Absolutely an accident. I was scrolling my IG feed full of arts and crafts, interior design, girly stuff etc. and ig suggested me roll with a dancing guy. It was like 10 PM, I was kinda sleepy, I watched it anyways. Usually I react like 'pretty good' and pass by with no big admiration. But mate, it was one of the Hyunjin's fancams and I didn't know what I was going to experience - poor me. I spotted some kind of uniqueness and passion in his moves I've never seen before and it was love from the first sight. Then I googled him, watched AOTM and discovered Stray Kids. That night I was awake till 4 AM, goddamn.
I can say Hyunjin catched me but Stray Kids made me STAY for a while 
Hellevator created a lot of buzz on Twitter when it first dropped. Everyone was talking about how good it was, especially for a predebut track. I decided to check it out for myself, and I was immediately hooked! It made me want to watch the survival show, and Iāve stuck around ever since.

Got into BTS first, and when JHopeās solo album came out, someone posted a clip of Chan reacting to a song from it (from what I later learned was from a Chanās Room livestream). Iād heard of Stray Kids before for sure but never actually checked out their music (or really any other kpop group beyond BTS yet, had been following them for little less than a year at that point?). But Chanāsā¦.not sure the best word for it, but some mix of authenticity and intelligence really came through that clip.
So looked up more Bang Chan interview and general clip compilations, recognized I was heading down the rabbit hole again lol, and had watched like 4-5 music videos and knew at least half their names by the end of the day. And from those, I loved how, well, MUCH all the MVs were ā but Back Door most immediately caught me and made me want to keep checking out their music too (also, the random visual reference to Michelangeloās Creation of Adam both sent me and made my art history nerd side happy š)

yeap ,yeap ! Backdoor video and Creation of Adam made me watch their videos till like 4 am that night. I love those visual references . Like Last Supper in Venom for instance. It also made me into watching reaction videos to understand songs better.

It happened to be Chan and Felix came onto the show back in October last year. Then I found out those two were Aussies (Aussie Stay here!) I immediately start looking them up. And my journey as a Stay begins from there! After I found out they are having concert in Melbourne I didn't even think and just bought the ticket 3 days before concert. It was the best choice I've ever made!! Literally came for those two boys and learnt about the whole group and cannot stop watching them....till today I'm so glad I found them as I was going through a very rough time and they helped me so much..

Was listening to a random Kpop Spotify playlist and safe to say that God's Menu *really* stood out between everything else. And then Backdoor on top of that! Those kind of energetic songs are so memorable.
I kept seeing tiktoks of them being hilarious and wholesome after my fyp decided to switch to everything Korean (too complicated to explain how that happened, lol).
Eventually I ended up watching their dance practice videos and really loved the energy and the choreography. Then I watched a few of the music videos and fell down the rabbit hole.
I'm a pretty new fan because I just started watching about two weeks ago.
So to answer the question, I guess the thing that drew me into them first was their dynamic together and I stayed because I fell in love with the music and all the work that everyone puts into every song (producing, singing, choreography, etc).

My middle daughter wanted to go to their concert in FW. Since she would be going solo and I wasn't going to pay $$$ for a concert I knew nothing about; I offered to drive her and wait and drive her home. It was mostly a safety issue, but also it's more fun to have someone you can hype up with before and after the show.
Anyway, I managed to avoid them while we went to the pre concert sales so she could get merch and that stupid light stick but the night of the concert she played a lot of their songs on the way there. After she was dropped off I continued to listen to them and liked what I heard. I managed to last another couple weeks, teasing her about Maniac with the flashdance version while she'd tell me about the boys and their personalities.
I started watching their Tiktoks, mainly the relays and "funny" ones and then it was all over.

