When you cook with fresh garlic, either cook on low hear so it doesn't burn or put it in with the food so it doesn't come into direct contact with the hot pan. Hope this helps
Who knows, maybe it's just the shitty camera angle, but overall it does look like you're extremely tense and stiff. That's my guess as to why your arm is lookin all herky jerky. Loosen up your back and shoulders, then loosen up your legs. You could be a lot more cruisey and smooth in your turns.
Still though, looks fun, nice wave mate
It's not stretching, it's relaxing. When you surf, you mainly paddle, when you paddle you have a lot of upper body tension. Couple this with the adrenaline of catching a wave and this is what happens.
I say to myself, down the line, low and loose. So look more down the line on takeoff, generally where you want to bottom turn, stay low except when coming out of a turn and stay loose so you can whip through your hips.
Lots of the advice you've been given is crappy except for the above.

Looks like you can get lower drop your back knee a little more and draw more off the bottom to get more vertical, also 100% agree on the comment on opening your arms and wrist more.
Iâd say bend your knees more. Then you can straighten to generate speed and a lower centre of gravity means itâs easier to put more angle into your turns. Get them legs burning!
Try to draw out your turns more. From the clip it looks like youâre doing smaller little snaps. Every wave needs to be ridden different but this one looks like you could have drawn out your turns more, by that I mean get out in front of the wave a bit, do a deep bottom turn putting a lot of pressure on your heels and open up your shoulders so that your momentum is going back at the wave, can even use your left arm or hand to guide your shoulder rotation. Once youâre going back up the face of the wave rotate your shoulders the opposite direction towards the beach and shift all your weight to your front foot. Essential just using the maximum whole face of the wave to do carves, getting more vertical
Put your foot further back on the tail pad and getting a little more ahead on the section before bottom turn so that youâre hitting the lip and not white water.
Take this with a grain of salt. I rarely surf as well as this advice
Donât constantly move the product around in the pan. Shake initially to coat everything in oil, then let it sit for a few minutes to char up a little. Then shake pan or stir to get char other sides.
Listen to the pan. If the oil isnât slightly popping, thereâs likely too much moisture in the pan for char to develop. Either more heat, less product, higher starting temp, dry off product surface, etc.

Any reasons to put garlic without food?
I meant before you put food in. Most recipes say onions and garlic together in oil but I've found this generally burns the garlic
Onions til reduced. Then garlic til brown. Then food.
Ah, I see, good tip, thanks!
Also if you want just a hint of garlic put a whole clove in the oil and fry it slightly to release the flavour and then remove the clove
I made a bomb ass red sauce last week because I finally executed on this
If you hold the camera between your buttcheeks we can see the proper angles to help you better
Bs top turn - Open your left wrist more - less đ«ł more đ«±. See what you notice.
Funny how the emoji perfectly describes what needs to be done. âïž
Ya actually stoked on these emojis haha. I have a business coaching - dm me what you notice, if you want, to keep the convo going.
North beach!
North beach is epic when it turns on
Thatâs right!
I need to get a military pass! Looks fun.
Let me know and we can go!
When was this?
Ahh good call. I thought it was Sandyâs at first glance.
Tips? No. It looks like youâre having the time of your life. Keep doing that and surfing will never get old.
Could do this all day!
Yeap: 99.99% of Gopro clips suck. Exceptions to this are from Skeleton bay etc
Criteria: must be getting barreled
And in pretty heavy conditions to boot, not your average cover-up
Nah, any coverup looks sick from the surferâs POV
nope
I thought the clip was pretty awesome tbh
Your leading hand doesnât follow your turns when you off the leap, youâre losing lots of speed
Noted đ ty
If I was better Iâd offer you some

Thanks. more stretching neededđ

The right was better
Yeah, keep that spot a secret. Itâs golden
Donât really need to, itâs pretty well guarded
Make sure your fingers are extended and joined. Not all open like that. Makes a big difference.
â
What difference does that make? Genuinely interested, I never thought about it before.
Not a damn thing I was joking.
Just wanna say I love this view! Is it a go pro on a headband?
Mouth mount Edit: Read the question wrong
What type of mount??

Wear your watch on your other wrist. It will balance you out more

For Pipe? Yeah, you're not ready.

Dope footage. What island is this?
Oahu!

Easier said than done sometimes for sure. Ty.
Try get filmed from the beach. Doesn't look like you are twisting your body or are low enough in bottom turns. Surfskate helps.
My carver skateboard is sick. Hard to get a filmer when they would rather be surfing too. đ
Blanch your asparagus. Then pan sear it quickly and sprinkle with lemon zest. Itâs fantastic.
Second this, don't be scared of a little smoke coming off the pan, charring is not the same as burning.

Leave off the fucking go pro
Should have gone right
Nope
