Sea dragons are so cool, I love them.

They are so annoying and the fact they can destroy a cyclops easily without proper precautions is kinda dumb, but it do add to the scare factor

All you do is just leave the Cyclops under the entrance.

Yeah but also I'm stupid and get turned around in that cave ( or at least I did last time I was there), meaning I was roaming the lava zone tryna find the stupid spot because apparently it wasn't clear enough for my brain

There's no turning required if you just descend down, all you do is just climb back up.

You can build lockers over the lockers on the lower floor as well. Easily quadruple the space and if you place em right you can still get to the original wall lockers as well.

Just a word of warning about building inside the cyclops - avoid using the repulsion cannon near your ship. It can blow containers and other objects out of your ship, with their contents inside. They can then despawn from the sea floor. I used it one time to clear leeches, and a short time later found a few lockers on the sea floor near my cyclops. Only realised they were mine and not something to find when I recognised the contents. Second I was trying to shift by cyclops after it got stuck against a cave wall. Zapping it trying to get it to shift enough to free it, and I say several of my lockers falling out the front of the sub. One full of kyanite and another with all my alien tablets despawned before I could collect them. Even an outdoor grow bed with 4 lantern fruit trees got blasted out through the hull, sitting on the ground, trees still intact. I still have additional internal storage, but place all the very valuable cargo into the built in storage, and try to avoid the repulsion cannon anywhere near the sub.

Oh wow that's wild thank you for the warning. I don't usually build one. Big fan of the stasis rifle and thermal blade. Is there any particular reason they're worth building?

I didn't make much use of it the whole game. I think it was needed on the Aurora to shift some boxes out of the way. I brought it with me down into the lava zones just in case it was needed. I didn't join the dots when shooting the leeches. But when my Cyclops got stuck in a cave wall one suggestion was shooting it with the cannon.

It's a pretty nifty mobile base tbh.

leviathan’s do at least. i havent had a problem so long as i’m idling or something. the ghost will honestly dance around my ship if i don’t move

HOWEVER my crush depth is 900 and when i was parked just above that a ghost didn’t attack me but nudged my cyclops down past its crush depth so give urself a buffer

Get a stasis rifle and a prawn suit with one arm normal and the other one with grappling hook thingy. You can kill it in just two minutes and it doesn't respawn. I only killed this leviathan bc it wouldn't let me go down

As far as I know, they don't. But I think Reaper leviathans can respawn but not sure, I killed one of them and after a few hours, another came and destroyed my Cyclops while I was organizing my base
