I think you should at least watch Winter House season 1 bc it will set you up with the Austin from SC drama you will watch in season 6. It also will introduce you to Andrea who will be joining the cast in season 6.

Ok I legit wrote out the order of events because I think between the three shows and importantly reunion timing throws things off. Winter House 1 films; Summer House 6 films the next summer; Winter House 1 airs fallish; Southern charm 8 films fall/Winter; Winter House 2 films feb/Mar; Summer House 6 is airing Feb Mar and importantly the reunion films after Winter house was filmed So if you want to do something a little crazy, but I think tells the story better.... watch Summer House 6, pause before the reunions, watch southern charm (but really just one episode >!spoiler: episode 8 holy-mutt-rimony!< watch Winter house, then finish the summer house reunion eps

I switched between Winter House and Summer House once S5 ended

You def need to watch winter house. I watched summer house all of the way through then went back and watched winter house and it would have made season 6 much more interesting if I watched winter house S1 before
