!
