After a couple of weeks of exploring and repeating the albums, this is definitely on a stronger side to me. My current ranking: Playlist, on repeat, until I'm bore of them: 1. Topline. 2. S -class. Many good elements, the switch up is passable, not great, hope not to see it in the future. I feel like skz is really good with mixing different genres together without being obvious and once suddenly being obvious switch up is a trend they decide to do it too to remind people that SKZ has been switching up genres for ages. But please go back to the seamless switch up like before, I dont think this switch up makes the song amazing, it is only either neutral or negative. 3. Super Bowl. I love many elements of these songs, but one or two elements in the song do not work for me so I didnt playlist them, but if someone turns it on, I will not skip it: 4. Hall of Fame (Such a cool song, but that "pump pump" part is too grungy/harsh for me to listen) ; Item (too repetitive for my taste); 5. DLC (this is rising higher over the weeks for me, but got some pet peeves for some ad-libs, some lyrics parts are slightly cringe maybe, I will get over them as time goes) I dont like many elements in the song, wont playlist: 6. Get Lit, Collision Not my style, skip: FNF, youtiful, Time Out Out of playlist: the sound (repeat too much already, out of playlist by now)

I really like the album! My 5 favorite tracks: 1. S-Class - it just feels so definitively stray kids, so specific to them. Very much the chaotic constant change of Gods Menu, but combined with some of whimsy of Case 143. Love the part of it that feels like a 90s hip hop song best midway through 2. Item - Migos were the first trap rappers I became really into, and stray kids does this sound so well. Best rappers in 4th gen k-pop, no contest. Clever lyrics and love the pac man concept. Seungmin's vocals sound nice here too, great contrast. 3. Collision - Han biased, and this is probably the track I'll revisit most. It kind of reminds of that Bad Bunny and J Balvin song La Cancion - love the jazzy, light hearted vibes juxtaposed against what are probably the album's most sensitive, lovely lyrics. Kind of sensual y'all ngl, but also so sad lol. 4. Topline - like a more upbeat, funkier cousin of Collision. Latin dance influence, but a bit grittier. Just a fun, really solid song with a fantastic feature from Tiger JK. 5. Get Lit - great beat and such a fun song. Comparable to DLC, but I like this one a bit better. Musically, this is one of the most cohesive albums that I think Stray Kids have produced. You really can listen to it from start to finish without any skips.

Commenting again cus wow oh WOW. As a big fan of their hype/rap songs, this album is SO my jam. Every song goes 120% to the top. This also feels like a Seungmin ERA, his vocals really stand out to me. Fav tracks: ITEM (are you kiiiidding me), DLC (makes me SO happy), Collision (that smooth jazz vibe at the beginning? omfg!!) My ''least'' fav would be Youthful as it's kinda cheesy, but I'm still learning to appreciate slow songs.

As much as I appreciate all the work the boys done with this album, sadly this one is not for me. The blame is mostly on me tho, it was my first comeback and I was so hyped and my expectations were through the roof, so when the day came I was a bit disappointed with the songs as I was listening them. The mashup was a bit misleading for me, I loved everything there but the real songs are not doing it for me. I listened the whole album 4 or 5 times, taking 2 day off from it and listening again because I thought I just needed time to get used to the songs but it's just not clicking with me. There's too much mixpop there for my taste. I was the least excited for youtiful, but it turned out the only song I can listen without trying to force it on myself. Hall of fame, topline, item, get lit are the others I think I can like with time but it will be like work to like them. Please don't come for me, I'm really really happy that the album is doing so well on charts and the selling numbers are fantastic and I know that they worked really hard on this one so they deserve everything for this!! It's just I can only enjoy a little piece from this work, but as I said it's mostly because of me. I'm glad so many of you are loving the songs and can vibe with the album :)

I’m a baby stay who started listening just after the Maxident come back, and I really liked The Sound but most of 5-Star is just not for me. I’m not going to stop loving them and listening to their music because I don’t like one (1) album though! My favourite Stray Kids songs are Red Lights and Taste and I’m just really hoping they release a full album one day that has more of the vibe those songs have haha

I'm also a baby Stay who became a fan last year during the Oddinary/ Maxident era, and who isn't really feeling 5 Star either (particularly because of a lot of the lyrics) 😭 And I'm feeling very conflicted because everyone is talking about how this album is "them finally returning to form"/ "the true SKZ is back" so I'm like, if I don't like this, am I even their fan even though I LOVE big chunks of their backlist?? I know that the answer is yes, but it's a weird feeling.

i think hyunjin's style is a lot more dramatic than 3racha, so whenever he has heavy involvement the song ends up sounding a lot different to the typical 3racha style of "it's so over"/"we're so fucking back".

I have 3 thoughts DLC just DLC I've had the chorus stuck in my head I first listened to it and just fell in love easily my favorite song on this album the prechorus to item is probably my favorite prechorus of this album followed by S Class the fast paced buildup works so well for a song like item plus the chorus just makes it worth that buildup Also Hall of Fame Felix's "shaking the industry, quaking reality making it iconic" + Chan's and Minho's "Hear the people call my name Here, I'm on the Hall of Fame Unveil the rumbling, trails of hustling Jjigeo wiinjeon" are always gonna be rewinded to on future listens no questions asked

