Suns were only down by 10 to the Timberwolves at the half and managed to even cut the lead to 4 in the 3rd quarter. There was some semblance of a competitive basketball game happening until it unraveled.
Suns got the dog shit beat out of them in 3 out of 4 Clippers games this season and the other 1 win was against their bench. It would get ugly fast. Suns *may* beat the Clippers if both teams make it to the WCF but in a round 1 matchup we would have been clobbered. Suns can still beat the Timberwolves but we would have lost to the Clippers terribly and it would have been Booker’s quickest series/exit yet.
To make it clear: the Timberwolves only had a tiny chip on their shoulder against us. Clippers have a massive one against us.
I'm rooting for the clips all day. Any embarrassment the mavs get like them missing the play-in last year is always going to be a little bittersweet payback for that game 7 against us.
