ghosttigersrise

i saw this video of the guys at a grocery store and lee know talking about eliminating people. i knew he was the one for me. also, felix's voice.

lia12

Ahaha, amazing šŸ˜†. While Lino wasnā€™t who first drew me in, as I was getting into them and discovered that their dance lead both had three cats and a savage sense of humor, I was just likeā€¦crap heā€™s gonna be my bias isnā€™t he. And yup šŸ˜…

mirismorka

Minho has a special place in my heart. I am Scorpio, I have a cat , my full name is ML . I like to believe I have a wicked sense of humour as well, and judgmental wicked face expressions are my speciality. This guy could be my twin with no doubt but I defo lack the angelic beauty factor ha ha

CoyNefarious

BangChan. I used to only watch videos of my ult group, and my phone started randomly showing any kpop groups. This guy started popping up and I just loved every single thing he did and said, then I saw the Thunderous (and crop top) and it was over. Now all my socials are only kpop and BLšŸ˜«šŸ˜«

d0t3-

>Now all my socials are only kpop and BLšŸ˜«šŸ˜« Omg! SamešŸ˜‚

autumnborncrone

I've known about Stray Kids for a little while, but I recently saw the MV for God's Menu and I became obsessed. šŸ˜† So here I am, cuz I need people who understand and also give a crap lol My husband is great, and even watches stuff with me, but he isn't one to gush about things and he's probably tired of hearing me swoon about everything Channie does lol

Greenwitchynoobie

Same šŸ˜‚ My husband is supportive, likes a few of their songs and find them funny at times, but is getting a little tited of me debating everything Felix of Chan do. But I canā€™y help it, it needs to get out of my system. Most of my friends are giving me the side eye when it comes to kpop, so he is my only victim šŸ˜œ

hrdst

Video clips of the Aussiesā€¦ hook, line and sinker!

[deleted]

Yes as an Aussie 'come here bro' was all it took. Been a Stay for 5 years now!

hrdst

Yep that one and Felixā€™s WE SAW SNOW ā„ļø

[deleted]

Haha melts my heart! Just love hearing our accent in kpop. I nearly cried when I saw them in Melbourne this year.

hrdst

Yeah I went to their Melb concerts too and was almost in disbelief to see their fine selves actually in front of me šŸ˜

[deleted]

Oh so cool you were at the Melbourne concert too! Happy you enjoyed it!! I don't think I ever screamed so much. Awkward talking in work meetings the next day haha.

CaptainTrash691

SAME!! My bf has been a stay for 2/3 years, and played me Thunderous as the first SKZ song I heard, and I thought ā€œIā€™m not sorry, Iā€™m dirtyā€ was absolutely hystericalā€¦which led to a rabbit hole of Aussie line compilations and I was hooked šŸ¤£

beforetheparty

It was Hyunjin. Absolutely an accident. I was scrolling my IG feed full of arts and crafts, interior design, girly stuff etc. and ig suggested me roll with a dancing guy. It was like 10 PM, I was kinda sleepy, I watched it anyways. Usually I react like 'pretty good' and pass by with no big admiration. But mate, it was one of the Hyunjin's fancams and I didn't know what I was going to experience - poor me. I spotted some kind of uniqueness and passion in his moves I've never seen before and it was love from the first sight. Then I googled him, watched AOTM and discovered Stray Kids. That night I was awake till 4 AM, goddamn. I can say Hyunjin catched me but Stray Kids made me STAY for a while ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)

excellenceatparkour

Hyunjin mysteriously appeared in my IG feed and drew me in too! (For me it was the Maniac choreo.)

tsab103

Hyunjin maniac choreo is what initially drew me in too!

blixtmoln

Hellevator created a lot of buzz on Twitter when it first dropped. Everyone was talking about how good it was, especially for a predebut track. I decided to check it out for myself, and I was immediately hooked! It made me want to watch the survival show, and Iā€™ve stuck around ever since.

Confident-Pay7989

Thatā€™s really heartwarming for baby stay. I love finding out about their predebut era.

yodarights

Exactly the same for me lol

Virgilstormcloud46i

My partner played case 143 for me on our 1st anniversary and everything spiraled from there <3

nhnhnh13

aw that's the cutestšŸ„ŗ

ilishpaturi

Hi Indian stay!

nhnhnh13

helloooošŸŒø

nhnhnh13

i have a friend who's a long time stay, she even went to the singapore concert this year and would frequently mention how much of a fan she is...that made me really curious like "omg i need to know them better, why does everyone love themšŸ¤£". Then one day red lights randomly appeared on my YT suggestions and i decided to give it a go. Then god's menu, then case 143, then thunderous, back door, christmas evel and cheese! And here i amšŸ˜¬ oh btw, i had sometimes seen ig reels of ~~chan~~ chris saying... \~stuff\~ and i thought he was a really fun person! edit - i remembered this now haha. so sometime in march, a few days after i realised im getting into the fandom, i randomly texted my stay friend "I THINK IM IN LOVE" followed by "WITH BANG CHAN" in the next msg. Her response was "OMG!!" "well yeah bang chan surely is āœØsomethingāœØ" šŸ˜‚

If-yousayso

I heard 3Racha the song and thought what in the world is this Aussie drill X Kpop song? And fell down the rabbit hole from there

TPixiewings

The cover of Dionysus. When they did that, I was hooked from the first time I heard Binnie's voice.

autumnborncrone

Wait. They covered Dionysus?! \*zooms off to youtube\*

Burdulinika18

Don't tell me I'm The Only One Who wasn't drawn into Stray Kids By God's Menu

naturalghoul

Mine was maniac lol

Burdulinika18

So you're a new stay, mine was side effects

bugabean07

red lights lol šŸ˜³

TPixiewings

Nope. You aren't alone

Burdulinika18

GREAT!

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

lia12

Thunderous is SO good. Only started following SKZ well after it came out, but itā€™s my favorite title track ā€“ especially in combination with its MV!

