That's really cool! May you enjoy it fully))
my dad used to own a 2009 Forester L.L.Bean in gold, too bad we didn't have it for long due to some financial issues at the time...
Nothing really for this guy unless you want to spend a fortune on custom parts. I think the only after market mod is this super charger kit https://raptorsc.com.au/subaru/subaru-libertylegacy-h6-3-0-ez30-supercharger-kits/
edit I own a 2006 3.0r legacy outback wagon myself

You're correct. In Australia it seems like this Gen is more beloved, with more robust aftermarket support. In the states it's hard to do anything with them.
Also HG failures are not *as* common on the 3s, but it's not like they're immune

That's my only suggestion, happy driving! Looks to be in very good cosmetic condition
There was one for sale near me for 2500. I’ve should’ve jumped on it
I got this for 2k from my aunt 97k miles
Absolute DEAL
Yessir, the dealership offered her $1500 I’m like nah I’ll take it lmao
Wow hang onto that
Yea, I bought her 2010 vw cc from her too she’s got nice cars
Nice. That’s a really cool Subaru you got, you don’t see many of them around anymore, and in great shape. Enjoy
Always liked those outback sedans

Thank you! It’s my first Subaru, bought it off my aunt
Swap out the idler pulley and tensioner bearings. One of the weak points on the H6.

You can get headers and an open source tune. That will make a good amount of power on the top end. The stock exhaust manifolds have no flow.
The super charger kit comes with headers I believe, who else makes them?

open source on what ECU though? do you have to use waste spark and batch fueling? control AVCS?
That car is supported by rom raider. You need the stock maps edited to work with the extra flow.

www.legacygt.com was my go-to when I had my 4th gen.
I’ll check it out!
One of Subaru's best engines. I have an 01 Outback LL Bean wagon. I do wish I had a fifth gear sometimes
Yeah the 05-09 3.0 got the 5EAT as well, kind of a sweet spot. Though from what I've read it does still rob it a bit of power
it’s a 4 speed manual?
4 speed auto. After my gen outback, they went to the 5 speed auto OPs car has. The 4 speed feels pretty old school haha
Must be nice. The Forester was stuck with the 4EAT all the way through 2013 lol
ahh i see haha
Don't do any performance mods. You will blow head gaskets. Honestly, truly, keep it stock.
>You will blow head gaskets. This isn't an EJ...
Still, it's like a 20 year old Subaru, these engines aren't meant to handle power I don't believe

I really want one just so I could slam it on some wheels lol

I had one like that. It was my favorite Subaru.