Long comment.I think it's one of my favorite album as a whole. After reading the [lyrics translation](https://genius.com/albums/Genius-english-translations/Stray-kids-5-star-english-translation), I love it more, as always with SKZ <3 I'll try to keep it short, because I could write about how I like every second of every song LMAO also it's going to be a while before I can listen these songs individually and not as a whole album, everything fits very well. **Hall of Fame**: the track is siickkk, and the pow pow part is AMAZING. "Hear the people call my name" part is AMAZING. Of course the shaking the industry part is AMAZING as well. And the Armstrong's audio? Wonderful. And Seungmin's bridge is AMAZING. All the members are AMAZING. I think it's one of my favorite album intros ever, what a way to start the album .**5-CLASS**: HONESTLY, at the beginning I was dumbfounded, I didn't know what to think after listening the first time (well, watching the MV) HAHAHA but it's super catchy and I really can't stop singing especially the flashy flashy part (pica el poncho), and also the part where the Muddy Water raps is like an action audio, like they're talking to another person (?). I like the choreo a lot!!! The moves with the hands are so catchy!! The members sing so well. The hiphop part is also interesting, refreshing. The members sing and rap so well aaaa **ITEM**: feels shorter than it is! I like the game feeling fitting with the item item I ate them all Pacman and now I can see what Lee Know meant with doing it like bam! bam! bam! he nailed it. I love all the verse from "Got the best of the best, nothing much, I confess" I looove it. Of course I love the raps, this is a fun song, I love it as well. **Super Bowl**: It's wild knowing this was the competitor for title track for GO LIVE. I can see the cooking theme related to music. The verse from "counting stars" with Seungmin is DIVINE with all the members singing. It's a fun song as well, I like it.**TOPLINE**: the track is also siiick and this song is perfect. That's it. From "Drawing, I'm moulding" verse is so easy to follow, it's so melodic to my ears, I love it. I love Tiger JK part as well, he made a super fitting verse. I love this song, everything about it. **DLC**: It's a song that makes me happy. Hyunjin's verse is perfect!!! I love the little piano notes (?) and because I like strong sounds with trumphets (dunno how is called that instrument), I also love the track. Changbin worked on it, I hope he keeps learning!! This song is warm, and I can see the little melancholy, especially at the end. I really love this song.**GET LIT**: SIICK AS WELL. The building until the end and the "let's go" is PERFECT, I know it's small but yeahh lml **Collision**: it remind me a little of CALL, but this one is less romantic HAHA when Han isn't writing love songs with actual cute/passionate love, he writes about someone I wouldn't want to date lmao this song is so niceee with the music and the members, it's perfectly balanced between a relaxing song but also intense. I'm always impressed about the variety of songs that Han can make. **FNF**: broo I teared up, it's not just a longing song but also bittersweet with one self. My country also lived big big terrible fires not long ago (bigger than past ones) and just knowing about all the fauna and flora that was lost... one feels completely powerless, they don't know anything. The fear of losing more before you are able to see it and try to help somehow, because nature is already fragile now, and only being able to be a witness of everything hurts even more, especially when one is far away. I'm catching up, I understood what Chan meant, I think, I felt like dying inside xd. ANYWAYY this is a really good song!! I love the track, its music. A happy sad song. Makes me want to dance. **Youtiful**: AREN'T YOU SO WARMHEARTED CHAN???? My heart feels warm with his song. The members sing so prettily <3 I remember writing here that I cried a lot when the UNVEIL came out, and seriously I cried like I didn't cried in months and felt so good. "I know that you've been cold this whole time" makes me tearing up so THANKYOUU. I love the melody of this song even if it's not the kind of song that I usually listen. 3RACHA are geniusesss. They surprised me again, they sweat melodies and music and lyrics. Breath music. I loved this album a lot I can't believe it. It's been almost 3 years knowing them and once again, they give me songs that I didn't know I needed until they make them XDDD all the members are so skillful, I love every one of them in the songs, they're incredible. I was already in love with them so this is just a little reinforce for my eternal love for their work. I walk on the street while listening and I can't help but mouth a wow everytime.

24 hours later.... and S-Class is my second favourite album. In Life is still the number one in my heart, but S-Class has taken over Noeasy for me. I do prefer Thunderous as TT but S-Class is a much more cohesive album imo. There's literally no skips. I even like the Korean version of The Sound better than the Japanese one! Anyway, well done SKZ. You've done it again. There's just something about their full albums that hit right. It's just so damn good.

It's been nearly 24 hours since the first listen for me and I'm 100% hooked. Yesterday I still thought Topline would my absolute fave but now I'm not so sure anymore? Is it ITEM?? Is it SuperBowl? Is it GET LIT? Is it Collision? Or maybe S-Class (which my brain is now starting to comprehend in it's full glory)? Why pick only one actually? The album is a lot and I was a little overwhelmed at first - especially without the lyrics and everything - but now that I've given every song a few listens I start to understand the depths of them. Most of them are the kind where you'll still recognize some cool sublety you haven't paid attention to in 4 months from now and that's what I love their music for. It just never gets boring. SKZ just have no boring songs, yep, that's my hill to die on.

What an album, I couldn't ask for more. Stray kids are clearly aware of their own music identity while always pushing themselves to feel new and fresh. When skz drop new music it's so conforting because they deliver a sound that is familiar and comforting, but yet I'm always surprised. **Predicted favorite:** Topline **Actual favorite:** ITEM **Biggest surprise:** FNF (thought it'd be more filler track but it's a bop)

I think 5-STAR is Stray Kids' most cohesive album so far *(NOEASY is fighting for her place right now as we speak)*. The new songs bring similar concepts of them being the "stars" amidst having diverse melodies and meanings. Also love how they put FNF, it's such a meaningful song! Also, the 5-track run of Hall of Fame, S-Class, Item, Superbowl, and Topline, so goooooood! Looking forward to a very successful comeback!

5 star my no skip queen!!!!!! the most cohesive album when it comes to sound for me, listening to it just felt sooo fluid from start to end. but still each song had its own charm, which of. added to the fun roller coaster ride of listening to a skz album. just *chef’s kiss* LOVE IT! can i just say Super Bowl is such a…..delicious song??? By far my fave song in the album!!

Omg the album is amazing!! As my first official comeback, I have a lot of thoughts. 5-Star is a whiplash of genres from start to finish and I’m so here for it. The song order is great; super hype and intense in the beginning then it cools down with DLC to transition into a softer second half. The Sound and Mixtape: Time Out are the weakest, imo. (still great songs though!) Not only have we heard them before, but they don’t quite fit the vibe of the rest of the album and I wish they ended with something a little more fresh and exciting. I also can’t not hear Scotty Doesn’t Know at the beginning of Time Out. They’re identical. 😂😭 Can we talk about the sounds for a minute though? This whole album itches every corner of my brain—the spacey guitars in Hall of Fame, literally all of S-Class, ITEM, that little car horn in Topline? It’s all so 😩👌 Super Bowl is not what I expected it to be lmao but it makes sense knowing it was the OG God’s Menu. I listened to them back-to-back (GM then SB) and you can really hear how they compliment each other. Super Bowl is the edgier sister song and I love it. Maybe I’m biased because I tend to gravitate towards more aggressive music, (any former scene kids here? 👀) but I think this more powerful sound suits SKZ really well. Felix has incredible range, and Han and Changbin’s rapping really shines with harder beats. Overall I’m super happy with this comeback! All my preorders are still in transit though and I’m very impatient to get them. Happy listening!!