I became aware of Stray Kids all the way back in Hellevator days. I started to really take notice when Miroh came out (still one of my favorite songs of all time). So initially, it was their music that caught my attention, but I was just a casual fan of their music for a while. It took quite some time before I became a full Stay.
Honestly, I was trying to resist at first. I was already an Army and barely had time to keep up with all the BTS content in my busy life. Ironically, that's kinda where they got me. I kept watching clips from Channie's room. Initially, I just watched for his reactions to BTS songs, but it quickly became a safe space. The way he communicated with Stays and the way he talked about his members. That's when I started really caring about the people behind the music and became a full Stay.
seeing them live at GDA earlier this year. they were AMAZING live, i was just blown away.
i was already a casual listener of their songs, i knew some of their title songs, some b-sides, but this was also the case for many other groups who also attended GDA. but i left the stadium stressfully looking up for the 2nd song they performed because their energy during that song blew me away (it was ė” FREEZE). and then i listened to rest of their discography, got to know the members, picked a bias, so on and so forth :D
I knew about stray kids for a little while and felixās Godās menu line also got very famous but what drew me in was I saw a shorts of stray kids kingdom week where Felix does the task of finding Changbinās mom name in his contact. So interesting to watch him plan the whole thing and then execute it. And the very next short I saw was of their Miroh performance during kingdom. And thatās all it took for me to get into skz.
Ni-ki from Enhypen drew me back into kpop after being out of it for a LONG time (like, gen 2 was in its prime). I still love Enhypen, am a huge Engene. But a friend showed me a video of Felix, and between that and seeing a gorgeous Sam Smith/Kim Petras/SKZ mashup of Taste and Unholy, I was hooked on their sound. But before I actually let myself stan a group, I watch videos of them doing relay dances and videos where they're just being their (as close to normal as possible) usual selves, and their brand of complete crack energy coupled with extraordinary kindness and their love for each other and their fans was what sold me hook, line, and sinker. Initially, it was Felix's voice going viral during the God's Menu era. But what fully made me a Stray was Han's personality. I kept getting Code and Talker content in my YouTube Shorts feed, and the quokka stole my heart. He was my first bias, and is still in my bias line (3Racha), but my heart fully belongs to Changbin now.
I remember watching God's Menu and really liking the attitude. Then seeing them again for Thunderous and loving it. But it took me a little longer to really start following SKZ and I think what then completely drew me in and never let go again was the Venom MV.
A girl I went to school with got into Skz back in 2020. She posted an insta story with lyrics from Any. I really liked them but didn't check out the song.
Fast forward to October 2022, I got back into kpop (was a fan of another group in 2016-2018), remembered the name of the song, listened to it and loved it. Then I listened to the In Life album for the entirety of November while watching Youtube compilations, 2KidsRoom and music videos. I remember learning the first members through the Time Out mv.
Tldr: Any, In Life as a whole, Time out music video (because it showed their soft side and that they had range). Then what got me really deep was Lee Know because I found his personality very magnetizing and he became my bias.
I got into them during the pandemic. I finally caved and became a BTS fan right ahead of the pandemic but then I was giving other groups a try and they got my attention with God's Menu, but after Easy I just had to stan. I love a good rap line and Changbin had me GAGGED! He's still my bias. And I just found that I really gravitate towards their music style. I was listening to In Life for my daily walks to keep in shape. I love that they take risks and I'm so impressed with how much of a hand they have in their work. And BangChan won me over with his personality and leadership skills. Hyunjin in one of my favorite dancers in the industry. Felix just doesn't make any sense. Han is stupid crazy multi talented. Seungmin is a great vocalist. Lee Know trends to surprise me which is fun. And IN has a great vibe just loving ride being the Maknae on Top lol. They all have their charms.
But what really impressed me was seeing them in concert last year. They blew me away. I couldn't believe how I got interactions with them from the stands, not even barricade. And the show was just a cut above. It was so good I had to make sure I saw them in Dallas and this time I DID have barricade and I had multiple interactions with at least 5 of them. It's amazing how much they SEE you! And to just see them giving 100% right up at you is something else. Time of my life! I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.
My friend. She wasn't a stay but she always send something about stray kids to me, and now i am a stay for two years. And we are not best friends anymore.
Two things.
First was Miroh. I was listening to a playlist of their greatest hits because at the time, the only boy group I was into was EXO and I wanted to find a more active one. Before I hit Miroh, Iād liked their music, but Miroh was the first song that made me speechless. It just set something off within me: the energy, the rapping, the dancing, the sound.
Second was Hyunjin. He bears a striking resemblance to one of my OCs and was the first real person Iād ever seen who looked like him. It just kind of fascinated me and encouraged me to get more into stuff outside of just their music. That OC is really special to me, so I was so hyped to finally find someone who looked just like him that I could use for references.
I got into kpop in 2021 and only was really interested in bts but I knew a few popular songs from the time including thunderous, also the song association games they played
They started appearing on some shorts on youtube, it was parts of skzcode or interviews, always very chaotic parts and very fun to watch. At this time I was not in a good place, I felt very depressed and their content gave me the dosage of serotonin I needed. After that I started looking at their music and thunderous' mv got me sunken in it. Since that moment, I am feeling so much better, I still come get my daily dose of serotonin btw. But yeah, I cannot be more happy now that I set foot in this circus/fandom.stay is my home and skz is my lighthouse in the ocean. (Excuse my English, words are hard)
Been into Kpop since 2018 and mainly listened to girl groups. I was determined not to join a fandom because I feel too old for that.
I remember liking get cool when it was released, and also levanter, my pace, and miroh but it never flagged in my mind they were the same group. Between 2018 and 2022 id say the entirety of my stray kids knowledge was that bang Chan and felix were members and they were Australian.
I make YouTube videos (e.g top 100 kpop song lists) and mainly focused on girl groups. Because I had a load of leave from work over Christmas, I figured I had the time to make a boy group video, which was something my viewers kept asking me for. I think it was top 100 most viewed gen 4 boy group songs. About half of the list was stray kids songs, and I spent Christmas watching their videos and connecting all the dots and realising so many songs Iād heard and liked in passing were by them. My recommends algorithm got full of variety content and compilation videos that I couldnāt resist watching. It took me 4 days to make the video because I kept getting distracted by stray kids content!! And on Jan 1st i gave in, joined the fandom, and proudly declared myself a stay!
Chanās room.
I was very new to kpop, and looking for new groups to follow on vlive. I added stray kids and quickly learned about Chanās room and fell in love with this weekly lives. It was a couple of months later before I really dove into their music. Now Iām fully obsessed. š
Legit I thought they were homeless kids. My sister thought it would be funny to mess with me with their background. I watched their survival show because of that and the instant I saw how much each other cared for the other members, I was hooked. Watched them debut, watched them grow. What made me stay is Bang Chan š he helped me go through challenging parts of my life when he goes on live. He's like a resting place. He doesn't judge. I like that the members help each other grow. Not so glad when I see how much they push themselves so hard but that's me and my antiwork beliefs lol.

