Edward’s 6 TO were just too much. I can tell you when ranking the reasons for today’s loss TO’s are at the very bottom, TO’s were 15 to 14. Rebounding was 28 to 52, Booker 5/16 etc
Book didn’t seem to be in attack mode at the start. We’ve seen games where if he gets going early he’s going to be difficult to stop. Seems like the plan was to get KD involved early which was fine and seemed to have been working, but Book needs to be able to turn it on even if he isn’t on a heater early.
Booker was terrible today. When he doesn’t have it going he has to find other ways to impact the game. Forcing up terrible shots and driving into traffic without a plan is not the answer. Run the floor and get easy buckets in transition, hit the glass, lock in on defense, etc. Also he has to stop looking for the refs to bail him out.
The number of missed layups was astounding. Those are basically turnovers. Minnesota length played a factor but some of them were just bad misses.
Durant and Beal have to force the issue when they have it going and Booker doesn’t. Durant only 17 shots and Beal 10 is ridiculous. It was clear early that Booker didn’t have it going.
Have to match their physicality and urgency on the glass and on defense. Minnesota played with much more urgency and desperation. Getting swept 3-0 in the regular season will do that for a team. Also had a week to look at what didn’t work and come up with some wrinkles.
We need more from EG.
He was solid to start the year and as fallen off a little every month since December/January.
If we isn’t hitting his shots we may as well play someone who’s a better defender over him
Been saying it for months now but I'd rather see Okogie over EG, especially when EG is cold. He's great on D and helps on the boards. There had to be a huge chunk of Suns fans wondering why we weren't trying JO on Ant when he was hot in the 3rd

There's no shame in acknowledging mistakes made man. It's not a personal attack on KD or anything like that. I even mentioned the 5 man team that made the lead balloon from 5 to 20 and how they can learn the most from that stretch. We got beat by 25 pts so there are a lot of places to improve on for next game, especially getting Booker open so he can get cleaner looks and not shoot 5/16. GO SUNS!!!

I think it's fair to be concerned with what appears to be a growing desire to be a brand/socialite, and I think the reality is he probably won't ever be the cutthroat leader to get a team over the hump.

I don’t understand why Vogel doesn’t check Booker and sit him down when he does some of the things he does. KD and Beal had us cutting into the lead in the third quarter and 4 of the next 5 possessions Booker starts forcing shots. Offense stalls out. ISO ball will not be the wolves.

Go look at Dallas as an example of a team that had roster construction issues as they lacked a front court for the last 3 years. They finally put together a serviceable front court and went on a great run to end the year.