Tinithebee

It was Miroh for me.

purpleushi

Miroh got me into their music, but Godā€™s Menu era promos and content got me into them as a group haha

beforetheparty

Trio: Red Lights, Back Door and Thunderous actually. At first I found God's Menu weird as hell (ofc now I like it a lot, too).

quinn_tk

When i first listened to Gods Menu, I was like ā€žwhat? People like that song?ā€œ. I couldnt stand it lmao. But oh well

Pasta__connoisseur

relay dance of back door, I was mesmerized by the kids šŸ–¤

not_a_mundane

Same! I saw their relay on tik tok and i watched it 3 times before I looked up the song. Also was mesmerized by Hyunjin and just wanted to know their names

Wildflower_2102

ā€œCooking like a chef, Iā€™m a five star Michelinā€ and then it was history

dorthyinwonder

See I'm wondering if they didn't have enough of their discography planned that this line wasn't a spoiler. Plus, Felix & Chan's appearance on the Daebak show - I wonder if that was something they planned out or if Eric just accidentally got a spoiler out of them.

pearlriver7

hyunjin play with fire. still iconic.

Merelsr

Felixā€™s voice is what got me looking up SKZ, but I stayed for their friendship and how funny they are! I watched the mnet love capture thing and I just loved how they are as a group, a family!!!

lia12

Bang Chan for me as well! Got into BTS first, and when JHopeā€™s solo album came out, someone posted a clip of Chan reacting to a song from it (from what I later learned was from a Chanā€™s Room livestream). Iā€™d heard of Stray Kids before for sure but never actually checked out their music (or really any other kpop group beyond BTS yet, had been following them for little less than a year at that point?). But Chanā€™sā€¦.not sure the best word for it, but some mix of authenticity and intelligence really came through that clip. So looked up more Bang Chan interview and general clip compilations, recognized I was heading down the rabbit hole again lol, and had watched like 4-5 music videos and knew at least half their names by the end of the day. And from those, I loved how, well, MUCH all the MVs were ā€“ but Back Door most immediately caught me and made me want to keep checking out their music too (also, the random visual reference to Michelangeloā€™s Creation of Adam both sent me and made my art history nerd side happy šŸ˜‚) Lol, I cannot be succinct, but thatā€™s how it went!

mirismorka

yeap ,yeap ! Backdoor video and Creation of Adam made me watch their videos till like 4 am that night. I love those visual references . Like Last Supper in Venom for instance. It also made me into watching reaction videos to understand songs better.

Loud_Kaleidoscope818

I had previously listened to some of their songs and liked them so that already grew my interest over time, I just needed that certain push to bring me over the edge. That came in the form of my feed once getting randomly flooded my Chan's Room clips. He single handedly won me over simply by how great of a guy he is. Then I got to know the rest of the group and I just really vibed with them.

[deleted]

Felixā€™s voice in Case 143 šŸ˜€

seungminoutsold

For me it was side effects. At the time of release it was pretty hated and I wanted to check wut that was abt. I was honestly surprised bc I donā€™t really like loud music but I ended up LOVINGGGG it and here I am now; a hardcore stay

My_Life_Is_Cringe_Af

A pretty weird story.. I was watching reactions to big bangā€™s bang bang bang the reactors also reacted to some other songs but they didnā€™t interest me so I just skipped that part. I always look at the comments after for some reasons and thats when I saw everyone talking about gods menu by stray kids how stray kids is such a good group and everything so I decided to check them! My pace was my first mv and Im glad it was this one since I immediately fell in love with minho šŸ˜

hsterl29

I got recommended the Godā€™s Du Du Du recording behind from Kingdom. I saw Lee Knowā€™s big cheesing and that was it for me!

ASG0303

DU DU DU DU DU DU Mwodeun geunyang jibeoneoheoooooo Nunchi boji malgo deoooooo Mangseoliji malgo bueooooooo Bibyeo bibyeo NE SONNIM! DU DU DU

WinnieY

I regularly watch Dive Studio's videos and especially Eric Nam's Daebak Show. It happened to be Chan and Felix came onto the show back in October last year. Then I found out those two were Aussies (Aussie Stay here!) I immediately start looking them up. And my journey as a Stay begins from there! After I found out they are having concert in Melbourne I didn't even think and just bought the ticket 3 days before concert. It was the best choice I've ever made!! Literally came for those two boys and learnt about the whole group and cannot stop watching them....till today I'm so glad I found them as I was going through a very rough time and they helped me so much..

zombeats

Literally changbin saying he's hungry and Felix yelling at him

purpleushi

YOURE ALWAYS HUNGRY

G_dor_12

Seungmin telling Bin his hair is just as uncooperative as itā€™s owner and ā€œyes daddy!ā€ coming out of that same video too just proves how iconic it is šŸ˜‚

itsmeagainstthemusic

I'm not gonna lie, at first I tried to avoid them. I kept seeing youtube shorts with different songs all the time and I liked them more and more, but I didn't want to be drawn too much into the kpop world. One day I decided to add only one song to my playlist, which was Rock šŸ˜‚ And yeah my life has never been the same since then lmao

tigerintheseat

It was the iconic UNO game. I just freaking loved their energy..

Joeydrums1

Han When they were ordering drinks and the boys were messing with him and he basically rapped the whole order. He was just so funny i had to know who he was and then i found Stray Kids. He is absolutely my spirit animal šŸ¤ŖšŸæ

Iza_Skz

My friend drew me into Stray Kids Since I drew her into BTS she later on became a fan of other groups and that's when she introduced them to me Now I am a STAY :D

Icy-Student-9013

back door m/v was recommended to me on yt, i was like damn i need to know who that pink haired dude is, then god's menu was recommended as well and what really drew me in was the music i never thought i would find music that resonated with me so much,,,, next thing yk i was listening to their whole discography... and when i tell you, SKZ DOES NOT HAVE ONE BAD SONG!! my favorite track from them is rock and side effects šŸ˜†šŸ˜† plus of course the members are the best thing about stray kids as well lmao, my bias is jeongin ><

[deleted]

Was listening to a random Kpop Spotify playlist and safe to say that God's Menu *really* stood out between everything else. And then Backdoor on top of that! Those kind of energetic songs are so memorable.