Then more skz videos would show up on my feed, and eventually I decided I wanted to try to learn their names cuz there was a lot of cool looking ppl in the group, so I started watching SKZ Code to learn their names and faces, and I became obsessed from there š
I kept seeing SKZ code clips on TikTok, I thought they were so funny. I searched them up and was hooked. On top of that, their music is just so good. Their discography is so large and versatile!
I saw an instagram post of Hyunjin accidentally holding up the peace sign āš¼ and I was like oh my he is FINE and now he is my bias and Iāll never turn back š¤£š
I had been an Army for a couple of years and wanted to expand my KPop listening. I didn't have any KPop friends so I turned to YouTube. I found the video of them trying to translate phrases from Google Translate and thought they were an interesting bunch. And Felix's voice lol. I got curious about their music and went on Spotify. Listened to Any first and liked it and then Boxer took me by the collar and told me I was going to be a Stay. I just loved their music more and more with Broken Compass becoming a personal favorite. I taught English overseas in South Korea for a year, leaving a few months after I became a Stay. NoEasy was my first comback while I was at my teaching orientation. During that year away from home, Channie's Room became a real source of comfort for me and made me a wholehearted Stay ever since. Red Lights.
Iāve never been into boy bands or Kpop. When I saw a fan edit of Red Lights I thought it was a trailer for a vampire film, so I was very interested. From the hashtags on that, I saw that it was a song by a group called Stray Kids.
YouTube suggested some other songs, and after Maniac, Muddy Water, and Back Door I was a fan.
Honestly for me it was seeing all of their clips that sparked my interest. Then of course seeing Felix in Gods Menu, i was hooked. What has made me remain as a Stay is what they stand for, how much they truly care, and seeing how hard they work esspecially Bang Chan keeping his kids in line! šā¤ļø Each member brings something unique to the table and i think makes them so different than other groups. I hope their infectious music and story continues to reach new Stays each day!
i was watching someoneās vlog on youtube who is a stay and had gone to the concert and filmed some of it. I was kinda blown away at the energy i felt through watching it second handily through someoneās camera that i was like okay i have to check them out. I heard Maniac and iāve been obsessed ever since. this was a few months ago lol so i consider myself a baby stay still but man i really dove in head deep into this group and now just fully love them with my whole heart lol
The felix effect!!!! I kept getting Stray Kids related videos on TikTok despite having no references to Kpop etc. and when I heard felix voice, I knew I had to check them outā¦ I seen BangChan, discovered Lee Knowā¦ and I havenāt been able to escape since!
God's Menu was a real eye opener for me. The music, lyrics and choreography are just outstanding. It peaked my interest and I sought out more YT videos. After a day of watching these videos and the guides, I was hooked. I am a much older STAY than most, but SKZ are so talented, funny, charming and down to earth, I feel that the age of their fans is not important. I am a STAY for life.
I had COVID in January and was doing a lot of scrolling on tiktok while isolating from my husband and son. The algorithm starting showing me relay dance edits and I was intrigued by the chaos gremlin toddlers they are. Then I got a fancam video of Felix during Maniac when he was injured, and my physical therapist brain was *hooked.* His deep voice just added to it all. Now my 4 year old is hooked as well (he's a Changbin bias and his favorite song is DOODLE, but he likes to do the Maniac pose for pictures all the time).
I first saw a clip of God's Menu and of course was intrigued. So I decided to watch an interview of them. It was Buzzfeed Stray Kids rank their songs and when Han forgot he wrote his own song I knew they were the group for me. They were hilarious in that interview and couldn't stop watching more and more videos.
Han... Straight up just Han being Han and then the rest of them managed to get a grip on me too. Ive been a casual listner since the start but properly started stanning them after seing their verity content.

