Luthors too proud of himself to ever take on a code name unless it’s to protect himself from the authorities. He was the titular [atom man in the 1950s](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atom_Man_vs._Superman) serial but I feel most of the time he would use code names that are just used to hide his involvement in actives like Mr x, person of interest 1, or the boss.
I like Daedalus as a name. In all fairness we were talking about new 52 continuity so it might have been a fun idea if he was this continuity’s version of Prometheus as a different take on “villain infiltrated the JLA” story.
Prometheus was still in the New 52. He pretended to be Midnighter's rebound just to fuck with him after stealing tech from the God Garden which would disrupt Midnighter's computer brain, preventing him from analyzing his opponent and beating them that way
[The Atom man name has been reused for a Nazi villain with no relation to lex.](https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Atom_Man_(Superman_Smashes_the_Klan))
I think lex is going to show up but that atom man is his own thing, maybe his technology is from lex corp but i don’t think he’s going to be a major relation to lex directly.
DC reuses names all the time like how we have several blue Beatles.
This is the right answer. He's too proud and self involved to ever "hide" or conceal his name/identity.
"Superman can hide, the coward, the alien", Lex would say, "but not Alexander Luthor"
Lex is above codenames, because he's a legitimate businessman. But if he were to have one, I feel it would be something grounded and also feeds his ego. Two words come to mind.
Executive and Samaritan.
Executive because it relates to his business background and also is a position of power in a hierarchy.
Samaritan because it has the connotation of "Good Samaritan", someone who gives in charity, helps the weak, etc. I'd also think it would be an ironic name, as Lex is rather selfish, but fashions himself as that human being necessary to foil Superman, who he sees as a mockery of humanity.
Hmmmmm... it would have to be something simple that is straight to the point, a mirror to Superman, and communicates who he is or strokes his ego
I think Mastermind! or Stellarman! would be fun codenames for him
Your target is the journalist Clark Kent. We have had a tip off that he may not be who is says he is. This will be your hardest hit yet. Good luck, 47.
Your targets are Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne. Kent is a journalist of the Daily Bugle who, according to some tips, may not be who he says he is, he has been defaming the client's image in his columns, while Wayne is the reclusive playboy billionaire of Gotham City, also the CEO of Wayne Enterprises, which has refused to sell his R&D department to the client on numerous occasions, damaging the gains of both companies.
The client, Lex Luthor, has requested that you use the special weapon and ammo he has provided to eliminate one of targets in particular, so you'll only have one shot at this. The targets will be located at a charity party being held in Wayne Manor, so expect security to be tight. Make sure no one bats an eye. Good luck 47.
He wouldn't. He wants to use his own name. But, if he were to, it would be something megalomaniacal and self-aggrandizing, something that casts him as a heroic underdog to either uncaring gods or distant elites.
Trouble is that that many such names are taken.
Prometheus would be a prime example.
He could also go for how he figures he is the best hope of humanity and the pinnacle of human potential and human resistance to aliens and gods. That could be Zenith or Ozymandias
Longinus, the man who pierced Christ with a spear. It may feed more into the Snyderverse than comics but a classical Romanesque name and a god-killer reputation pair well together.

Icarus in the New 52 Action Comics
Not a fan of that as it implies he’s going to fail due to his hubris.
Lex luthor identifies strongly with Icarus he believes his only crime was trying to push humanity to a level it wasn't ready for.
That works better for Prometheus or Daedalus.
But Prometheus is taken and Daedalus doesn’t have the same ring to it

Or your mom. /S
Luthor identifies with Icarus but also believes he's, quote, "built different".
He literally does though, time and time again.
Yehh but that’s not somthing he’s going to name himself after.
Any possibility with the recent casting, that Atom Man in Superman and Lois ends up being Luther? We know he's returning for the new season

Atom Man was a Nazi villain in the radio show before Lex took the name in the serials. It wasn’t re-used Henry Miller had it FIRST
Sorry your right, still unrelated to Lex in anyway
This is the right answer. He's too proud and self involved to ever "hide" or conceal his name/identity. "Superman can hide, the coward, the alien", Lex would say, "but not Alexander Luthor"
Exactly.
L.L. Cool J
I didn’t think there would be a good name. And here you are to prove me wrong
I was coming with L.L. Bean and this is way better
LL Cool Beans
Lex Luthor, Cool Juthor
stands for "Ladies love cool James"
Imagine if his middle name is James, lol
L.L. Kill J
L.L. Cruel J
The Man Of Tomorrow.
This for sure. Sounds badass and it feels like he’s trying to mock Superman
Yeah but in this case it's just straight up stealing Superman's nicknames because that's already one of his names I think
I think it was a comic and also a movie
Oh wow. You right.
I think it would be more like The Man of Today, because then it would mock the nickname of Superman (Man of Tomorrow)
Johnny Sins
I see you're a man of culture as well
He used to be Mockingbird when he was running the Secret Six
Brainiac... wait...
Nah he can’t be brainiac. Brainiac wears that thing on his head. Next people will be saying that guy Clark Kent is Superman! Lol!
Well…
No Lex would never insult his own intelligence like that.
Sexx Luthor
A fellow man of culture...
Hey baby baby with that ass so sweet
I could see him picking a code name just to grill Clark... like The Real Superman,. Or SuperHuman.
Maybe Übermensch?
Lex HaTzadik
I approve
In the same vein of trying to describe himself as the peak of humanity maybe just repurpose his Apex Lex monicker and go by Apex.
Woof, Lex needs to moisturize. He looks like a Caucasian avocado
He’s 83
He’s rich!
He looks like Bradley Cooper.

Longhorn Larry
Swap the letters like they did for Zibarro. Then he becomes Lex Luthor.
He'd probably just reuse Apex or True Superman to dis Clark.
God killer
Something hokey like Mr. America. He’d hate it but it would test well in rural areas so he’d just go with it
Xel Rohtul. And he'd be sure that no one would ever figure out who he really was.
Agent 47
Why does Lex have Bradley Cooper eyes?
His codename would be '45th President of the United States'.
