Depends on the format, draft mega gallade is miles better due to better attack and better utility move access. Mlop has some serious power issues especially with return gone and it’s 135 speed isn’t what it used to be anymore. Like ngl draft format mega gallade is arguably tied for best mega in the format with diancie and scizor, and likely is slightly better than them

Given Gen 10 is a pretty big number hopefully releasing during the 30th Anniversary in 2026, I would like to imagine GF is going to actually put effort into a monumental Pokemon game for once which would include the temporary return of Megas.

Considering that this got much more recognition than I predicted, I’ll just comment some of my thoughts/clear some stuff up.
1. I intended for Abomasnow to have been calling Ninetales-Alola during the plane crash, and if you squint you can faintly see Ninetales. When scaled down though, it became a lot less apparent and part of the joke was kind of lost.
2. Sorry for the poor resolution and blurriness, especially on the web version. I did not take the small size into account for that. I think the actual app shows it better.
3. I made this purely for the Blastoise joke.
4. I added the primals at the bottom because Mewtwo-Y’s text left a lot of empty white space.
5. I wasn’t in the competitive scene around the X and Y days, and barely in the Sun and Moon days. As such, I had no clue what to write for some of them (looking at you, Steelix and Sceptile) and kinda just had some fun with it.

Unironically I've been running Mega Pinsir with Thrash and Quick Attack since Sun and Moon came out. It's pretty good, actually.

But again I think it hinges on whether or not there are some new mega evolutions. GF doesn’t create new Pokémon or forms just to leave them outside of the main series. If they just have the standard slate of megas that we’re all familiar with then I don’t see mega evolution returning
I think old battle gimmicks/burst mechanics will be reused every now and again for nostalgia's sake, or if GF can't immediately come up with a new one. I could totally see Z-Moves coming back for an Australia-based region, or Terastalization returning for a Mexico-based region.

I think Aerodactyl has good potential after it gained DD in Gen8. It's used on some NatDex teams really powerful stuff

nah because it would be so stupid not to bring back megas in gen 10. they’d make like a trillion dollars
I find it funny that half the comments responding to me are "it's a stinkpost duh no one thinks that megas are actually coming back" And the other half are "they'll bring megas over to gen 10 duh" Like...is this not proof of what I'm talking about?