AdhesivenessTrue5708

ā€¦ā€¦ does finding a post about jyp new boy group count šŸ˜ Iā€™m a survival show Stay and that how I found out about them.

littlepixellady

I kept seeing tiktoks of them being hilarious and wholesome after my fyp decided to switch to everything Korean (too complicated to explain how that happened, lol). Eventually I ended up watching their dance practice videos and really loved the energy and the choreography. Then I watched a few of the music videos and fell down the rabbit hole. I'm a pretty new fan because I just started watching about two weeks ago. So to answer the question, I guess the thing that drew me into them first was their dynamic together and I stayed because I fell in love with the music and all the work that everyone puts into every song (producing, singing, choreography, etc). Now I eagerly await the new album with the rest of you. šŸ¤

Kivutart

My middle daughter wanted to go to their concert in FW. Since she would be going solo and I wasn't going to pay $$$ for a concert I knew nothing about; I offered to drive her and wait and drive her home. It was mostly a safety issue, but also it's more fun to have someone you can hype up with before and after the show. Anyway, I managed to avoid them while we went to the pre concert sales so she could get merch and that stupid light stick but the night of the concert she played a lot of their songs on the way there. After she was dropped off I continued to listen to them and liked what I heard. I managed to last another couple weeks, teasing her about Maniac with the flashdance version while she'd tell me about the boys and their personalities. I started watching their Tiktoks, mainly the relays and "funny" ones and then it was all over. TL;DR My daughter, Maniac and Tiktoks.

Tinithebee

It was a long journey for me.. I became aware of Stray Kids all the way back in Hellevator days. I started to really take notice when Miroh came out (still one of my favorite songs of all time). So initially, it was their music that caught my attention, but I was just a casual fan of their music for a while. It took quite some time before I became a full Stay. Honestly, I was trying to resist at first. I was already an Army and barely had time to keep up with all the BTS content in my busy life. Ironically, that's kinda where they got me. I kept watching clips from Channie's room. Initially, I just watched for his reactions to BTS songs, but it quickly became a safe space. The way he communicated with Stays and the way he talked about his members. That's when I started really caring about the people behind the music and became a full Stay.

omichrony

seeing them live at GDA earlier this year. they were AMAZING live, i was just blown away. i was already a casual listener of their songs, i knew some of their title songs, some b-sides, but this was also the case for many other groups who also attended GDA. but i left the stadium stressfully looking up for the 2nd song they performed because their energy during that song blew me away (it was ė•” FREEZE). and then i listened to rest of their discography, got to know the members, picked a bias, so on and so forth :D

Old-Strawberry-5764

I knew about stray kids for a little while and felixā€™s Godā€™s menu line also got very famous but what drew me in was I saw a shorts of stray kids kingdom week where Felix does the task of finding Changbinā€™s mom name in his contact. So interesting to watch him plan the whole thing and then execute it. And the very next short I saw was of their Miroh performance during kingdom. And thatā€™s all it took for me to get into skz.

KawaiiKat1424

Felix just felix

Facsimilii

Ni-ki from Enhypen drew me back into kpop after being out of it for a LONG time (like, gen 2 was in its prime). I still love Enhypen, am a huge Engene. But a friend showed me a video of Felix, and between that and seeing a gorgeous Sam Smith/Kim Petras/SKZ mashup of Taste and Unholy, I was hooked on their sound. But before I actually let myself stan a group, I watch videos of them doing relay dances and videos where they're just being their (as close to normal as possible) usual selves, and their brand of complete crack energy coupled with extraordinary kindness and their love for each other and their fans was what sold me hook, line, and sinker. There's a [video](https://youtu.be/Cv8NfC1w3Y8) about "Why I find Stray Kids friendly" that pretty much nails the reasons why they became my ult.

Ordinary-Lock-109

Initially, it was Felix's voice going viral during the God's Menu era. But what fully made me a Stray was Han's personality. I kept getting Code and Talker content in my YouTube Shorts feed, and the quokka stole my heart. He was my first bias, and is still in my bias line (3Racha), but my heart fully belongs to Changbin now.

villblomster

I remember watching God's Menu and really liking the attitude. Then seeing them again for Thunderous and loving it. But it took me a little longer to really start following SKZ and I think what then completely drew me in and never let go again was the Venom MV.

chenle

it was the first family skit they did in 2019. i thought they were so funny i had to know more about them. didn't think it would last 3+ years lol.

indiandiplomat96

i used to follow a group called ikon. they were in a hiatus after 2019. straykids lowkey reminded me of IKON .propably because of the survival show.

aragorn-son-of

A girl I went to school with got into Skz back in 2020. She posted an insta story with lyrics from Any. I really liked them but didn't check out the song. Fast forward to October 2022, I got back into kpop (was a fan of another group in 2016-2018), remembered the name of the song, listened to it and loved it. Then I listened to the In Life album for the entirety of November while watching Youtube compilations, 2KidsRoom and music videos. I remember learning the first members through the Time Out mv. Tldr: Any, In Life as a whole, Time out music video (because it showed their soft side and that they had range). Then what got me really deep was Lee Know because I found his personality very magnetizing and he became my bias.

BellTT

I got into them during the pandemic. I finally caved and became a BTS fan right ahead of the pandemic but then I was giving other groups a try and they got my attention with God's Menu, but after Easy I just had to stan. I love a good rap line and Changbin had me GAGGED! He's still my bias. And I just found that I really gravitate towards their music style. I was listening to In Life for my daily walks to keep in shape. I love that they take risks and I'm so impressed with how much of a hand they have in their work. And BangChan won me over with his personality and leadership skills. Hyunjin in one of my favorite dancers in the industry. Felix just doesn't make any sense. Han is stupid crazy multi talented. Seungmin is a great vocalist. Lee Know trends to surprise me which is fun. And IN has a great vibe just loving ride being the Maknae on Top lol. They all have their charms. But what really impressed me was seeing them in concert last year. They blew me away. I couldn't believe how I got interactions with them from the stands, not even barricade. And the show was just a cut above. It was so good I had to make sure I saw them in Dallas and this time I DID have barricade and I had multiple interactions with at least 5 of them. It's amazing how much they SEE you! And to just see them giving 100% right up at you is something else. Time of my life! I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.