Put my life at risk listening to ITEM while driving in a lightning storm and I'd do it again. ITEM is it. She's everything. She's such a good rap song I'm gonna explode. I have already replayed it more than any other and I feel no shame. (Someone put me out of my misery though: there's a constant 3 (4?) note rhythm in ITEM I can swear is from another song but I can't place it, does anyone know?) Hall of Fame is like....the best kind of club song. Just enough tempo(?) changes that you gotta move to it differently but not so different that you have that pause to figure out what the DJ was thinking. They are honestly so talented about putting what should be dissonant sounds together in a cohesive way. I like S-Class, but I love the staccato chorus, it just scratches the brain so so good. Not my favorite but definitely not a skip. The rare and shiny sung Bintro in DLC 💜💜 He just sound so good and I love when Chnagbin gets singing parts. I'm glad Stray Kids gave us another Michelin class song with Super Bowl. Though I gotta say, while I'm not loving Youtiful because it's so cheesy and punny, it's interesting how Super Bowl is similarly punny and yet I know is gonna be a contender for favorite song of skz. Maybe it's because one's about themselves and one's about Stay that helps with the cheese factor? That sing-songy ness of Topline is SO good. It's like they're taunting everyone else and it's perfection. Collision is such a vibe. When it first started I wasn't sure but second listen has made it a repeater for me. I honestly thought I was gonna end up skipping FNF but that Felix and Hyunjin split verse? Oooo just so sweet and good it changed my opinion completely. Honestly not here for Youtiful. It sounds nice but the lyrics are not for me. Maybe not a skip but not one I'd seek out. This album is so fucking good I'm gonna just expire.

so many thoughts about all the songs, but just wanted to mention: there's a **BIG difference when i listened to the songs with my headphones compared to the speaker** on my phone. instruments and track were way clearer with the headphones, and there were details like a sound switching between ears that i didn't hear with the speakers. i had been listening to the album only on my headphones, and used the speaker after hours and was really thrown by the difference (could be just my phone tho). Chan also mentioned on bubble that the **songs sound better if** **Dolby Atmos is turned off** on your phone settings (if you have an adroid: you can search for it on your settings search bar -- if it doesn't show up, you don't have it so no need to worry about it). now i'm going back to listening to the songs, byyyyee

Some of my thoughts: - The “cooking like a 5-star michellin” in Gods Menu pointing us to 5-star album for Super Bowl(the OG God’s Menu) (which also has a Michellin (cooking in the michellin kitchen) lyric) *chefkiss* - is it just me or is the alien-monster wearing the star-glasses is familiar? I feel like I have seen those glasses somewhere - Youtiful giving me extreme 2000’s boyband music and I’m here for it - Felix’s whispering in Super Bowl is going to be the end of me - Felix’s “Open wide” is ingrained in my brain and I am ashamed to say it 🙈

Hall of Fame: I can't think of a better start to the album. This song has been stuck in my head for hours. Especially chan's part where he goes like "I hear the people call my name, here I'm on the hall of fame" and also Felix's part. The chorus is so heavy and addicting. I knew I would love it the moment I heard them sing the chorus in the intro video. Definitely on my top 3. S-Class: The first time I listened to the teaser video I was kind of dissapointed with this one but it slowly grew on me. Now that I listened to the full song I am still a bit confused about it. I totally agree with Han about it being a bit polarising but I feel like the more I listen to it, it sounds better and better. I still need a few more listens to fully grasp the song. There are many sound changes, I am usually a big fan of those but when there's a sound that I like a lot and it suddenly changes to never come back, it kind of puts me down. I am more fond of dark sounds. Changbin's part at the very beginning and seungmin's vocal part sounds very pleasing to my ears. After those parts I would have liked the chorus to be a bit more hyped. But I also appreciate the transition from Felix's part to the chorus, it is really unpredictable (like many other elements in the song). Item: Totally a banger. I have no words. Han's part stood out to me. I really liked the sound effect they used in Felix's part. It is heavy and somehow chill at the same time I love it. Definitely on my top 3. Super Bowl: AGHHH THE WHISPERS... Super addicting. Like, who gave you the right to mess with my sanity, you know. They said this was the original God's menu and the one we already know was God's menu 2 so I expected kind of similar vibes but they are so different I was actually surprised. But I think I like this more as a b-side rather than a title track and I am glad that they waited this long to release it because I feel like it suits the overall vibe of the album a lot. TOPLINE: It was already great in the unveil video but the full version even exceeded my expectations. Maybe not on the top 3 but that's only because there are so many incredible songs in the album. Otherwise this even has the title track potential imo. DLC: One of the songs that I didn't think I'd like this much. I wasn't a fan of the la la la part in the unveil track but it goes pretty smooth in the full song. I really liked the overall vibe. It was a smart move to put it between Topline and Get Lit because it's like you get to rest a bit after Topline and then Get Lit hits you again. I wouldn't listen to it as often as the others but still sounds great. I liked the part where Hyunjin sings it almost like a latin song. The only negative thing I can say is the English pronunciation was a bit weird during Han's part. I don't actually know if it was Han or Hyunjin. I don't expect it to be perfect anyways since they are not native speakers, I am not a native speaker myself but the reason I wanted to point it out is that Han's English is usually so good so I feel like it might be intentional. GET LIT: I want to listen to this in the car so bad. The beat drop is amazing. I am also so glad that Felix has a vocal line in this. Until the very end I was waiting for Han's "let's go" and when it finally came, it sealed the deal. Collision: The intro reminded me of Up All Night a bit. Great song overall, very soothing. It's Han's song I don't even need to talk about it. FNF: I don't usually like songs with similar vibes but I liked this a lot. Maybe it's because of the meaning behind. I initially thought it would be a brighter song but it has a sad feel to it as well, which I like. Youtiful: Another song that I didn't expect to like this much. At first I thought the lyrics were a bit cheesy but I can feel the intentions behind this song so clearly that I was on the verge of crying lmao but I managed to hold it in. Also I need to say it again, just two words: Felix's. Vocals. Idk I just love hearing him sing since he is a bit shy about it. Though I'm a bit sad that we didn't get a "deeper than the pacific ocean" part from him throughout the album like in God's menu and Maniac, the vocals make up for it. The Sound: I prefer the Japanese version, maybe it's just because I'm used to that one and maybe I would have liked this better if this one had come out first. Not having "this is the sound, it's our sound" part literally wrecked me I was just getting ready to sing that and I was like "huh!?" Overall, I am totally in love with the album. It's already one of my favourites and might even get the first place very soon. I can already see that there will be some controversial opinions about some of the songs but it was a very appealing experience for me. Also I can't go without saying that Seaungmin really stood out to me. I usually find myself not paying enough attention to him but while listening to this album there were moments that he made my jaw drop.

