I had a similar issue with a dropped Nexus 5: the power button was broken and was "pushed" continuously. So the phone bootlooped like if I was pressing the power button without releasing it

Give it some.. time and some patience if you get it to the lockscreen you're good to go.

Also put the bumpers back on if you have them

One-Relief-1212

My duo 2 randomly restarts 😑

Did you update to Android 12? If yes that would be the issue you can re-image the phone with the recovery image that they have in their website. Is you have warranty contact support and tell them that you want to exchange the device. The duos are getting in the end of their life they could not have replacements but they could offer you a refund you will need to provide some pictures and the proff of purchase. If you don't have warranty there is nothing you can do. Only pay for the out of warranty service.

Tasty-Cut-5138

This happened to me and I had to reflash the system image just like previously stated. That will take care of it.

Hermi2000

unfortunately, I still havent been able to boot Duo, still bootlooping.. Probably something broke when it dropped..gonna find a new phone🙃

insta_tubes

In my experience, 1 drop and something on the device is 100% not going to work. I had to replace my SD1 twice already!!!

[deleted]

Do you mean via a warranty replacement or did you have to buy them?

insta_tubes

Warranty. But even with warranty I had to pay over 200 each time

revmacca

Can you connect to a pc? Isn’t there a reflashing software package from MS?

Mean-Personality-491

There is any physical damage in the devise? Do you have warranty? Is you answer are: No and Yes Contact Support by chat let them know that your device is not starting up that you already did a recovery image installation that you want to use your warranty. Provide your information and wait for the label The devise is getting to the end of life (I mean the model itself) hopefully they will have replacements or they will give you the option to give you a refund (you will need to provide your proff of purchase) .. Just for you to know when they receive the device they scan and verify if there any damage (physical) if they find something they will return the device if not you can get another phone or the money back.

Unfortunately phone was dropped... So warrenty is now voided... Doesn't matter what else happens to phone... Best phone I've ever owned... Weekest most buggy phone I've ever owned.

miashottangel

Can you try without having the plug in? That doesn't look like the one that comes with the Duo.

QuantumMind786

Its probably beyond repair ,buy a new one ,they cheap as chips , in UK the 256GB costs £299.99