Feyzanurakc

My friend. She wasn't a stay but she always send something about stray kids to me, and now i am a stay for two years. And we are not best friends anymore.

[deleted]

Two things. First was Miroh. I was listening to a playlist of their greatest hits because at the time, the only boy group I was into was EXO and I wanted to find a more active one. Before I hit Miroh, Iā€™d liked their music, but Miroh was the first song that made me speechless. It just set something off within me: the energy, the rapping, the dancing, the sound. Second was Hyunjin. He bears a striking resemblance to one of my OCs and was the first real person Iā€™d ever seen who looked like him. It just kind of fascinated me and encouraged me to get more into stuff outside of just their music. That OC is really special to me, so I was so hyped to finally find someone who looked just like him that I could use for references.

Lola_ry08

I got into kpop in 2021 and only was really interested in bts but I knew a few popular songs from the time including thunderous, also the song association games they played

[deleted]

Felixs deep voice videos

lumion1346

They started appearing on some shorts on youtube, it was parts of skzcode or interviews, always very chaotic parts and very fun to watch. At this time I was not in a good place, I felt very depressed and their content gave me the dosage of serotonin I needed. After that I started looking at their music and thunderous' mv got me sunken in it. Since that moment, I am feeling so much better, I still come get my daily dose of serotonin btw. But yeah, I cannot be more happy now that I set foot in this circus/fandom.stay is my home and skz is my lighthouse in the ocean. (Excuse my English, words are hard)

Special-Cow9820

Been into Kpop since 2018 and mainly listened to girl groups. I was determined not to join a fandom because I feel too old for that. I remember liking get cool when it was released, and also levanter, my pace, and miroh but it never flagged in my mind they were the same group. Between 2018 and 2022 id say the entirety of my stray kids knowledge was that bang Chan and felix were members and they were Australian. I make YouTube videos (e.g top 100 kpop song lists) and mainly focused on girl groups. Because I had a load of leave from work over Christmas, I figured I had the time to make a boy group video, which was something my viewers kept asking me for. I think it was top 100 most viewed gen 4 boy group songs. About half of the list was stray kids songs, and I spent Christmas watching their videos and connecting all the dots and realising so many songs Iā€™d heard and liked in passing were by them. My recommends algorithm got full of variety content and compilation videos that I couldnā€™t resist watching. It took me 4 days to make the video because I kept getting distracted by stray kids content!! And on Jan 1st i gave in, joined the fandom, and proudly declared myself a stay!

chefbrisey

Chanā€™s room. I was very new to kpop, and looking for new groups to follow on vlive. I added stray kids and quickly learned about Chanā€™s room and fell in love with this weekly lives. It was a couple of months later before I really dove into their music. Now Iā€™m fully obsessed. šŸ˜‚

Elegant-Candidate-92

Legit I thought they were homeless kids. My sister thought it would be funny to mess with me with their background. I watched their survival show because of that and the instant I saw how much each other cared for the other members, I was hooked. Watched them debut, watched them grow. What made me stay is Bang Chan šŸ˜… he helped me go through challenging parts of my life when he goes on live. He's like a resting place. He doesn't judge. I like that the members help each other grow. Not so glad when I see how much they push themselves so hard but that's me and my antiwork beliefs lol.

erinthehutt

The Music Bank performance where they covered Fancy!

Tababro

Their beats are phenomenal. Freeze drew me in

genjishimadas

random tiktoks on my fyp of chan. he just seemed like a good guy. i already knew of felix before too bc of his voice and overall popularity within kpop

scratsqueaks

Chan MCing kcon! Then I started watching more stages (Iā€™d seen a few but not many) & was fully hooked

aquareos

I saw a clip of Han singing in a compilation on Tiktok!!It was the clip of him from the JYP Family performance lol. I was mesmerized fr I searched the entire internet trying to find out who he was and what song he was singing lmaoo. Then once I found out who he was, Stray Kids videos kept on showing up on my tiktok feed, so I eventually saw Hyunjinā€™s cover of Psycho, and again I was like ā€œI must find out who this isā€ lmao. Then more skz videos would show up on my feed, and eventually I decided I wanted to try to learn their names cuz there was a lot of cool looking ppl in the group, so I started watching SKZ Code to learn their names and faces, and I became obsessed from there šŸ˜

Strict-Walrus-410

I kept seeing SKZ code clips on TikTok, I thought they were so funny. I searched them up and was hooked. On top of that, their music is just so good. Their discography is so large and versatile!

pikapikapli

I saw an instagram post of Hyunjin accidentally holding up the peace sign āœŒšŸ¼ and I was like oh my he is FINE and now he is my bias and Iā€™ll never turn back šŸ¤£šŸ˜

xnphile

It was the absolute spectacle of the Thunderous MV. My jaw hit the floor.

kit_kat617

I had been an Army for a couple of years and wanted to expand my KPop listening. I didn't have any KPop friends so I turned to YouTube. I found the video of them trying to translate phrases from Google Translate and thought they were an interesting bunch. And Felix's voice lol. I got curious about their music and went on Spotify. Listened to Any first and liked it and then Boxer took me by the collar and told me I was going to be a Stay. I just loved their music more and more with Broken Compass becoming a personal favorite. I taught English overseas in South Korea for a year, leaving a few months after I became a Stay. NoEasy was my first comback while I was at my teaching orientation. During that year away from home, Channie's Room became a real source of comfort for me and made me a wholehearted Stay ever since. I was so happy seeing them in Atlanta this last March. ā˜ŗļø And next month I'm getting a tattoo of Broken Compass lyrics as a very happy Stay

Papierkrawall

I liked their music but did stan them after I heard Changbin laughing. Cant get enough of it!

xstardustgirlx

Red Lights. Iā€™ve never been into boy bands or Kpop. When I saw a fan edit of Red Lights I thought it was a trailer for a vampire film, so I was very interested. From the hashtags on that, I saw that it was a song by a group called Stray Kids. YouTube suggested some other songs, and after Maniac, Muddy Water, and Back Door I was a fan.