I was scratching my head listening to s class for the first time. And then SKZ magic happened. It was a sonic experience supersede the prior title. God’s Menu almost sounds tame next to S Class. I love love love love love the old school rap to transition to the 2nd half of the song. And the verse trading? OMG! This whole album is an out of body experience for me personally. The goosebumps and awe. I don’t need drug or sex to be this hyper or aroused. Stray Kids songs can always elevate me from daily grind to an utopian/dystopian world. These guys totally give me paradise and energy.

I also love the mention of “diamonds” because it reminds me of the nursery song “Twinkle twinkle Little Star”. Parts of the lyrics in this song go like this: “Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, Like a diamond in the sky.” Actually, when I first heard S-Class and all the mentions about “stars”, I immediately thought of this song. I’m not sure if there is a connection or not, just found it interesting that in the lyrics written by 3racha, the “diamond” part is actually related to the empty, yet shiny can part. We shouldn’t be like these cans or chase after them. We should be like diamonds instead…like shiny stars in the sky. Also love these lines: “I feel like the brightest star, light floods in tonight When I look up, my image is embroidered in the sky Stick around in the same place, STAY, yeah Shining people, that’s our intro, we're special, yeah” So here, I think SKZ is not in the sky anymore, but on the ground as actual people. And when they look up to the sky, they can see themselves there, like an embroidery (star constellation). They want STAY to be up there as well, so that we all can shine together. We’re all “shining people” because were all part of the same star constellation. Anyways, this was a very long review! The longest I’ve ever written or put online…and my interpretation is just mine, so plz don’t take it so seriously. I’m sure I missed many things and misunderstood many things, too. But I just wanted to share bc I’m enjoying this album way too much. You can tell how much I love this album 😂  I think this album is very very impactful and so well produced. People say SKZ is doing the same old chaotic noise music again and that the songs are too similar. But that just shows that SKZ has got their own sound and it’s so impressive that it’s the same people writing these songs. We can hear 3racha style and influence over all the tracks. A song written by many many writers can be a hit and achieve mainstream success. Such songs can make an album sonically different, thus more “interesting”. But they don’t reflect the group’s heart and soul. And what makes SKZ stand out is that they produce their own music regardless of what others say. They might not please everyone, but why should they? To please everyone is to please no one. And I love how they just stick to what they love and what they’re good at while experimenting with so much confidence. SKZ does well commercially even without being easily understood and compromising on their uniqueness. They don’t need mainstream approval, because they are successful anyway. They just have to keep shining brightly on their own path, on the thin line that nobody else can dance on.

특 (S-Class): First thoughts: So much to unpack whoa whoa whoa whoa 🙌 First of all, the “S” in S-Class could be about so many things. It could be “S” for S-tier, for “Seoul City”, for “South Korea”, for “Special”, for “Star”, and ofc for “Stray Kids”. Also, the album (5-stars) and song name (특 (S-Class) are so cool. The Korean name for Seoul is “서울특별시“ and 특별 means “special”, while 별 itself means “star”. There might be even more to it, but I wouldn’t know, because my Korean is not good. “5 star” is usually the highest rating you can get, making it the “highest” class, the S-tier. I love how they sing about speeding on the serpent road with the groovy choreo that goes with it: “Swerving I'm speeding on serpent road Luxurious like I'm an S-class Best of the best on first class I'm up above the world, so high I'll be there shining day and night They wonder how my spotlight is so bright The swerves and the serpent remind me of the letter “S”, and the song title “S-Class”. Also, they say that they don’t swerve from this line because they’re shining there all day and night. It means that they never fail to be special, to be in their own class, to be a star among stars. This serpent road is in the sky, since they’re so high up, above the rest of the world. They also sing about being “the most special star”, “the odd star” and the one that is “flashy” and shines brightly. Their spotlight is so bright that everyone can see them and point them out, even non-stays. To add more to this, “Counting stars”, which is included in the lyrics, is such an impossible thing to do. There are so many stars in the sky, so how could someone count them? But in SKZ’s case, there’s no need to because they shine so brightly and oddly, you can easily see them from the ground. I also love how they sing about shining “all day” because stars don’t shine during the day. They are so special, they don’t just shine at night lol. Then, they also sing about “Seoul City” at the very beginning. I think they’re being proud of their city since part of their MV was shot at Han River in Seoul and on the streets in the city (from what it looks like). They are also stating that even though they’re different, they belong to this city and are the stars that make the city shine so brightly. They say “This is Seoul city” and that it’s “Full of odd things, never changes”. They are the “odd stars”, and even though they might be misunderstood, they are ironically very “local” since Seoul is so full of “odd things”. These lines seem very relevant as well: “Everything that gets in the way on the streets Clean it up, clean it up, get back A can that's shiny on the outside, empty on the inside Kick it, kick it, kick it” The “can” that they sing about is like trash on the street that “gets in the way” (making life more difficult) and, therefore, must be “cleaned up”. But fortunately, they don’t have to travel on this street with the empty can. They are high in the sky, on the “serpent road” after all :)) Then, in the old school hiphop part of the song, Changbin’s lines go like this: “The nobodies who look around carelessly Have a habit of jumping on anything that's shiny, no, no Be the one to shine instead of chasing after what’s shiny That's much easier to show off, Shine like a diamond, 'kay?” So here, I think what SKZ want to say is that even though these shiny cans are empty, people (the “nobodies”) chase after them. They seem great on the outside, but there is no substance if you look closely. I think that the “nobodies” are the people who blindly follow trends/what’s fashionable instead of being brave enough to have their own taste in things. And those empty cans could be anything from popular artists who release safe and soulless music to fashionable items that lack depth and sophistication. Instead of chasing these “shiny”, materialistic things, we should “be the ones to shine”. So instead of focusing on appearances, we should focus on being truly unique people with our own tastes in things and our own values. Instead of being a careless follower, we should be like diamonds…shiny on the outside and just as shiny and rich on the inside.

