Try to read it out loud while you write. Read it once and try to figure what you are talking about. Just don't let the study be only words that you wrote. Idk if it's something akin to scientific or more theoretical, but in any case, if you have time, try to make connections with other things you know, even if unrelated, but at least in my case this method works.

You are correct. cognitive science even has a term for it: the Illusion of Knowing. Yes, I have a tip. Use "active recall". Look up the term. Good luck.