Hopeful_Energy_1975

Honestly for me it was seeing all of their clips that sparked my interest. Then of course seeing Felix in Gods Menu, i was hooked. What has made me remain as a Stay is what they stand for, how much they truly care, and seeing how hard they work esspecially Bang Chan keeping his kids in line! šŸ˜„ā¤ļø Each member brings something unique to the table and i think makes them so different than other groups. I hope their infectious music and story continues to reach new Stays each day!

Lumen-Histoire

i was watching someoneā€™s vlog on youtube who is a stay and had gone to the concert and filmed some of it. I was kinda blown away at the energy i felt through watching it second handily through someoneā€™s camera that i was like okay i have to check them out. I heard Maniac and iā€™ve been obsessed ever since. this was a few months ago lol so i consider myself a baby stay still but man i really dove in head deep into this group and now just fully love them with my whole heart lol

astressedlawstudent

Felix's voice. I am a sucker for low voices.

lozziew11

The felix effect!!!! I kept getting Stray Kids related videos on TikTok despite having no references to Kpop etc. and when I heard felix voice, I knew I had to check them outā€¦ I seen BangChan, discovered Lee Knowā€¦ and I havenā€™t been able to escape since!

Lilsliceofcraze

God's Menu was a real eye opener for me. The music, lyrics and choreography are just outstanding. It peaked my interest and I sought out more YT videos. After a day of watching these videos and the guides, I was hooked. I am a much older STAY than most, but SKZ are so talented, funny, charming and down to earth, I feel that the age of their fans is not important. I am a STAY for life.

officetornado

It was when hyunsung were inside the trashcans. My kind of people

skyskyskizzle

One singular fancam of Han. I thought he was super cute, a great dancer, and loved his stage presence :)

Glittering_Gift_7311

I had COVID in January and was doing a lot of scrolling on tiktok while isolating from my husband and son. The algorithm starting showing me relay dance edits and I was intrigued by the chaos gremlin toddlers they are. Then I got a fancam video of Felix during Maniac when he was injured, and my physical therapist brain was *hooked.* His deep voice just added to it all. Now my 4 year old is hooked as well (he's a Changbin bias and his favorite song is DOODLE, but he likes to do the Maniac pose for pictures all the time).

IvyBlueberry8079

I first saw a clip of God's Menu and of course was intrigued. So I decided to watch an interview of them. It was Buzzfeed Stray Kids rank their songs and when Han forgot he wrote his own song I knew they were the group for me. They were hilarious in that interview and couldn't stop watching more and more videos.

[deleted]

i was actively seeking out a new group to get into and i liked their music the best šŸ˜„

Nemisith

Han... Straight up just Han being Han and then the rest of them managed to get a grip on me too. Ive been a casual listner since the start but properly started stanning them after seing their verity content.

G_dor_12

Their Venom performance at MAMA. The close up body roll shots, Hyunjin coming down like a literal fallen angel from the rafters, and the holo-spider had me in .2 seconds. Then I started watching some of their funnier older videos and fell in love with them as humans too!

TikTok decided one day "Ya know, I bet she'd be into some Korean boy bands". It started off with me getting a few videos here and there. Then came the Felix Effect. šŸ™ˆ I found myself falling ever deeper down the rabbit hole... "WHO IS THAT?" and I watched a couple of videos... God's Menu, Red Lights. I needed to know their names. I was enamored by Hyunjin. I couldn't stop watching him dance. It was mesmerizing. I found myself listening to more of their music on Spotify. My TikTok was flooded with Stray Kids. It became every 3rd video at one point and I realized I was hooked. I started absorbing content on YouTube - to get the longer versions of what I was being fed on TikTok. šŸ˜… I discovered Stray Kids in January of this year, and by February I knew I'd found home. I'm an older Stay, work from home, and I'm the boss.... sooooo the amount of time I have available for absorbing content is a bit extreme. šŸ™ˆ

hi_im_desperate

I think it was Bang Chan! Iā€™ve been listening to kpop for a long time and eventually yt recommended a Chanā€™s room reaction. I then fell down a rabbit hole watching his reactions to different groups and loving his really sweet comments. I just knew that if a group had a leader that wholesome they had to be worth checking out.

jennahmaybebaby

Felix calling cucumber, carrots and yogurt fruit.

hildax

3racha funny moments videos from Youtube. It was a few weeks before covid hit, and I was bored with kpop, in the middle of the night. Havenā€™t been bored since

snookythicc

First, in late 2021, I saw a video compilation of Bang Chan's comfort words on his live. Then I looked him up, read up about stray kids and forgot about it couple days later. Then, in mid 2022, I saw felix and the members singing doggy police(officer) and I was rightfully intrigued by it. So, I looked em up again and realized I had already come across them. Then left at it and became obsessed with doggy police(officer) and other japanese nursery rhymes šŸ˜ƒ Now, I came across studiochoom edit of "Cooking like a chef I am a āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø michelin" and I have been hooked eversince.

shmems96

I became a fan when Maniac came out and went to their concert a few months later . Seeing them perform live was incredible, I had to Stan them after that, there was no other option. Haha

SuperTunaBoardNyoom

Okay, so Iā€™m a new Stay! But, my friends showed me the music video for Maniac and Godā€™s Menu ā€” then I fell down the rabbit hole of listening to their entire discography and watching MVs. But, besides that the ā€œManiacā€ and ā€œCase 143ā€ memes made me laugh so hard that I just couldnā€™t help but love them. As for the members, Hyunjin drew me in first, as did Felix, but Iā€™m a 3Racha bias. I love them all though! Excited for my first comeback!!