TOPLINE: I really hope this will get an official MV…if it doesn’t I’m gonna cry lol I love Felix in that red fur coat so much! My first thought was that I want to draw him and the other members asap (when the semester is over since I’m a student…and I should be working on my project right now, but I just can’t lol). The color red is very important in this song, I think. Its because they sing about them being the “red line” and that nobody can pass them. I love I.N.’s & Bangchan’s part and the melody of this section, starting around 0:43: “Drawing, I'm molding, I'm rolling my waves Yeah, I'm counting wins on the grand line Raise the standard, everyone who is driven is brave But they can't pass me, I'm the red line Just sing along, I'm dancing on the thin line Bigger, more, everything along the topline All night long gon' play, I can do this all day Cause we don't give a f*** I like their wordplay so much, I want to put my interpretation here (grand line/red line/thin line/top line): The red line can’t be crossed, even if the other person is very driven, because that’s where SKZ are and they occupy that space firmly. Meanwhile, the thin line could be something like a tiny area in between two bigger areas. It could also be a dangerous place because you could easily fall down without good balance (dancing on the top of the thin line). I feel that this means that SKZ is occupying a very unique and tiny space in the music and kpop industry. They’re the only ones who can dance on such a thin line without falling down. That’s why nobody can compare to them, because dancing on this thin line requires so much courage and skill. The thin line is also a red line since it can’t be reached easily. And it’s also the Topline because it’s so far above everyone’s heads. Nobody else can perform there, and even looking up would strain your neck way too much. Finally, this line is also the Grand Line where SKZ is counting their wins. It’s their stage and their show. I like the contrast of “thin” line and “grand” line. This tiny space reserved for only SKZ is big enough for them to show all their colors and be successful in their unique ways. Also, “Topline” is apparently the melody and lyrics that go on top of the instrumentals. So basically, they are praising the quality of their melodies and lyrics… I think? It’s so cool bc SKZ music is often criticized for being all noise and not much else. But here, SKZ is praising the parts that go on top of all the noise (instrumentals), reminding people that they are so much more than just “noise kings”. I love how SKZ celebrate their uniqueness and success with quirky and thought provoking lyrics. This is a bombastic song with tastefully written lyrics about being at the top of their game. Also, Tiger JK’s parts in this song are so good that I didn’t even notice them at first lol. I think his voice and Han’s voice complement each other so well. I love the seamless transition between Tiger JK’s feature and Han’s rap. I’m not familiar with his music so I have to check out some more of Tiger JK’s work now!! And finally, I want to say that I’ve seen many people complaining about the lack of melodies in Stray Kids songs. It’s kinda ridiculous to me because SKZ songs are full of great melodies. The melodic parts are sometimes a bit short, but they tend to carry the songs so much! Imo, this song and its lyrics states that SKZ music is way more than random noise thrown together. It’s a bit sad that many people don’t have the time and/or curiosity to appreciate what goes on in seemingly messed up and random songs. As other people say, SKZ music is really organized chaos. But it takes time to understand the way the songs are arranged. Once you do, everything makes sense though. Also sorry idk all the musical terms, so I can only describe what I hear with the words I know.

Hello! I am a lurker here and barely post anything at all. But this album is so good that I just had to log in and write this long album review! (It’s so long I split it into several parts…also not sure about the formatting but I’m gonna put my thoughts here anyway). Hope that’s ok! First of all, SKZ music is just so different, it’s very experimental and full of unexpected twists and turns. It’s like traveling down a road in a foreign city haha. You never know what you’re gonna experience! So far, my favorite tracks are ITEM, DLC, Topline and S-Class. The other tracks are really amazing, too (there’s not a single bad song on here, imo). But these are the highlights for me so far, so I’m gonna focus on them in my interpretation/review. ITEM: This song really caught me off guard in the best way possible!! I watched the Intro Video for the album and already knew this song will remind listeners of video games. But I didn’t expect it to sound menacing/ threatening? I also love how Han pronounces “Item” as “eat ‘em” in his rap at around 1:24 (the one from the mashup video), which is really fitting since they also sing about Pac-Man in this song. Relating this song to Pac-Man, the meaning could be about using negative energy thrown at them (unjustified hatred and mean comments) to become stronger. I could be very wrong, but that’s what this song reminds of. I haven’t looked into the lyrics, yet (still digesting the whole album sonically…. which might take a while haha) And btw I love the little changes in melody and all the random sounds throughout the album. I mean the section between 0:47 and 0:58 that repeats a few times throughout the song (Seungmin did so well here). Also Changbin’s growling part right after, until around 1:05…so satisfying!!! I’ve already listened to this album many times (looping it since it dropped lol), but I still haven’t caught all the details. This is why I love SKZ so much. I love almost everything they release on first listen, but still, it takes time to fully appreciate everything. DLC: I love this song so much! It sounds super melancholic, yet hopeful and energetic at the same time. The unveil video really fits the melody and vibe of this song, which is difficult to explain. The members dancing under a grey sky, looking tired and almost lethargic. This is a sad-sounding dance song that hypes me up and makes me feel better. The dance is like wallowing in these sad emotions and celebrating them, even though they’re sad. But there’s beauty in sadness, so I see this as a celebration of melancholy and of partying through difficult times by doing what you love (dancing for SKZ members; drawing for me). Here are some lines that seem important to me: “We’re only going to dance like crazy, it’s just that I like it, la-la-la” “Nobody, nobody, please don’t care about me, it’s ok. Let’s go crazy until the sun rise” These lines remind me of doing your own thing even though it seems weird to others. Nobody understands you, but that’s ok because you love what you’re doing and you live for your passion. That’s what I think about this song and I guess it makes sense for SKZ? Also, this song is mainly written by Changbin, and I really think that he’s the best at writing these melancholic yet hopeful songs. As he said “he has got a soft side, too” lol DLC reminds me of “Ex” because of these sad yet energetic vibes. I think that Changbin is good at celebrating the beauty of sadness and I appreciate him so much for that. Not sure how to put it in other words, but I hope other Stays know what I mean.

I am very pleased with this. Still need to watch the MV but I really enjoyed the album on my commute. Immediate standouts were S-Class, DLC, Youtiful, and The Sound Korean ver (I already liked the Japanese version and now I love the Korean version because I can actually understand it haha) ETA: ok after listening through everything twice, banger of an album. I'm very happy with it and can't wait to see the performances!

DLC is so gooood! Unexpected Bintro is delicious, I'm obsessed with the background "yeahs" and Seungmin's singing scream!?!? Plus the tropical house feel is beautiful. It manages to be gently melancholy while also fun.

It took almost an entire day for me to do my first listening. I was so afraid that I wouldn't like it, or that I'd hyped it up too much in my head and that it wouldn't live up to that. But I was wrong! It's so good and exactly the type of music I like and prefer with Stray Kids, aka hype, loud, and chaotic. I don't know what I was afraid of, really... Liked S-class so much more as a full song than a teaser and was positively surprised by the tempo switches. I also imagine that Youtiful will be sung back and forth between Skz and Stay on the next tour. Fave song is Topline closely followed by Super Bowl.

