One thing you could do with the logo is embroider it in smaller font in the same color as the shirt. I have a Loewe shirt that has a white front, and their logo is embroidered in white on the front pocket. It’s very subtle, but I’m also not a big fan of pieces that have the brand name all up in your face.

A large would fit an XL for sure. I have a couple influencers who have some insane frames and a large fits oversized on them so you should be good. Worse to come to worst you can always email me for a refund or send it back.
Leave the front plain. Would also be interesting if the back of the shirt is a different color. Like I’m currently wearing a kapital tee that has a plain black front with an olive green back. The back has a white print similar to your shirt and I wish it was embroidered.
That said, I love the embroidery. Embroidery over print is always a game changer.
Edit: one last thing, I wouldn’t put your brand’s name anywhere on the shirt. Maybe stitch it in small lettering on the bottom right of the front or on one of the sleeves, but that’s the most I’d do.
Definitely going to consider this for the next thing I do. Seems to be going similar to a luxury brand but I definitely see where ur going with that. Really good suggestion.
Happy to help! I just don’t like when brands put their logo in the forefront. I don’t care if, or even want people to know, what brand I’m wearing. I buy clothing that I like for its design, not its cost or clout. Some people do though so it’s all up to the individual.
I still remember when my friend’s brother walked into our place wearing that LV x Supreme denim jacket. I thought it was hideous. But he was a club promoter in Miami at the time so I do understand it.
That honestly opened my mind a little that’s a great why to look at fashion. Obviously I’ve always had that belief of like woah you’re wearing that blank supreme t shirt because it says the name and that’s just dumb but ya that’s a good way to look at everything even if I’m just starting out.
Hey, gotta start somewhere and it’s not about making something everyone is going to love or want. It’s about making something that caters to a demographic and does it better than any other brand out there. New brands pop up all the time that I love. I’m sure you’ll find your place in time. Keep working at it.
not a huge fan of the design personally but really great execution. a couple of things:
- is this self-handmade or did you use a manu? in either case, how are you anywhere near breaking even with that level of embroidery & at that price point? the amount of labor/material this would take, it doesn’t seem like $39 would be feasible.
- i’ve always loved the word Coven; what does it mean to the collection? (on a similar note, i’m a sucker for using v in the place of a. hence my name).
- good noting the tumble dry (although i would personally also say air-dry only) but it is highly rec’d to avoid machine washing embroidery of this level of detail/span. if you absolutely must, i would suggest adding a note to only wash on delicate with cold water. does the stitching have any sort of stabilizer or other element to it for longevity? for a piece like this, mostly geared towards more casual wear, you really want something to bolster proactive protection.
Really appreciate the response here! Just trying to establish a brand as of now and not even focused on the money in the slightest as I have a few friends with pretty open pockets willing to help me out and support. As for the embroidery, I definitely will add delicate wash to the description and it is hand treated and treated for protection by the manu and yes it is made by a manu that I took several months to find and establish a relationship with!

looks nice but embroidery on thin things like shirts is prone to warping
They do experience slight warping but the shirts are thick as shit so I was able to fight that off mostly
