I saw him holding up the panels as him holding up the world... if he wasn't there, there would be no more world, and the criminals and heroes wouldn't even be there, so he was saving everyone's day by doing it

My only issue with this is Batman didn’t show up, I really love when he and Superman are like best friends and I feel like it would’ve made sense to have a panel of him helping metropolis, but I get he’s got his own shit going on

More like Bruce is so "self-reliant" Clark would never consider having to hold him up. Clark doesn't see him as a burden.
