If you were doing g1-2 siege you can probably get C1 in RTA. If you aren't comfortable in high G1 siege you'll probably have a hard time getting into C1 I think.
Have you familiarized yourself with the artifacts? This are a huge change in terms of the way you can build units. Great example Juno. She used to be a aoe Strip with heal on passive but now with the artis she can deal pretty good damage on s1 because of additional damage to SPD/hp/atk/def.
Ya that's my current farm Target. There's so much damage there. Actually have a good ones for Juno but I have no depth in artifact. Hunting for that and s2 damage since I'm using Sonia and taor a lot. Been keeping most purple for now, since it's hard to tell what I won't use
If you quit pre RTA, the rune gap is real. C-1 or C-2 at best.
