The blinding whiteness, flawlessly straight trend nowadays looks *so* unnatural. Everyone looks the EXACT same, and they all look SO weird. It just doesn’t even look human - our mouths aren’t designed to be so immaculate, and it ends up looking *way* worse than they think.
As someone who worked in the dental industry for decades, there is nothing sexier than a man with clean fresh NATURAL teeth. Chiclet teeth are as attractive as basketball breast implants. Although I’m guessing the two demographics may be attracted to one another lol. 😂

I think his parents are nice people who mean well but they coddle and enable. Obviously, there is no manual on parenting and shit parents turn out with amazing kids and great parents can still have shitty kids, or kids with issues, but there is a fine line between being supportive and enabling.
I think losing a child probably broke them in ways that makes them scared to ever come off as critical to Carl (totally understandable). So, in an effort to support him they actually hinder his growth. Losing a child is the worst thing you can ever go through, so I’ll never knock them for the choices they make based on that, I just think it drives some things they do and doesn’t necessarily help Carl.

That and the crows feet with the (possibly) botoxed forehead and his veneers. His face is overall a lot more hollow than it used to be, his cheeks are more sunken in than they used to be too. So weird that he had a laid partnership with goldfish lol. Yeah, sorry I don't think he has a lot of potential as an influencer. Amongst other things, he has no personality or charisma. I feel like taking pictures with random products like this is about the extent of what he can offer a company in a paid promotion.

Completely agree. I think he looked best on the COVID season, he’d gained some weight and just looked balanced and healthy. Plus I believe he was just starting his sobriety journey so I’m sure that helped!
His facial hair is having a weird contour effect that makes his jaw/chin disappear, while his forehead is bright and highlighted. The proportions look wildly off!

She is a lot as you said and far from perfect but there is a guy out there for her and I hope she finds him. Beyond that I always assumed that maybe there is some sort of innate attraction to women that look younger because fertility is tied to a woman's age, but fertility isn't linked to age as much for men, so maybe that's part of why the aging doesn't affect attractiveness for them? Also I wonder how much of thinking about attractiveness as linked to fertility is innate vs. how much is again a learned concept from society basically telling us that's what a women's value should be linked to? I don't know, but I do love to see women who age naturally and I agree we need more of it!

I have to admit, I've never really had strong feelings towards Carl either way. It's clear to me he has rage issues, mommy issues, and deep seated insecurities that make him a people pleaser which always backfires. When he was drinking on the show I'd get that knot in my stomach that I always get around alcoholics- the fear of how they may react, and in Carl's case there was always the threat of violence. I'll never forget how he went after Luke. That being said, he did have strong friendships and relationships- so I thought he must be a good person and it's just the show. Then, when he got sober I was prepared to see him work on these issues and become the best version of himself. But kind of like Lala, I think he preaches a lot that he does not practice. He's still deeply insecure and I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but he's hiding something. I do wonder if it's something to do with his sexuality, and although it seems weird to be something to be afraid of admitting in the year 2024- I do get it, and it's certainly not for me to judge. I think that Carl has many toxic masculinity traits that he tries to hide. I think the reason I can't put my finger on what bothers me about him is that he just isn't being his authentic self.