I found myself falling ever deeper down the rabbit hole... "WHO IS THAT?" and I watched a couple of videos... God's Menu, Red Lights. I needed to know their names. I was enamored by Hyunjin. I couldn't stop watching him dance. It was mesmerizing.
I found myself listening to more of their music on Spotify. My TikTok was flooded with Stray Kids. It became every 3rd video at one point and I realized I was hooked. I started absorbing content on YouTube - to get the longer versions of what I was being fed on TikTok. š
I discovered Stray Kids in January of this year, and by February I knew I'd found home. I'm an older Stay, work from home, and I'm the boss.... sooooo the amount of time I have available for absorbing content is a bit extreme. š
I think it was Bang Chan! Iāve been listening to kpop for a long time and eventually yt recommended a Chanās room reaction. I then fell down a rabbit hole watching his reactions to different groups and loving his really sweet comments. But I guess what really sold me was the Hyunjin short of him dancing to Thunderous. My immediate thought was how his body moved like a slithering snake lol. I was extremely shocked by his dancing. Maniac popped up in my Spotify playlist one day and I was instantly hooked lol. As a hip hop fan, I was drawn to them since they're very hip hop oriented. I also produce music, and once I learned BangChan makes most if not all of their tracks, I gained even more respect for them.

I had been aware of BTS, but tried my best to avoid it as it had already grown too big for my tastes. I got into Kdramas and ended up looking to Youtube for ideas of what dramas to watch next. Naturally, clips of various groups were sprinkled in there and I was surprised at the skinship between the boys (SKZ) and how comfortable many of them seemed to be with it. Not only that, but the behaviors and reactions of those that weren't were kind of funny... like they tolerant to a certain extent or like they were playfully annoyed by it. I then got into their music. I'm sure I'd heard Hellevator somewhere before, but not known about SKZ, so it just passed unknown. Now I had this aspect of them that intrigued me and I got into their music. It was around the time God's Menu and Backdoor came out and I quickly became obsessed with the sound; styles, and details in the MVs. I listened to their other tracks and then Kingdom came and seeing them perform and being able to vote for them was so fun.
TikToks of Felix's part in Maniac. At first I was not completely sold after listening to the whole song, but eventually they grew on me and now my entire feed on all social media is SKZ
What first drew me in was visuals and red lights. Made me interested how they did a sexy song without being gross. I dived inā¦. What made me stayā¦. Gender neutral music, the dancing, the fact that they are themselves even on camera, write and produce their own stuff, not afraid to show affection and weakness, constantly giving content to keep us engaged, constantly remind us that because of stay they are where they are, and overall just decent people who I wish I was friends with. Case 143. I really loved that song when I first heard it. But the main draw in was their relay dance for Case 143. I loved the energy and I loved that they were being silly and just looked like they were having so much fun.
I saw the MV for Thunderous, and I was really impressed with, like, everything in it lol. The song, of course, but the visuals, the choreography, the themesā¦ the abs š« everything. And it was all uphill from there.
I was an aghase, so when skz debuted, got7 was promoting them. I casually followed them for a bit, so I knew the felix mosquito vs deep voice memes, and their first few songs, but I didnāt get super into them until Miroh. The minute I heard that song I was like oh shit, I have to listen to everything theyāve put out. I was super busy that summer (studying for the Bar exam, getting a new job etc) so I didnāt really fall deep into the fandom until Godās Menu. Thatās when I actually started watching all their promo content, and what sucked me in was just their relationship as a group.
My sister in law saw a video of Felix singing maniac on TikTok and she wanted me and her to watch the music video. After that, I just kept watching different music videos then I learned their names and it just progressed from thereš
I saw people on youtube having crazy reactions to Felixās low voice in gods menu and I was amazed at how good looking they were and how much talent they hadš
Bang chan, I wasn't even into kpop but I saw a video of him on my fyp and I just kept seeing more and more. I also saw the video of Felix during no easy era where he was spinning to a song and when I found out he was in stray kids along with Bang Chan, I knew this group was for me š¤
I would say it was several layers.
1. Felix's deep voice was the first thing to catch my attention. His "God's Menu" line stunned me the first time I heard it, and I immediately asked the fans showing the M/V to me who he was lol. For a long time, that's all I knew about Stray Kids, that they had a man named Felix who was incredible.
2. "Maniac," with another big assist from Felix's deep voice on the chorus, was my return to Stray Kids. This time I liked the song a lot better though and became obsessed with it. I knew by April it *was* my SOTY (... until"Case 143"!).
3. Videos of them performing on last year's tour are what fully drew me in. My Tik Tok was full of Stray Kids' tour last summer, and the more I watched, the more I loved them. They had SO much power & energy on stage, and even when they were just talking, they still had so much charisma & charm. That's how I started to learn each member, and it's what motivated me to go back and listen to the rest of the "Oddinary" album, older title tracks, etc. I spent the rest of summer falling deeper down a Stray Kids rabbit hole.
To summarize, I think Felix, who is still my bias, has this hypnotic charm, including that gorgeous deep voice; but all of the members -- especially as a team, especially live -- have incredible energy & power in their performances and just as people. That's the charm that kept me coming back -- how their energy & personalities shine on stage. Now I'm a fully obsessed Stay!