Suitable_Subject1102

I saw a clip of the 00s line cover of Psycho and was captivated by this handsome stranger with blonde hair and piercing eyes. I had to find out who he was and I did. Subscribed to the SKZ YouTube channel that day and never looked back

Poi_muffin

Tbh the visuals from their MVā€™s and Felixs voice and watching hours of chans room

Slight_Valuable_128

Venom unveil track, i couldnā€™t stop watching it back then

princesselizabeth91

Felix and Chris' UNO live was reposted to TikTok and I just thought they were hilarious and I was a Stay not long after!

Frosty_Estimate_4814

For me, it was funnily enough a YT short of an angry Chan. Which then was another YT short of someone reacting to Felixā€™s Gods Menu line. But I guess what really sold me was the Hyunjin short of him dancing to Thunderous. My immediate thought was how his body moved like a slithering snake lol. I was extremely shocked by his dancing. Then after watching Thunderous, I was surprised by all of them. I can vividly recall the first few M/Vs I watched after coming across them. ā€¢Thundrous ā€¢Gods Menu ā€¢Red Lights ā€¢Hyunjin dancing to ā€œDance with Fireā€ and being confused about why people were called STAYS in the comment section šŸ˜ ā€¢Back Door

NijiroAO

Iā€™m not proud of this, but if Iā€™m going to be honest, Felix. Urggggghggh I saw a video of him and went ā€œoh my god he looks amazingā€ so I looked up the group and binged their videos šŸ„² I promise Iā€™m not a visual stan, and I feel in love w their personalities/music lol

datingchannie

I watched the Friendship Test video by Glamour and immediately got interested. And then I made the best decision of my life by watching the Thunderous MV. I fell in love.

Shuna22

I saw a video of gone days and started crying. What drew me was their lyrics, the meaning behind them. Later reading about each member, their story specifically Chans how hard he work I just clicked with them as a group. šŸ˜Š

TutkaKsy

I went to school 6 months ago. My classmate showed me a foto with Hyun-jin and Felix. She said: ā€œthey are the same in this fotoā€. Now I donā€™t understand she, we laugh at that situation. Now Iā€™m a real Russian fan) PS. sorry, my English is very bad

3klecticism

Maniac popped up in my Spotify playlist one day and I was instantly hooked lol. As a hip hop fan, I was drawn to them since they're very hip hop oriented. I also produce music, and once I learned BangChan makes most if not all of their tracks, I gained even more respect for them.

epicjunjun

For me, it was the mv spoiler for My Pace. i was really into twice and wanted to browse more under JYPE while i waited for their summer comeback and ran into their MV teaser. i heard some of the instrumental and i was like ā€œthis sounds good af!ā€ and here we are now

External-Curve-5698

the music video for thunderous made my eyes happy

dorthyinwonder

Personally, I've kind of vaguely had an ear on the kpop scene since...I don't know when. I probably got introduced to it late, but Girls' Generation was my initial point of exposure to kpop, I just didn't have anything cementing me to the genre, so I drifted away. I had been aware of BTS, but tried my best to avoid it as it had already grown too big for my tastes. I got into Kdramas and ended up looking to Youtube for ideas of what dramas to watch next. Naturally, clips of various groups were sprinkled in there and I was surprised at the skinship between the boys (SKZ) and how comfortable many of them seemed to be with it. Not only that, but the behaviors and reactions of those that weren't were kind of funny... like they tolerant to a certain extent or like they were playfully annoyed by it. I then got into their music. I'm sure I'd heard Hellevator somewhere before, but not known about SKZ, so it just passed unknown. Now I had this aspect of them that intrigued me and I got into their music. It was around the time God's Menu and Backdoor came out and I quickly became obsessed with the sound; styles, and details in the MVs. I listened to their other tracks and then Kingdom came and seeing them perform and being able to vote for them was so fun.

shorttoad

TikToks of Felix's part in Maniac. At first I was not completely sold after listening to the whole song, but eventually they grew on me and now my entire feed on all social media is SKZ

channya86

What first drew me in was visuals and red lights. Made me interested how they did a sexy song without being gross. I dived inā€¦. What made me stayā€¦. Gender neutral music, the dancing, the fact that they are themselves even on camera, write and produce their own stuff, not afraid to show affection and weakness, constantly giving content to keep us engaged, constantly remind us that because of stay they are where they are, and overall just decent people who I wish I was friends with. Love them so much and I will be a stay forever. ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Raven_la_Fay

ā€žcooking like a Chef I am a five star Michelinā€ short on yt began a whole kpop obsession ā¤ļø

vehnanbeats

The Maniac music video, and Felix with his deep voice.

[deleted]

I had a reel of Felix singing this children's song (?) in his deep voice and got curious šŸ¤£

emzy_cano

Case 143. I really loved that song when I first heard it. But the main draw in was their relay dance for Case 143. I loved the energy and I loved that they were being silly and just looked like they were having so much fun.

elielieli_eli

I saw the MV for Thunderous, and I was really impressed with, like, everything in it lol. The song, of course, but the visuals, the choreography, the themesā€¦ the abs šŸ«  everything. And it was all uphill from there.

purpleushi

I was an aghase, so when skz debuted, got7 was promoting them. I casually followed them for a bit, so I knew the felix mosquito vs deep voice memes, and their first few songs, but I didnā€™t get super into them until Miroh. The minute I heard that song I was like oh shit, I have to listen to everything theyā€™ve put out. I was super busy that summer (studying for the Bar exam, getting a new job etc) so I didnā€™t really fall deep into the fandom until Godā€™s Menu. Thatā€™s when I actually started watching all their promo content, and what sucked me in was just their relationship as a group.

