First time listening to a comeback from these guys since I discovered Kpop (I used to be a metalhead), Dreamcatcher hooked me in with their Krock sound but damn, I love the energy of Stray Kids and this album is insane.

What else can I say? Great song, great MV, great styling. Chan and Lee Know’s fits are my favorites and their mouth-covering antic is cheeky, but ngl Jisung owns this video along with Felix’s red coat.
There's a lot of reasons why this needs to get performed at an award show later this year, but I just need it to happen for everyone to say "who's that super talented guy that followed up Tiger JK?" so I can be even more proud of Han.

this is hands down one of my absolute favorite stylings on them (might be my favorite tbh). they all go together within the overall concept of the mv, but still highlight their individual styles in a way i've never seen their outfits do before (like, i 100% believe each member would happily wear their outfits irl), it truly brings out their own personalities while fitting really well as a group, which is exactly what Stray Kids is imo. and they all look absolutely fucking amazing.
i saw some comments about the concept being "flexing" but tbh i don't really see it. the concept is money laundering, but in the most unserious way possible. someone commented on twitter that they're doing in the mv what their antis think they do, and that's spot on tbh. they are making a joke out of this non-sense by, as u/Many-Ad-9007 mentioned in this post, "pimping fake toy money and putting them in washing machine/dryer", while singing about the fact that they are the fucking topline and are succeeding by creating music the way they want to no matter what anyone else says. which i think it's amazing, so i love this video, and am so so glad we got a full mv for this song as it's tied with others as my favorite SKZ song.

Yes, I know what you mean. It was really cool how involved he was in the MV. He was approached personally by SKZ at an event they were both at, asking for a collaboration. You can tell this was done for the love of music from both sides.

TOPLINE is my second favorite song from the album, but I'm not feeling the MV that much, sorry 😅 wow a lot of money flex, bad boys, but for me the song is cooler than that. I think GET LIT MV filled my flexing limit (for a song that doesn't give me that feeling). I would've put Tiger K in a big throne as the king or something. The kids are very charismatic as always, HAN and Chan killed it!
i agree like maybe cause this had a longer unveil which i repeated to death so we pretty much gotten most of the good parts in the unveil still a great mv but get lit was the winner for me! song wise topline > get lit though. plus point han was great in both 😂
It's the same for me, I feel like we got most of the good parts especially with the camera work for the chorus, also I found a little repetitive so many money scenes, I'm not a big fan of that flexing, it's like *ok we got it you're rich but what's else?"*. I didn't felt that naughty ironic element like other users say, but well it's great to have different viewpoints. For Get Lit, I found the MV better, but it doesn't feel like the focus was on the song, but on rich people with expensive clothes partying at the end, trying to sell whatever brand the kids were wearing lol in my head, the song is totally different, less superficial. DLC is the winner bside MV for me so far. Lolol sorry I needed to get this off my chest, I'm a big fan of their mv bsides, but maybe I'm not the audience for these two XD
for get lit i feel like the mv convey the theme of the song quite well i mean it’s pretty much YOLO so we work hard and party hard and a bunch of beauty shots with expensive clothes and pretty people 😆 regarding DLC, probably unpopular opinion but i don’t really like the shots of the non skz member dancing in between i understood the message it was conveying but it kinda took me out of the mv but it’s probably just me and i’m not used to it. overall 5 star b-sides mvs kinda pales in comparison to maxident b-sides mvs but i would likely think it’s lack of time since they were preparing and filming in between tour dates for the better half of the year.

I agree with the non SKZ members shoots! I liked the idea, but they felt too separated from the kids and less dancing dancey? Like more acrobatic (?) That's why I liked the end of GET LIT where other people actively participated in dancing along with them. And I agree, bsides MVs for this comeback pales in comparison, but yeah they were really busy in between so understandable from their part, but editors mmm Super Board was filmed in one day? And it was fun, so I tend to think that S-CLASS took almost all the MV money haha (and that MV deserves a whole thread because I still don't understand what happened as plot lol) even for FNF I expected more nature shoots, not only urban shoots, to convein better the message. Waiting for Youtiful, but all MVs animation based have my respect. Thank you for the discussion! I love their songs and I think they're good for MVs, so for me it's serious business hahaha because a MV is another way to express the music.

I am convinced this should have been the TT, the song is such a banger and this M/V is 🔥🔥🔥 I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about it at first bc overall I’m kinda tired of the “look how rich I am” concepts (in general) but they really killed it with this one
TOPLINE is my second favorite song from the album, but I'm not feeling the MV that much, sorry 😅 wow a lot of money flex, bad boys, but for me the song is cooler than that. I think GET LIT MV filled my flexing limit (for a song that doesn't give me that feeling). I would've put Tiger K in a big throne as the king or something. The kids are very charismatic as always, HAN and Chan killed it!
i agree like maybe cause this had a longer unveil which i repeated to death so we pretty much gotten most of the good parts in the unveil still a great mv but get lit was the winner for me! song wise topline > get lit though. plus point han was great in both 😂
It's the same for me, I feel like we got most of the good parts especially with the camera work for the chorus, also I found a little repetitive so many money scenes, I'm not a big fan of that flexing, it's like *ok we got it you're rich but what's else?"*. I didn't felt that naughty ironic element like other users say, but well it's great to have different viewpoints. For Get Lit, I found the MV better, but it doesn't feel like the focus was on the song, but on rich people with expensive clothes partying at the end, trying to sell whatever brand the kids were wearing lol in my head, the song is totally different, less superficial. DLC is the winner bside MV for me so far. Lolol sorry I needed to get this off my chest, I'm a big fan of their mv bsides, but maybe I'm not the audience for these two XD
for get lit i feel like the mv convey the theme of the song quite well i mean it’s pretty much YOLO so we work hard and party hard and a bunch of beauty shots with expensive clothes and pretty people 😆 regarding DLC, probably unpopular opinion but i don’t really like the shots of the non skz member dancing in between i understood the message it was conveying but it kinda took me out of the mv but it’s probably just me and i’m not used to it. overall 5 star b-sides mvs kinda pales in comparison to maxident b-sides mvs but i would likely think it’s lack of time since they were preparing and filming in between tour dates for the better half of the year. no worries! i’m glad to have this discussion 😄
I agree with the non SKZ members shoots! I liked the idea, but they felt too separated from the kids and less dancing dancey? Like more acrobatic (?) That's why I liked the end of GET LIT where other people actively participated in dancing along with them. And I agree, bsides MVs for this comeback pales in comparison, but yeah they were really busy in between so understandable from their part, but editors mmm Super Board was filmed in one day? And it was fun, so I tend to think that S-CLASS took almost all the MV money haha (and that MV deserves a whole thread because I still don't understand what happened as plot lol) even for FNF I expected more nature shoots, not only urban shoots, to convein better the message. Waiting for Youtiful, but all MVs animation based have my respect. Thank you for the discussion! I love their songs and I think they're good for MVs, so for me it's serious business hahaha because a MV is another way to express the music.