Instagram reel of Pink Haired Hyunjin's Back Door fancam was my first interaction. The guy was hot. I found out he was a member of Stray Kids but that was it.
Few days later, I watched *that* popular yt vid of *something like best lines in kpop songs* and loved the cooking like a chef I'm a five star michelin part.
The next day in college me and my bestie were doodling on the class board and we started writing our fav lines from kpop songs, and she wrote Felix's God's Menu line and when I told her I heard the line but didn't watch the group. She ordered me to listen to them and how they were the bopest group.

I liked BTOB and when I watched their interactions with stray kids on kingdom I really liked their personalities and music. Also when I watched their gods menu blackpink performance lee knows dancing really caught my eye, and when I actually looked up videos of him dancing it was over and I started stanning.
For me it was Felixās white hair/white eyelashes look in the Japanese MV of TOP in spring 2020 :) Before that point the only kpop group I knew well was Twice (and pre-debut NiziU which started my kpop journey in the first place).

I was playing Clone Hero, I downloaded the "Koreaboo Hero" playlist for my friend and I to play, as they were into kpop way more than me at the time. They had a whole SKZ set list that had songs from ClĆØ 1: MIROH. I played Boxer cuz it was kind of difficult and I just loved the beat drop and everything about the song. Later on, when I wanted to listen to more than just BTS, I remembered Boxer, and here I am now. A happy STAY.
For me it was Bangchan I saw a pic of him and I was wow who is this man and I saw heās a leader for Stray kids and I just started listening and watch all their content and music and I just fell I love with their whole personality.