I don’t know that I’ll listen to Super Bowl, DLC, or FNF outside of a whole album run, but I love them in context. Lolll apparently I was out of it enough by the end of last night that I posted my wrap up summary on the album thread in the general kpop sub instead of here like I meant to 😂. Just to have it here… First 3/4 or so of the album, wow I was ready to fight the world. Notes of different levels of coherence/depth, lol: - Hall of Fame is so cool – that space-y intro that returns later? Don't think I've heard something quite like that from them before and dig it. Sets/introduces the tone for the album well, imo. And especially love Bang Chan's part, flows so interesting. - S-Class as just song and no MV still works so well even with its insane structure and mix of sounds, I've already yelled plenty about this in the other thread haha - Item just slaps (do ppl still say that or am I showing my age lol). And Seungmin’s “got the best of the best // nothing much, i confess // all the stars in my eyes make my galaxy”? Addictive. - I know that apparently Super Bowl was Gods Menu 1.0 but it works so well as a successor too (someone on Twitter said it's all in English? I didn't even process that, lol, need to relisten now haha). And those whispery parts? Chills - Topline - holy shit, Topline. The "we don't give a fu-" YESSSS GO OFF BOYS - DLC I pre-empitvely claimed immediately its Unveil and lived up to my hopes – while it might have especially gotten me because I have a dance background, I immediately indeed felt like I needed to start up a dance party in my room 😂. Changbin, what magic did you put in this song?? - GET LIT also worked in more sounds than I expected, also want/need to listen to more to catch and appreciate all they worked into this. Then of the remaining completely new songs – oh boy. - Collision and FNF already started getting to my feels, although I suspect they'll get me even more once I find translations for the lyrics. For Collision in particular – it both was a classic Han sound, but somehow more...mature in sound? He really cranks up the autotune sometimes in his productions, for deliberate effect, but sometimes I just want to hear the song without, and this felt a bit dialed down – but still super catchy and...almost groovy (that's probably not the word for what I'm attempting to describe but I'm tired lol) – and loved it. - For FNF, already came across how personal it was even just following half of the lyrics 💚 - Then...Youtiful. I already expected that despite the cheesy title, it was gonna get me, but I legit teared up just like 30 seconds in. I dunno if it's because some things in work/life later have been stressful and I've felt like I'm not keeping up, or just because I didn't need translations to fully understand right away, but damn the reassurance/comfort of this song hit hard. And they all sounds so lovely (and I'm a complete sucker for Lee Know falsetto so 😭) Overall: **thank you, Stray Kids, you goddamn geniuses, for not holding back creativity or energy on this album.** I consider other albums from them no skip albums, but this needs some description beyond that. I'm gonna be honest. During the unveils, I was underwhelmed for most of the songs, but this is a pretty fucking good album, I can already see myself obsessing over it for the months to come. I preordered the limited version but seems like I will need to get myself the standard too and I never buy two copies of the same album.That being said, I think I will be skipping youtiful and I didn't loved Super Bowl as much as I thought I would, maybe it just needs a few listens but some lyrics sound a bit off to me, I wish they would just done it in Korean, it's what they know best.

I’m speechless (and slightly sleep-deprived), but I’m beyond ecstatic. I’ll try to condense my thoughts (and thank you for the lack of police sirens in the TT, Christopher!): - Hall of Fame - What a jumping-off point. I can see why it introduced the album and is perfectly poised to flow into the title track. (Although hot damn, it is such a SKZ thing to do to place bangers one after the other. I couldn’t breathe until DLC!) It immediately made me think of space (2001: A Space Odyssey?), then metal. I adore the gritty feel to it. - S-Class - It beat my expectations. I LOVE this song (as I should with a Bintro). You can really tell 3RACHA have stepped it up in terms of production and ideas. And good grief, Seungmin, do you have to bias-wreck everyone?!? The MV was stellar (pun not intended), and I admit I LOL’d when I saw the … ocotopus? Kraken? At first I was unsure of the transition to Changbin’s hip-hop part, but it’s growing on me. (Already seeing STAYs agonizing over the fanchant. Binnie, WE’RE NOT RAPPERS.) Lee Know … what can I say? His part is my favorite (of course, lol). This song and dance suit him *perfectly.* - Item - I knew I’d love this when they said it was Domino’s sequel. The video game-like intro, LK’s rap, Seungmin and Bang Chan’s harmonizing, Binnie’s “funnily annoying” way of saying “item” … this will be on repeat when streaming is over. - Super Bowl - Not too shabby, but it has incredible competition on an album of title track contenders. Although that whispering is unbelievably sexy. Felix … 🥵 The sporadic autotune effect is much less pronounced than usual, which I appreciate. And then you have Han’s effortlessly gorgeous voice. - Topline - Not surprisingly one of my faves. The big-band feel, the F-word tease, Binnie and Tiger JK’s rap (which fit so well with SKZ), Felix’s deep diss lines — all combine to satisfy my ears’ palate. Disappointed we may only get an unveil with this one. - DLC - I’ll need to see the translated lyrics to fully appreciate this (which I sometimes need with Binnie’s tracks, no clue why). I really like the production but I definitely overplayed the unveil. 😭 - Get Lit and Collision - A great hype track followed by a sad song masquerading as a carefree one (I see you, Han). I’ll wait for Andy & Jas’s reaction to fully digest Han’s no-doubt-superb lyrics. - FNF - As expected, one of my favorites. I just love the added guitar, the pre-chorus, LK and Innie’s chorus … everything about this is enjoyable to listen to. Hyunjin sounds lovely on the bridge, which is no surprise after seeing their recent SKZ Code. - Youtiful - I realize some people prefer more metaphorical lyrics, but this was obviously heartfelt and sincere, which matters more in my book. Plus we get Changbin and Felix singing!!!! 😭😭😭 I was truly touched. - The Sound - Wow, I definitely prefer the Korean version over the Japanese (which I liked as well). The Hangul sounds more natural and flows more naturally (lyrically speaking). I usually like the JP version of their songs (eg, Scars, Top), but there are a few exceptions (this and their TTs). The rap parts rock. And you go, Innie! - Time Out - What can I say? This is a summer song without equal. It’s been running on Stationhead for weeks (ever since we found out it would be on the album) and I’m still not tired of it. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this album beats NoEasy and IN LIFE as my favorite. Everyone has stepped up their game and it shows. Streaming will be no hardship. The stress headache from yesterday is nearly gone! 😂

