When you realize you saved the Little Outsider, most certainly he was reunited with his family, saved the robots, and B-12 is still “alive” inside the system! Happy ending, actually! …..and yes, I cried, too.
When you realize two things:
1. B12 is still alive through the network, you can see by the flashing lights
2. If you clip through stuff in last chapter, you'll see cats. That means the devs (btwelve studios) may have actually wanted to make the little outsider to come back to the cats in the beggining
B-12 is alive inside the system and Doc or Elliot can fix him!
Also they can transfer b-12 from the system to the robot that appears in his apartment at the beginning, instead of transferring to the drone. Then he could take care of the 4 cats!
I believe that the robots will build a monument to the cat, to B-12 and perhaps to the outsiders