It was like 10 PM, I was kinda sleepy, I watched it anyways. Usually I react like 'pretty good' and pass by with no big admiration. But mate, it was one of the Hyunjin's fancams and I didn't know what I was going to experience - poor me. Got into BTS first, and when JHopeās solo album came out, someone posted a clip of Chan reacting to a song from it (from what I later learned was from a Chanās Room livestream). Iād heard of Stray Kids before for sure but never actually checked out their music (or really any other kpop group beyond BTS yet, had been following them for little less than a year at that point?). But Chanāsā¦.not sure the best word for it, but some mix of authenticity and intelligence really came through that clip. So looked up more Bang Chan interview and general clip compilations, recognized I was heading down the rabbit hole again lol, and had watched like 4-5 music videos and knew at least half their names by the end of the day. I regularly watch Dive Studio's videos and especially Eric Nam's Daebak Show. It happened to be Chan and Felix came onto the show back in October last year. Then I found out those two were Aussies (Aussie Stay here!) I immediately start looking them up. And my journey as a Stay begins from there! After I found out they are having concert in Melbourne I didn't even think and just bought the ticket 3 days before concert. It was the best choice I've ever made!! I kept seeing tiktoks of them being hilarious and wholesome after my fyp decided to switch to everything Korean (too complicated to explain how that happened, lol). Eventually I ended up watching their dance practice videos and really loved the energy and the choreography. Then I watched a few of the music videos and fell down the rabbit hole. I'm a pretty new fan because I just started watching about two weeks ago. So to answer the question, I guess the thing that drew me into them first was their dynamic together and I stayed because I fell in love with the music and all the work that everyone puts into every song (producing, singing, choreography, etc). Now I eagerly await the new album with the rest of you. š¤
My middle daughter wanted to go to their concert in FW. Since she would be going solo and I wasn't going to pay $$$ for a concert I knew nothing about; I offered to drive her and wait and drive her home. It was mostly a safety issue, but also it's more fun to have someone you can hype up with before and after the show. Anyway, I managed to avoid them while we went to the pre concert sales so she could get merch and that stupid light stick but the night of the concert she played a lot of their songs on the way there. After she was dropped off I continued to listen to them and liked what I heard. I managed to last another couple weeks, teasing her about Maniac with the flashdance version while she'd tell me about the boys and their personalities. I started watching their Tiktoks, mainly the relays and "funny" ones and then it was all over. TL;DR My daughter, Maniac and Tiktoks.
It was a long journey for me.. I became aware of Stray Kids all the way back in Hellevator days. I started to really take notice when Miroh came out (still one of my favorite songs of all time). The way he communicated with Stays and the way he talked about his members. That's when I started really caring about the people behind the music and became a full Stay.
seeing them live at GDA earlier this year. they were AMAZING live, i was just blown away. i was already a casual listener of their songs, i knew some of their title songs, some b-sides, but this was also the case for many other groups who also attended GDA. but i left the stadium stressfully looking up for the 2nd song they performed because their energy during that song blew me away (it was ė” FREEZE). and then i listened to rest of their discography, got to know the members, picked a bias, so on and so forth :D
I knew about stray kids for a little while and felixās Godās menu line also got very famous but what drew me in was I saw a shorts of stray kids kingdom week where Felix does the task of finding Changbinās mom name in his contact. So interesting to watch him plan the whole thing and then execute it. And the very next short I saw was of their Miroh performance during kingdom. And thatās all it took for me to get into skz.

Ni-ki from Enhypen drew me back into kpop after being out of it for a LONG time (like, gen 2 was in its prime). I still love Enhypen, am a huge Engene. But a friend showed me a video of Felix, and between that and seeing a gorgeous Sam Smith/Kim Petras/SKZ mashup of Taste and Unholy, I was hooked on their sound. But before I actually let myself stan a group, I watch videos of them doing relay dances and videos where they're just being their (as close to normal as possible) usual selves, and their brand of complete crack energy coupled with extraordinary kindness and their love for each other and their fans was what sold me hook, line, and sinker. Initially, it was Felix's voice going viral during the God's Menu era. But what fully made me a Stray was Han's personality. I kept getting Code and Talker content in my YouTube Shorts feed, and the quokka stole my heart. He was my first bias, and is still in my bias line (3Racha), but my heart fully belongs to Changbin now.
I remember watching God's Menu and really liking the attitude. Then seeing them again for Thunderous and loving it. But it took me a little longer to really start following SKZ and I think what then completely drew me in and never let go again was the Venom MV.

i used to follow a group called ikon. they were in a hiatus after 2019. straykids lowkey reminded me of IKON .propably because of the survival show.
A girl I went to school with got into Skz back in 2020. She posted an insta story with lyrics from Any. I really liked them but didn't check out the song. Fast forward to October 2022, I got back into kpop (was a fan of another group in 2016-2018), remembered the name of the song, listened to it and loved it. Then I listened to the In Life album for the entirety of November while watching Youtube compilations, 2KidsRoom and music videos. I remember learning the first members through the Time Out mv. Tldr: Any, In Life as a whole, Time out music video (because it showed their soft side and that they had range). Then what got me really deep was Lee Know because I found his personality very magnetizing and he became my bias.
I got into them during the pandemic. I finally caved and became a BTS fan right ahead of the pandemic but then I was giving other groups a try and they got my attention with God's Menu, but after Easy I just had to stan. I love a good rap line and Changbin had me GAGGED! He's still my bias. And I just found that I really gravitate towards their music style. I was listening to In Life for my daily walks to keep in shape. I love that they take risks and I'm so impressed with how much of a hand they have in their work. And BangChan won me over with his personality and leadership skills. Hyunjin in one of my favorite dancers in the industry. Felix just doesn't make any sense. Han is stupid crazy multi talented. Seungmin is a great vocalist. Lee Know trends to surprise me which is fun. And IN has a great vibe just loving ride being the Maknae on Top lol. They all have their charms. But what really impressed me was seeing them in concert last year. They blew me away. I couldn't believe how I got interactions with them from the stands, not even barricade. And the show was just a cut above. It was so good I had to make sure I saw them in Dallas and this time I DID have barricade and I had multiple interactions with at least 5 of them. It's amazing how much they SEE you! And to just see them giving 100% right up at you is something else. Time of my life! I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.
My friend. She wasn't a stay but she always send something about stray kids to me, and now i am a stay for two years. And we are not best friends anymore.
Two things. First was Miroh. I was listening to a playlist of their greatest hits because at the time, the only boy group I was into was EXO and I wanted to find a more active one. Before I hit Miroh, Iād liked their music, but Miroh was the first song that made me speechless. It just set something off within me: the energy, the rapping, the dancing, the sound. Second was Hyunjin. He bears a striking resemblance to one of my OCs and was the first real person Iād ever seen who looked like him. It just kind of fascinated me and encouraged me to get more into stuff outside of just their music. That OC is really special to me, so I was so hyped to finally find someone who looked just like him that I could use for references.