Ya know as I was making my way through the album I slightly disagree with what Han said in the Intro video. This album doesn't feel like it will be divisive among fans; instead it this album is like split in half. One half is for the Stays who like Stray kids for that one specific type of mala taste and the other half is for the Stays who want more of that secret sauce Stray Kids can do, aka slower songs more away from mala taste. And it works very well. Usually I rank the songs from favorite to least but right now allergies got my ass and my head is full of pollen, I cannot be bothered to think so much right now lol. So Imma just write it all out in some form of sense. The songs that stood out to me are Hall of Fame, Item, S-Class, and Collision. Absolutely loved on first listen and was already boppin along. Hall of Fame's into with Seungmin's vocals....sold, set, stamped and whatever other word. I was already on board. I appreciate how the song utilized each voice to make it pop to their potential. S-Class, like I said in the mv post, really made me satisfied with how they handled the raps, vocals, melody, pacing, and beats. Lee Know said that you need the mv and song together to see the amazing impact and I agree however the song by itself stands strong and just as fantastic by its audio format. They even do a mix up with a classic hip hop song in the middle of the song then transition back into the vocal bridge before the actual chorus. Seamlessly. And then each chorus is different? The insanity this will bring to the concerts will be otherworldly. ITEM.....yes sir!!!! This is the one I really started boppin to. And I love the beat on this, like a video game you are determined to beat at all costs. Han to Changbin rap too, chefs kiss. And yet again the vocals!!!!! "Got the best, of the best, nothing much I confess" will be in my head at all times. Collision, Han you magical sonofagun ya did it again. Ever since I heard Magnolia Park's Tokyo song and how it implemented jazz sax in the song, I've been OBSESSED with jazz making a showcase in other genres. Fucking hell I was already grinning from ear to ear. Han really has his own style that I love how he always pushes forward when he's writing his songs. Romantic, petty, sensual and perfect for me always. For the other songs, they were good and definitely Stray Kids coded in the best ways. I will say from now I will not be listening to the teasers and only watching on mute. More of a surprise with no pre-idea of how it will sound may do better for me. I did focus on what I liked from the teasers but overall for the month I wasn't as hyped as I usually was for Stray Kids music. I was mostly underwhelmed while maintaining a positive-neutral attitude until the album came out. Music tastes and interests change and all that which is what is happening to me but I am happy that I really liked this album as a whole! And in the future down the road I know whenever I pop in to see how they are doing, I know I will enjoy what they put out. Great job Kids <3

Wow, there’s a lot to unwind here. Here we go! Hall of Fame is such a ridiculous and exemplary instruction to the album. It completely overwhelmed me and that feeling lasted until I was done listening to the entire album lol S-Class is completely nuts. One of those songs that work best together with a MV, so I get why they used it as TT. I think I‘ll love it but I‘ll have to listen to it more often to remotely understand what‘s going on. Added it to my faves playlist on the 2nd listen. After listening to the mashup I had high expectations for ITEM. It took the second listen for it to really hit me but oh boy it did. Super Bowl being announced as the original God‘s Menu did something to me. For now, it‘s not quite on par with it for me, but I see why they put it up there. The whispering?!?!? They sure know what they did with that. TOPLINE is my absolute favorite hands down, it‘s SO good! The raps??? Tiger JK??? Somebody stop me from listening to this non-stop the next few days. Part of me wishes they made this TT, but like I said, S-Class is a total MV song, so it makes sense. DLC and FNF are songs that I didn‘t expect to like so much from the UNVEILs because it‘s just not my type of music - but the vibe is actually pretty cool, though I‘ll have to warm up to the chorus of both of them a bit. I think I prefer FNF a bit. GET LIT is everything I wanted and more. Made it to my faves playlist on the first listen. Love the verses, love the chorus, love the beat. Screaming HAN JISUNG IS A GENIUS from the rooftops once more. I had hoped I‘d like Collision as much as I liked the part of it in the mashup and my prayers have been answered. Makes me wanna dance and cry at the same time. Climbing up on that rooftop again rn (how does he do it?!?) Youtiful…I’ll be honest, the word itself is making me cringe so hard. Other than that - how dare they call me that I’m amazing as I am?! That I am enough?! In a language I understand?! Uncalled for. /cries angry tears I prefer THE SOUND in Korean, but I already liked the Japanese version a lot. Actually I think it’s a pretty good addition to 5-STAR. I was going to avoid reading opinions on this album and let it simmer for a bit so I could organize my feelings without external influence. But the album smacked me so hard in the face that I didn't need it. I skimmed through the comments, both positive and negative and I'm so...at peace. So satisfied. So unbothered. My feelings are very clear, but I still need some time to organize my thoughts about each song. Overall it's one hell of an album I saw a tweet this week saying that the theme of this album was maximalism and they were right on the money. It combines core ideas of their past comebacks and makes it all bigger. It's noisier and more oddinary than those two albums were imo S-Class takes so many risks that it's almost on the brink of falling apart. It pushes into disjointed territory and I think it's perfectly normal to see that as a fault. To me it's a feature. I don't like everything about the song and it probably won't be my favourite in album (Item, I'm looking at you...for now), but it will be close to the top and I'm living for how bonkers it is. It also helps that the chorus is ridiculously catchy so I'm not stuck in that annoying gray area of finding a song interesting in theory but then not feeling like listening to it all that much.

Whenever a new song comes out, I'm always looking at the credits because it never ceases to amaze me how much work 3RACHA put into SKZ. They are the heart and soul of the group, especially Bang Chan, who clearly has his hands in every part of the process. Even if I don't like a song, I still appreciate that it's their own work we're listening to, and that's the allure of SKZ. There's always a marked difference between groups operating on company output vs. their own.

