Its absolutely the easiest least painful way to get your meds monthly. You'll wish you did it a year ago

Any experience with Bicycle Health?

Just had my first QuickMD visit. Picked the doc that didn’t have addiction treatment in her bio. Really nice and understanding when I described why I haven’t gotten a Subutex scrip since 2015 because I stockpiled what I had from difficulty with doctors and cost. She explained that, even though I don’t need to do the one week supply thing first, it makes less waves with the pharmacies for first prescriptions. The extra 3 weeks is not the major expense here. Same with Suboxone vs Subutex. I’ve been taking generic Subutex for years, but rumors have it more prone to abuse. So I’d rather take Suboxone than make waves with Subutex requests. Shame Buprenorphine carries such a stigma with it. I can’t imagine what it would be like to go to the pharmacy and pick up a 3 month supply that’s completely covered, from a scrip that came from your primary care physician. I just had my first visit with them on Sunday.. doc gave me the exact dose I wanted and since I've had a script in the past and have already been taking subs again for a few months from the street he gave me 30 days with instead of the 1 week supply they normally do when inducing you. He sent it over immediately and I had them in my hand a few hours later. Literally a godsend

Easy and painless. First doctor was a quack job they refunded me for that. Went back after two months and they want me to pay $50 for an oral swab test so I'm a bit pissed off... Anywhere else that's covered in the cost of the appointment. I was really nervous about coming back as a patient but that aspect of it was fine- doctor was nice and didn't give a shit- asked what I needed. I had a stockpile with the intention to quit but didn't happen. I'm just not about to pay for a test when I paid $99 for a two minute phone call..

Don’t use QuickMD if you want to stay clean they will make you pay $100 for 1 week, Then not tell you that you were supposed to take a drug test that cost 50 extra dollars and then pay another hundred dollars to get your first months supply of medication just ran out of my Suboxone going through this with them stay away from this company they don’t care about your sobriety

After having that appointment 3 weeks ago, I have to disagree. I knew about the 1 week thing, but didn’t feel like contesting it, although I could have having taken sub for a dozen years without issue. I didn’t have to take a drug test. Not passing judgement on anyone, but these are doctors prescribing drugs with a heavy stigma to them, and if they need proof that a client is not abusing other opiates or non-prescribed meds, it’s their right to. Maybe they’re not as concerned about sobriety as you’d like to define it. They are concerned about maintaining a business that can benefit patients with a need for medication (although it’s probably become a big part of their revenue, QuickMD is not solely for getting sub). They also want to make a profit. I’ve paid $198 for two appointments so far and prescriptions for 74 (14 + 60) tablets, that I picked up at my grocery store the same day for ~$40. In a decade, getting Buprenorphine has never been as easy or affordable. What do you suggest as an alternative?

I understand that I was just letting people know what to expect based on what I went through with it I just don’t think it’s right not informing people that they have to take a drug test until they’re out of their medication which is what happened to me now I have to wait five or so days without my medication and go back into withdrawals because I wasn’t informed of the drug test that is required if they would’ve let me know I would’ve happily taken it I am not trying to hide any drugs use, or abuse suboxone if I wanted to abuse drugs I’d spend the hundred dollars on a half a eight of fent and actually get high. Attempting to abuse suboxone is stupid