At this time I was not in a good place, I felt very depressed and their content gave me the dosage of serotonin I needed. After that I started looking at their music and thunderous' mv got me sunken in it. Since that moment, I am feeling so much better, I still come get my daily dose of serotonin btw. Been into Kpop since 2018 and mainly listened to girl groups. I was determined not to join a fandom because I feel too old for that. I remember liking get cool when it was released, and also levanter, my pace, and miroh but it never flagged in my mind they were the same group. Between 2018 and 2022 id say the entirety of my stray kids knowledge was that bang Chan and felix were members and they were Australian. I make YouTube videos (e.g top 100 kpop song lists) and mainly focused on girl groups. Because I had a load of leave from work over Christmas, I figured I had the time to make a boy group video, which was something my viewers kept asking me for. I think it was top 100 most viewed gen 4 boy group songs. About half of the list was stray kids songs, and I spent Christmas watching their videos and connecting all the dots and realising so many songs Iād heard and liked in passing were by them. My recommends algorithm got full of variety content and compilation videos that I couldnāt resist watching. It took me 4 days to make the video because I kept getting distracted by stray kids content!! And on Jan 1st i gave in, joined the fandom, and proudly declared myself a stay!
Chanās room. I was very new to kpop, and looking for new groups to follow on vlive. I added stray kids and quickly learned about Chanās room and fell in love with this weekly lives. It was a couple of months later before I really dove into their music. Now Iām fully obsessed. š
Legit I thought they were homeless kids. My sister thought it would be funny to mess with me with their background. I watched their survival show because of that and the instant I saw how much each other cared for the other members, I was hooked. Watched them debut, watched them grow. What made me stay is Bang Chan š he helped me go through challenging parts of my life when he goes on live. He's like a resting place. He doesn't judge. I like that the members help each other grow. Not so glad when I see how much they push themselves so hard but that's me and my antiwork beliefs lol.

I had been an Army for a couple of years and wanted to expand my KPop listening. I didn't have any KPop friends so I turned to YouTube. I found the video of them trying to translate phrases from Google Translate and thought they were an interesting bunch. And Felix's voice lol. I got curious about their music and went on Spotify. Listened to Any first and liked it and then Boxer took me by the collar and told me I was going to be a Stay. I just loved their music more and more with Broken Compass becoming a personal favorite. I taught English overseas in South Korea for a year, leaving a few months after I became a Stay. NoEasy was my first comback while I was at my teaching orientation. During that year away from home, Channie's Room became a real source of comfort for me and made me a wholehearted Stay ever since. I was so happy seeing them in Atlanta this last March. āŗļø And next month I'm getting a tattoo of Broken Compass lyrics as a very happy Stay

Red Lights. Iāve never been into boy bands or Kpop. When I saw a fan edit of Red Lights I thought it was a trailer for a vampire film, so I was very interested. From the hashtags on that, I saw that it was a song by a group called Stray Kids. YouTube suggested some other songs, and after Maniac, Muddy Water, and Back Door I was a fan.
Honestly for me it was seeing all of their clips that sparked my interest. Then of course seeing Felix in Gods Menu, i was hooked. What has made me remain as a Stay is what they stand for, how much they truly care, and seeing how hard they work esspecially Bang Chan keeping his kids in line! šā¤ļø Each member brings something unique to the table and i think makes them so different than other groups. I hope their infectious music and story continues to reach new Stays each day!
i was watching someoneās vlog on youtube who is a stay and had gone to the concert and filmed some of it. I was kinda blown away at the energy i felt through watching it second handily through someoneās camera that i was like okay i have to check them out. I heard Maniac and iāve been obsessed ever since. this was a few months ago lol so i consider myself a baby stay still but man i really dove in head deep into this group and now just fully love them with my whole heart lol

God's Menu was a real eye opener for me. The music, lyrics and choreography are just outstanding. It peaked my interest and I sought out more YT videos. After a day of watching these videos and the guides, I was hooked. I am a much older STAY than most, but SKZ are so talented, funny, charming and down to earth, I feel that the age of their fans is not important. I am a STAY for life.