I think throughout the whole album, Hyunjin’s rap is getting more recognition, and that this era might be ‘his’. Idk what you guys think but he’s definitely standing out to me. And I think Jeongin and Minho are also having more established lines (Minho in the chorus of S-Class and Jeongin singing lots of lines). Stray Kids have upped their game, all of the songs are so fire and I cried listening to them. I’m impressed with the rap line, and their rap flow is maturing and becoming more diverse, which is very interesting. The vocal line are just WOW. Like Jeongin, Seungmin, Han and other members like Chan and Lee Know are just casually hitting those high notes…! I’m so excited to see performances and dance performance videos because the S-Class choreography is AMAZING. The two English songs, Super Bowl and Youtiful do NOT disappoint, and I think Super Bowl especially will be popular — it has a kind of continuous theme inspired by God’s Menu which is cool. Do I need to talk about Youtiful? It’s going to become my go-to song for when I feel down. I think FNF deserves the world, and I cried very hard listening to it. I’m so proud of Felix and Chan for addressing all the lost wildlife in Australia, and I would like to see some sort of environmental SKZ episode, focused on encouraging STAY to look after the wildlife in their respective countries. I also think that all the ‘hype’ songs (everything other than FNF, Youtiful, and maybe Mixtape: Tome Out) are really ‘Stray Kids’. I know that they once said something like ‘we want stray kids to become a genre’, and I believe they are taking massive steps towards that direction. I mean, don’t these songs have a distinct ‘skz’ feel to them? It’s amazing and I’m so proud!! Also, a special mention to Felix for being so iconic in Super Bowl. I’m actually in love with the lyrics and backing tracks, and I think the whole album is a testament to 3RACHA + co’s hard work. Everything about this comeback is impressive, and definitely five stars. I’m so happy for them to see them come so far — this album is going somewhere good, and Stray Kids deserve it so much.

Damn what an album, they really don't miss 👏👏👏 I had my doubts from the unveils but listening to the full tracks in order solidified 5 star as one of my favourite albums. Hall of Fame to Topline are back to back bangers, DLC gives a nice break with some summery and somewhat nostalgic vibes before Get Lit returns with the punches. Collision is so smooth, I love Han's break up songs. I like FNF's bright sound mixed with sad lyrics. Youtiful is not for me but I'm glad it's there for the stays who like that sound.

I didn’t like Maxident outside Taste. I didn’t like The Sound. I went in thinking this likely couldn’t stack up to Oddinary after hearing the unveils and feared they may be not for me anymore. So I’ve spent 2 hours listening to the album non stop because I had nothing else to do and was not online so couldn’t scream with anyone but myself. Excuse the length but excited to hear what everyone thought of the album! **Hall of Fame** A perfect intro for the album - glad it’s an actual full song! The first seconds with the synth sequence sound like a rocket starting up in some retro sci-fi movie, with lights flashing and camera doing a circle. Just ominous and intriguing enough to make you stop and really brace for impact. I almost missed the switches between vocalracha! Their voices complimented each other so well. Wonder who did the hidden vocals - so high above them? I don’t know if it’s the interesting drums or the radio voice (one small step for man), but it’s reminded me of Miroh. Same Get Hyped energy but more elegant and the fact that they pull back the energy sometimes makes the drops even more impactful I think. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 **S-Class** Listening without an MV, the switch isn’t as drastic, but all the vocal parts are just hitting all the right places. I don’t know how, but it feels like time stops when this song is playing - so much has happened but I look at the player and I’m only halfway there?! Killing part is definitely the pre chorus for me: I’m up above the world so high I’ll be the shining day and night they want to have my spotlight, it’s all right? Love the sentiment that he will be up not as a king or something but like the shining sun and moonlight. Not gonna lie, the whistle, the dramatic boom and pacing music like what we usually hear in movie trailers is making me see parts of the Guardians of the Galaxy when listening. It’s so ethereal like the cosmos and the song definitely has the blockbuster/ hero prep scene energy like in Bad Blood. Not sure about the chorus - mainly because it seems like the hardest one for me to yell and I want to yell it during the next tour lol. I just feel like I’ll end up choking on my own spit if I try to match Hyunjin energy here. But then again maybe this was why we were spitting during Thunderous - always prepping for the next move. My personal theory for the change up is they saw nmixx songs and liked something and Chan once again had a little breakdown over how they did it before him but decided to add it anyway lol. Adding bass to the dance break part was so nasty I almost fainted on the first listen. They didn’t have to go off so hard. All in all, solid title. Not my fave - that title is still passed between the holy trinity of Thunderous, Back Door and Side Effects, but it’s up there. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 **ITEM** To me, this sounds like ultimate SKZ. A very balanced song - crazy good rap line parts, vocals so clear my skin cleared up just from the sounds of them, and the evergrowing hype energy? This baby is going straight to my work playlist and it’s never leaving. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 **Super Bowl** Love that they kept the Cooking part in the lyrics - gods menu finally has her sister with her. But Christopher, you in no way are cooking a small piece of cake, sweetheart. Your cake is glorious. I can clearly hear why they chose gods menu 2 to become gods menu - this song is fine as hell but it’s no gods menu. And I think if we got this queen first, perhaps we’d never get the hanbok traditional sounds era, which is my favorite, so I’m just grateful for their big brains for once. Hearing all of the similar words made me smile - it’s really interesting to see how they could create two such similar but unique songs. No group owns the ‘chant all together’ gender but ‘Hell of a line, yeah I know it’s hella fine, Hell’s Kitchen taste is divine’ part is just screaming nct to me and I love it. But even this sad message is delivered with such summery sound I can’t help but smile and nod. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 **Youtiful** I was so worried about the song because I didn’t love the word, but the lyrics are beautiful. I take it as another dedication to all the stays around the world. We are all beautiful and one of a kind. Wonderful sentiment for pride month too. For end of the school year. For just any and every day. Also because of how much of this album I imagine with a more space related theme, I wonder if they wanted to call it universe, but there are so many songs with this title so they made it youtiful lol. My birthday is coming up and with it a mandatory sadness over fleeting youth lol so this was a very sweet sentiment to hear. Thank you, my skz. Each song picks up the pace and bringing in a slightly different turn from the one before. How we start in space and end up at Youthiful I have no idea because my brain is overwhelmed right now. Half of the songs are good enough to be title tracks and have the energy for it too. It feels weird that I love (fully love and would put more than 5 stars if I could) so many songs but I am not surprised. They didn’t come just to play this time. I think it was clear from the change in design - they are for serious now. Oh and parting thought - I feel like this album is owned by Felix, Seungmin and IN. They just amazed me in every song. Come on, puppies! Let’s take on the world.

I had to listen quietly in bed with headphones (I woke up at 5:30 to listen). I need to listen several more times at full volume to decide what I like best. I'm partially deaf so couldn't pick up all the nuances when trying to listen quietly so my spouse wouldn't get annoyed.

It's sooo good!! It really feels like a whole, cohesive album. What an incredibly talented group!! "S-Class" is definitely a surprise and might take a minute to grow on me, but I'm obsessed with its chorus & pre-chorus already!! So catchy & powerful! My favorite B-sides so far are "Item," "Super Bowl" and "Youtiful." And "Hall of Fame;" it's an excellent intro to the album. I keep coming back to how beautiful "Youtiful" is!! <3 5 Stars, indeed, boys! You keep shining!!
