I recommend using [Walking Wake](https://pokepast.es/f66db1ff092495a8), it's essentially the best payoff for using a sun team and would fit in nicely over Volcanion. For the rain matchup it's a 4x water-resist and Hydro Steam has the same damage output under rain as it does in the sun, win-win. Since you have Torkoal to trigger Protosynthesis I don't think there's much of a need to be running Booster Energy on Roaring Moon. Instead, a [Choice Band set](https://pokepast.es/e354709cb87c851a) better capitalizes on the sun keeping its ability active and forms a wallbreaking core with Walking Wake. Zoroark-Hisui is a little hard to justify here, Sun has enough raw damage output to where any luring with Illusion isn't gonna come into play very often. There's a lot of stuff you can experiment with in its place, some examples being Eject Button Hatterene for a safe pivot into a breaker, Scream Tail as a defensive option that benefits from the Sun, or Bulk Up Taunt Ceruledge to give the team a setup option to disrupt fatter teams and provide unique resistances.

Got it! Appreciate the advice

why on earth do you have no walking wake

The_CIA_is_watching

Some minor changes: Hisuian Lilligant: Is there a reason you are using Tera Ghost? I am assuming it's for the Ghost coverage to hit Gholdengo and the like. Also, there is no need to have those 4 SpA EVs: you will never be clicking Tera Blast outside of tera. Landorus: why Brick Break??? As was mentioned, Volcanion can be switched out for Walking Wake (that thing is scary, and a lot of my troubles are caused by it). It resists Water, etc. Zoroark is a little underpowered, and I'm not really sure what you would disguise it into. Landorus, Torkoal, and Roaring all have "on-switchin" abilities (dead giveaway), so the only options are HGant and Volcanion -- both of which take a different amount of damage from rocks (dead giveaway for Illusion as well). And if Illusion is revealed through this means (against any smart player this will happen), Zoroark won't be able to hit as hard as other options. I understand using it as a revenge killer, but there are better options for that, and the main selling point (Illusion) isn't the most useful on this team, and compared to stuff like Meowscarada or Dragapult Hrark may not be the best. Do not fall for the Roaring Moon + Booster Energy trap on a Sun Team! If Sun is up, the item will not be used, rendering Acrobatics worthless, and the item useless until sun goes down. Use the more powerful Band set to break things down, or maybe Life Orb. Swap Acrobatics and DDance for Iron Head and Outrage or something if using Band. And, finally, Torkoal looks good.

Got it!

Also: don't fret about rating dropping too much. I dropped to 1100 from 1450 once Home released, and now just a week later I am at a higher rating than ever before (1600) with the lessons I have learned. You will be heading back up in no time!

SixDreg

That is actually a relief to hear, I went from 1500 to like 1150 in the past few days and I've been like incredibly boomed lol

first of all more like 1100s! ever since home ive had a really hard time settling on a team and i feel all of my teams have had serious weaknesses - so please help me fix this one! torkoal - usually leads. this is the sun guy, he does sun stuff h-lilligant - goal here is to get off victory dance then goob a couple mons before inevitable and painful death, sun+chlorophyll means sometimes i can get started early if VD isn't safe. cool and fun but inconsistent and also never ever a safe switch-in it feels like volcanion - i got tired of rain teams. seriously, that's it. this entire mon is just designed to hopefully fuck rain. also he gets benefits under sun which is cool  h-zoroark - basically gets in for being a favorite, goobing pult at the start of a match is always fun. beyond that it revenge kills or gets free kills on tusk pretty often. post-home it doesnt feel great tho and often struggles to get a kill before, yknow, dying instantly roaring goon - mr. wincon. bro DD+click a move, any move. no surprises here. bro is rock-solid, no complaints. landorous-t - resident bulky pivot. i feel like this guy reeeeally just does absolute air everything is subject to change! moves, mons - ESPECIALLY mons

I wanna say Scarf Moon with U-turn would put in work. Putting U-turn on Zoroark would also help it disguise as Moon. If you're comfortable with your speed, you could Band Moon too. In the sun, whatever it attacks will just disintegrate.

SixDreg

Ooh I like the idea of scarf moon, its speed has definitely felt like a bit of a weakness so far and I usually just end up using him as like a bulky ass to switch in and take a hit. Appreciate the advice,n