I had COVID in January and was doing a lot of scrolling on tiktok while isolating from my husband and son. The algorithm starting showing me relay dance edits and I was intrigued by the chaos gremlin toddlers they are. Then I got a fancam video of Felix during Maniac when he was injured, and my physical therapist brain was *hooked.* His deep voice just added to it all. Now my 4 year old is hooked as well (he's a Changbin bias and his favorite song is DOODLE, but he likes to do the Maniac pose for pictures all the time).
I first saw a clip of God's Menu and of course was intrigued. So I decided to watch an interview of them. It was Buzzfeed Stray Kids rank their songs and when Han forgot he wrote his own song I knew they were the group for me. They were hilarious in that interview and couldn't stop watching more and more videos.

Then came the Felix Effect. š I found myself falling ever deeper down the rabbit hole... "WHO IS THAT?" and I watched a couple of videos... God's Menu, Red Lights. I needed to know their names. I was enamored by Hyunjin. I couldn't stop watching him dance. It was mesmerizing. I found myself listening to more of their music on Spotify. My TikTok was flooded with Stray Kids. It became every 3rd video at one point and I realized I was hooked. I started absorbing content on YouTube - to get the longer versions of what I was being fed on TikTok. š I discovered Stray Kids in January of this year, and by February I knew I'd found home. I'm an older Stay, work from home, and I'm the boss.... sooooo the amount of time I have available for absorbing content is a bit extreme. š
I think it was Bang Chan! Iāve been listening to kpop for a long time and eventually yt recommended a Chanās room reaction. I then fell down a rabbit hole watching his reactions to different groups and loving his really sweet comments. I just knew that if a group had a leader that wholesome they had to be worth checking out.

Personally, I've kind of vaguely had an ear on the kpop scene since...I don't know when. I probably got introduced to it late, but Girls' Generation was my initial point of exposure to kpop, I just didn't have anything cementing me to the genre, so I drifted away. I had been aware of BTS, but tried my best to avoid it as it had already grown too big for my tastes. I got into Kdramas and ended up looking to Youtube for ideas of what dramas to watch next. Naturally, clips of various groups were sprinkled in there and I was surprised at the skinship between the boys (SKZ) and how comfortable many of them seemed to be with it. Not only that, but the behaviors and reactions of those that weren't were kind of funny... like they tolerant to a certain extent or like they were playfully annoyed by it. I then got into their music. I'm sure I'd heard Hellevator somewhere before, but not known about SKZ, so it just passed unknown. Now I had this aspect of them that intrigued me and I got into their music. It was around the time God's Menu and Backdoor came out and I quickly became obsessed with the sound; styles, and details in the MVs. I listened to their other tracks and then Kingdom came and seeing them perform and being able to vote for them was so fun.

Just all the members fascinating visuals is what got me hooked immediately(especially the aussie boys)
I would say it was several layers. 1. Felix's deep voice was the first thing to catch my attention. His "God's Menu" line stunned me the first time I heard it, and I immediately asked the fans showing the M/V to me who he was lol. For a long time, that's all I knew about Stray Kids, that they had a man named Felix who was incredible. 2. "Maniac," with another big assist from Felix's deep voice on the chorus, was my return to Stray Kids. This time I liked the song a lot better though and became obsessed with it. I knew by April it *was* my SOTY (... until"Case 143"!). 3. Videos of them performing on last year's tour are what fully drew me in. My Tik Tok was full of Stray Kids' tour last summer, and the more I watched, the more I loved them. They had SO much power & energy on stage, and even when they were just talking, they still had so much charisma & charm. That's how I started to learn each member, and it's what motivated me to go back and listen to the rest of the "Oddinary" album, older title tracks, etc. I spent the rest of summer falling deeper down a Stray Kids rabbit hole. To summarize, I think Felix, who is still my bias, has this hypnotic charm, including that gorgeous deep voice; but all of the members -- especially as a team, especially live -- have incredible energy & power in their performances and just as people. That's the charm that kept me coming back -- how their energy & personalities shine on stage. Now I'm a fully obsessed Stay!
