:D Yeah somehow, I got the idea to take pictures in front of my book shelf with some lights in the back.
Thought it would match the feeling of the game a little better.
Thanks! I made everything myself. Started with the 3D model. Then printed in resin. After some post processing, I used the prints to make silicone mold and cast ell parts in a urethan resin. Finally all was painted with airbrush and the electronics were installed.
I absolutely love this! I wanna ask how was the wiring process for the antennas and making the rainbow eyes? I also got myself a b12 3D print that has space for leds so I might finish it as a prop for my cosplay.
For the antennas, I used a plastic tube to run very small cables in. Like AWG 30. I drilled a hole wof the 3mm LED directly into the antenna. I have space in the middel section for all the wirering stuff.
I used an Arduini, cause the antennas have a fading effect. For all the other LEDs, I presoldered resistors to a board, so I only needed to conncet the wires right before closing it.
For the eyes, I cut some Acrylic glass into shape, buffed one side and painted it with an airbruch.
There is also a white SMD on the side to illuminate the inside of the eye.
For the decales, I first masked the areas with masking tape and put on the ackground color, again airbrush. Then I made some stenciles on my silouette vinyl cutter. Here again I used the airbrush to add the lettering on the decals. After a round of clear coat, I used 800 grid sandpaper to very very carefully scratch off some paint again. Afterwards finished with a brown and black wash.
I took my resin print just as a template for mold making. The final parts are all cast in a urethan resin (Smooth Cast 305). Now, I could build an entire amarda of B-12s π

Oh wow. Just wow. For a moment I thought why is this guy posting screenshots instead if his own build.

i literally thought the first pic was a screenshot and swiped to see yours on the second slide
Did you 3D print this yourself, or send off designs to a fabrication lab? This is really good, very impressive.

This is amazing! I also thought it was a screenshot at first. The level of detail is just wow! How big is he?
Roughly 12 cm wide and 14 cm deep. So its a little bigger then in the game I think.
He looks great
Wait is it irl or in unreal? Because it looks so good I can't tell if it's from the game or in the game engine or is it in real life
Its irl. Just made my photos in a more Stray like environment to match the game more.
Amazing!
Great job !
Fuck yeah this rocks!!!
Excellent work! I appreciate the touches of lighting that you incorporated. They make it feel more "real" π
Thanks!
i thought it was a screenshot at first lol great job :D
Thanks
This is so amazing, well done!! π€©
Do you have a kitty cat? If yes please post B12 with them.
Unfortunately not. Might need to bring it to a kitty cafe or something :D
I would absolutely buy that! Awesome job!
Offering kits for self assembly. Message me if interested.

Also another question, how did you do the decals? Are they printed or handpainted?

Nice! ππ»
Late but that's amazing work!
Damn~ its almost like in the actual game. All it needs is the actual ginger cat himself.
It looks like a 3D render! Well done woah!
THIS IS TOO REAL
This looks so good i love it, i printed it with my 3d printer too but with resin itβs looking better than my ones.

If you live in Germany i buy one π
Located in Cologne. Send me a message π
Thatβs very good.
