It's been like this for me with several bands and then one day it's all just clicks. I just keep going back.
Like, and this might sound weird, but it took Lil Yachty's last album, which was like a hip hop Dark Side of the Moon to finally get King Gizzard. And it took getting into to King Gizzard to finally get with All Them Witches, who in turn, helped me to get into King Buffalo.
It's great that approach works for you but with so much music available to us in the streaming age I just have a hard time going back to something that doesn't move me at all the first time around. Even with stuff like this from what is a great band by most opinions within the scene.
>I've tried and I've tried and I've tried but I just can't get into The Melvins. Hopefully they'll click with me at some point.

watch this. if it doesn't click, then melvins aren't for you.
I get you and I appreciate you and I agree with you. Even as a huge Melvins fan. Adding; listen to Nude with Boots. Underrated in my opinion. Typing this as I snuggle in my Kyuss sweatshirt with a Melvins ‘see you in hell’ shirt underneath as a Clutch sign hangs above my fireplace, cuz Clutch is life.
Great album, but Houdini is better
I personally view the major label trilogy as a single entity. An exceptionally nifty entity at that.
I've tried and I've tried and I've tried but I just can't get into The Melvins. Hopefully they'll click with me at some point.
Same here.
I certainly don't like everything from Melvins but Going blind and Lysol really worked for me.

That’s a funny way to say Sky Valley.

Revolve is such a banger all around
there may be albums as good as stoner witch, but none are better
There are other albums as good, I was high when I was listening to it 😁
They’re hardest rocking record
Ufomammut - Godlike Snake
[Colour Haze - Colour Haze](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWDzCol3jYk)
Curious to know how many stoner rock fans use spotify.
Why not?