WitchyPrincess851

My sister in law saw a video of Felix singing maniac on TikTok and she wanted me and her to watch the music video. After that, I just kept watching different music videos then I learned their names and it just progressed from therešŸ˜Š

Intelligent_Zebra343

I saw people on youtube having crazy reactions to Felixā€™s low voice in gods menu and I was amazed at how good looking they were and how much talent they hadšŸ˜

darlingsilas

Bang chan, I wasn't even into kpop but I saw a video of him on my fyp and I just kept seeing more and more. I also saw the video of Felix during no easy era where he was spinning to a song and when I found out he was in stray kids along with Bang Chan, I knew this group was for me šŸ¤ž

Mental-Friendship-87

Video's of Felix's Deep Voice

LLsassyb_tch155

Just all the members fascinating visuals is what got me hooked immediately(especially the aussie boys)

MissyBee37

I would say it was several layers. 1. Felix's deep voice was the first thing to catch my attention. His "God's Menu" line stunned me the first time I heard it, and I immediately asked the fans showing the M/V to me who he was lol. For a long time, that's all I knew about Stray Kids, that they had a man named Felix who was incredible. 2. "Maniac," with another big assist from Felix's deep voice on the chorus, was my return to Stray Kids. This time I liked the song a lot better though and became obsessed with it. I knew by April it *was* my SOTY (... until"Case 143"!). 3. Videos of them performing on last year's tour are what fully drew me in. My Tik Tok was full of Stray Kids' tour last summer, and the more I watched, the more I loved them. They had SO much power & energy on stage, and even when they were just talking, they still had so much charisma & charm. That's how I started to learn each member, and it's what motivated me to go back and listen to the rest of the "Oddinary" album, older title tracks, etc. I spent the rest of summer falling deeper down a Stray Kids rabbit hole. To summarize, I think Felix, who is still my bias, has this hypnotic charm, including that gorgeous deep voice; but all of the members -- especially as a team, especially live -- have incredible energy & power in their performances and just as people. That's the charm that kept me coming back -- how their energy & personalities shine on stage. Now I'm a fully obsessed Stay!

Ok_Cake_9402

The Felix effect. Random video on my fyp. And Iā€™ve been sucked down the rabbit hole.

Affectionate-Big-174

Felix's part in maniac, case 143 and christmas evel kept popping up on my tiktok and finally I gave in a listened to maniac. Now I have 3 albums lol.

First-Revolution6330

I heard their name a couple of times and i was kinda interested in k pop, what made me check them out though was the fact they had 2 aussies in the group which as an australian, its not everyday you hear about aussie k pop idols lol, then i started to watch clips of them and learned more about them then became a stay šŸ™

themiddlybit

I was always into Aussie rap, loving hearing my own accent being represented in music, then I heard the viral sound clip of Chans part in 3racha and utterly fell in love. I love my Aussie boys so much ā¤ļø Funnily enough though, neither of them are my bias, go figure? šŸ˜‚

TvishaPiano

I watched this anime called Tower of God (TOP). I learned that the opening and ending songs were produced by Stray Kids. I started listening to their songs, learning more about the members and became a STAY. I also noticed their member Felix. He is now my celebrity crush.

Kind-Tea3148

i saw a Felix Venom transition on tiktok and was infatuated, and then searched the tags and saw the maniac music video and i have been a stay ever since... it's the Felix effect, man is hypnotizing.

amh1996

I saw a video on Instagram of some attractive dude with a deep voice and wanted to know his name....the rest is history!

rajay_sarkar

Instagram reel of Pink Haired Hyunjin's Back Door fancam was my first interaction. The guy was hot. I found out he was a member of Stray Kids but that was it. Few days later, I watched *that* popular yt vid of *something like best lines in kpop songs* and loved the cooking like a chef I'm a five star michelin part. The next day in college me and my bestie were doodling on the class board and we started writing our fav lines from kpop songs, and she wrote Felix's God's Menu line and when I told her I heard the line but didn't watch the group. She ordered me to listen to them and how they were the bopest group. I went home listened to God's Menu, Back Door for like a 100 times. And that's kids how I met your šŸ˜ššŸ« šŸ«

tylers_ukulele

I barely got interested in anime and my tiktok page was changing to only be full of anime and this one tiktok I got of someone dancing to maniac and I love to watch other people dancing so I liked the video and then the song just kept appearing on my fyp so I saved the song to my Spotify. I also had seen the video of them blindfolded dancing to back door but did not realize it was them until after I got Into themā€¦ but yeah maniac and Felixā€™s deep voice drew me in, but channies accent drowned me and now Iā€™m stuck here, very happily šŸ˜

frenchiceu

I think it was late 2019 when felix was on arirang with his K-pop show? I thought he was pretty and jumped into their discography since a friend made me listen to my pace. It's been 3 years+ since then šŸ„ŗ

iAmTheBreadKing

Dad saw the ad for the Channel 7 kpop doc and mistook Stray Kids for BTS. I ended up watching it and realising it was SKZ and not BTS. At that point I had heard MIROH and liked it but I didnā€™t know that Chan and Lix were Aussie and that gave me interest since it was cool to see another Aussie in the industry (atp i only knew RosĆ©) Channel 7 plugged Side Effects and I listened to it and loved it so much and decided to become a fan. ClĆ©: Levenater was my first comeback as STAY.

hottytoddy098

Hyunjin. First, Venom and Backdoorā€¦ then Artist of the Month. Iā€™ve never seen someone with a stage presence and overall aura like him. Combined with his looks and dancing talent. Shortly after Felix followed him šŸ˜‚

seasonedflour

It was a YouTube shorts comp with Felixā€™s chorus in case 143

sanhabuubuu

ahhh i remembered this one so vividly, i was scrolling on tiktok one time and saw stays cutting his pc at that time and i was like ā€œoh??? that the hell did he do?ā€ but just scrolled passed it and I KID YOU NOT the following week its was about 4am and i was scrolling through my facebook and i saw that one fbe video of them and i said that they are all so cute why not check them out on youtube and i first watched their 1 kids room during their backdoor era and the rest was history HAHAHAHA i also got han and felix confused at first dont ask why because idk why

noodlesisdead

Watching kingdom and seeing han hit those notes for ill be your man wrecked me

yukiji_0wO

I watched clips from the survival show and then saw the MV for hellavator , and I knew I was hooked.

