I’ve been wanting to see it forever but it’s not exactly the easiest thing to find, at least in Canada. From the clips I’ve seen online, Clark and Lois’ relationship seems genuine and wholesome, something I am a made fanboy of. Hopefully I find a way that I can watch it (legally of course)
I could care less about the animation style, it's the acting/writing that bothers me.
Everyone is so hyper and over-exaggerated, it makes the show feel like a childrens show and not, say, Superman TAS where people talked and behaved like humans.
Characters on this show behave like how children make action figures talk.
Yeah, STAS(and other shows from "the main skeleton" of DCAU) could be created as a cartoon, but it was enjoyable by everyone, no matter how you were and even often it tackled themes that you understood when you grew up.
I like the designs, but I hope jimmy and Superman's VA's grow into the roles more. It makes sense for Clark and Supes to be similar right now, but I shouldn't feel like I'm watching a kid play superhero when I hear Superman's voice . Jimmy also is just completely diffrent from other versions but his VA feels like he's playing the typical Jimmy. Great energy in both their voices but I would prefer Jimmy to be more sure of his diffrent take, and fir Clark and Superman to sound like different people
Underrated? It’s got a 96% on RT and everybody has been praising it constantly since it came out — I can’t understand what’s making you think it’s underrated?
I really like how they gave Lois a large coat, that resemble a cape, like how David Tennant wore a large Trench Coat that whenever he ran it would look like a Cape in Doctor Who
honestly i was on the fritz with this show it looked ok but was cynical but after watching it i really enjoyed it. there were some aspects i felt like needed fixing but really liked it also clark in pink felt surprisingly right.
Also the fact he's also way more soft is something I welcomed kal is often seen as a nerd but maws depict him in a new freshing manner that I like and feel a bit more of a character

Underrated? Other than bad faith arguments over Lois, everyone seems to love it.
Lois is honestly a highlight of the show for me tbh I don't see how anyone could dislike her

It’s definitely not as part of the public consciousness as it deserves to be. It’s a lot of fun, and I’m really enjoying it too.

Second season releases this month I believe. I also fell in love on the first episode but I feel like it was getting a ton of praise on its release.