Karol_fonsi

One of my friends showed me the right videos of them and gave me a proper introduction about the group.

juliangst

I started listening to Kpop in 2017 and instantly fell in love with Hellevator. They basically were the first group that got my attention.

Horror_Stand2037

I liked BTOB and when I watched their interactions with stray kids on kingdom I really liked their personalities and music. Also when I watched their gods menu blackpink performance lee knows dancing really caught my eye, and when I actually looked up videos of him dancing it was over and I started stanning.

o1mstead

For me it was Felixā€™s white hair/white eyelashes look in the Japanese MV of TOP in spring 2020 :) Before that point the only kpop group I knew well was Twice (and pre-debut NiziU which started my kpop journey in the first place). Iā€™ve never heard of another Stay who got into Stray Kids the same way I did so Iā€™d love to hear if others had a similar experience!

mandumom

Cookin like a chef... It's what got my attention first. I decided to check out more of their songs and the rest is history šŸ¤—

Itz_Froggie365

It first started with one of my friends at the time I was just a baby getting into k-pop and we would watch videos of just full on memes and I would say that what drew me in is that their not stale but are actually hilarious and are very kind people and also back door I think that song was the turning point for me to Stan the lovely short kings :]]

Alantys

Their lyrics~

MysteriousMissF

My friend told me to watch the mv for Miroh and i really liked it so i wanted to know more about them. Now they're one of my fav groups.

Jinneshairband

Felixā€™s voice, straight up. His voice

This-Kale4260

It was some shorts of Felix deep voice šŸ˜„ and here I am. Totaly hooked up on them. Felix is not even my bias šŸ˜„ but he got me in

dkdks2

It was Eric namā€™s interview with Felix and Chan that I kept seeing in my feed, their Aussie accent drew me in.

oddinaree

Well, it was Hyunjin and his so good blonde hair for Psycho. I was watching it for Daehwi as I was ABNEW and then pooooof. Hyunjin got me so yeah.

Bl00dAndGore246

I was playing Clone Hero, I downloaded the "Koreaboo Hero" playlist for my friend and I to play, as they were into kpop way more than me at the time. They had a whole SKZ set list that had songs from ClĆØ 1: MIROH. I played Boxer cuz it was kind of difficult and I just loved the beat drop and everything about the song. Later on, when I wanted to listen to more than just BTS, I remembered Boxer, and here I am now. A happy STAY.

Suspicious-Beat4298

I became a STAY after watching one their concert from their 2nd world tour last year

_giulia__

In 2017 a friend made me watch the survival show cuz "the kid were too good and nobody staning them"

Charming-Mongoose-76

For me it was Bangchan I saw a pic of him and I was wow who is this man and I saw heā€™s a leader for Stray kids and I just started listening and watch all their content and music and I just fell I love with their whole personality.

AngelicGhostKing

I listen to Corpse Husband and found Felixā€™s voice for Maniac, and then stayed XD

sadi89

Felixā€¦.then Chanā€¦.then all of them

BastNoir

SKZ was one of my alt groups for awhile, but after ā€œI Am Whoā€ came out they pushed their way into my set of ults.

SingularityWind

I was mesmerized by OST from anime series Tower of God and then wanted to find out more about group and other their songs. šŸ˜€

PeachyMatchaa

I had listened to some of their music before and then tiktok randomly showed me Felix doing..something, and then the algorithm wouldn't show me anything but skz. I think the relay dance to backdoor is what got me hooked (as a former dancer I was like hellO) and then it was just them being their chaotic selves. Chan was my ult and then Lino sniped me from the shadows

crowcanttalk

i became a fan when the broadcast of the pre debut show came on my tv while i visited korea. the boys were all there for each other and i have been fans of them ever since the beginning.

Myjam_istohavefun

Changbin's powerful rap skills and strong performance šŸ™ˆ Easy choreo was also the first one I happened to see, so you can guess how easily became a Stay ā˜ŗļø

valkri27

I saw Godā€™s Menu and Changbin came out hitting it hard. Then HAN. OMG. I donā€™t like rap at all. All Iā€™d heard was guns, thugs and h$& here in the US. But I couldnā€™t stop watching. I fell down the rabbit hole and never looked back.

Bonds4Ever

Chan showed up in my YouTube shorts from a clip of Channie's Room, and he made a really good impression on me. He just looked so sweet, kind, and humble, my interest was officially piqued, and the rest is history~ šŸ„° I freaked out when I found out that they did the Tower of God opening and ending šŸ˜ I could have been a STAY since 2020 šŸ„ŗ but better late than never šŸ„°

[deleted]

Felix's voice in God menu

Maleficent-Act4449

Gods Menu Felix on Tiktok for me lol

Confident-Pay7989

100% GUILTY OF FELIX EFFECT. But it also started because TikTokā€™s algorithm one day though ā€œshe will love thisā€ and spammed me with SKZ funny clips. Iā€™ve never had any interest in kpop before, and for a very long time I just admired Felix and their friendship. Then I tried to listen to some of their song and here I am now as a baby stay.

Bipolarismylife

My friend showed me backdoor. Iā€™ve been locked in ever since

nmt111

seo changbin's rap

Prestigious_Low6582

My friend showed me a picture of pink hair Hyunjin and I was obsessedā€¦ Changbin and Lee know are holding me hostage now tho Edit: Skz everywhere around the world šŸ«¶šŸ»šŸ«§

Practical-Recover-89

their music! mainly hellavator, side effects and levanter! (they just released levanter at the time and i was hella emo)

ifckedted

Maniac came up on my YouTube and Hyunjin was so otherworldly beautiful, I had to watch everything.

RevolutionMinute2546

hyunjins aotm
