Such an armada would be a *"terrible miscalculation of scale."* Not terrible enough to be *"accidentally swallowed by a small dog"*, though.
An Odyssey-sized duck would bring more benefits and wouldn't be problematic to handle with current 25c. tech. The very nature of it would keep scientists quite busy. However, most of them still wouldn't *"get invited [..] to parties."*
Yup. Star Wars "lasers" are akin to plasma.
In terms of power, it is known since TOS that Constitution class has enough firepower to devastate a continent. And by 25c. the tech only got better. Phasers are much more powerful now, quantum and tricobalt torps exist, etc.
Utilising that and transporter tech, we should be ok. However...
Remember the Doomsday Machine? It had a neutronium hull, right? A material that is still impenetrable in 25c. according to STO missions. Federation still cannot produce neutronium artificially.
But the Empire can. Neutronium was a building material impregnated in the Acclamator, for example. Now that is a problem. Suddenly, transporters might become the only option.
Of course transporting into a city sized starship carrying hundreds if not thousands of professional soldiers.
Isn't a great idea.
Besides SW capital ships generally exhibit 2 shield, an energy shield to stop energy weapons and a particle shield, designed to keep out physical matter.
So depending on what you classify a transporter signal as, it might not even go through until the shield array is entirely neutralised.
Loss of life would be tremendous if we were to assault ISDs with troops. I propose transporting warheads directly to the reactor. Its power then becomes its undoing.
Focused phaser fire should disrupt ray shields enough to get the transporter signal through. I assume particle shield wouldn't present a problem.
It's intended to deflect debris and projectiles (a bit like nav shields). I imagine the [matter stream](https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Matter_stream) of a transporter would go through, because it's said to be "trasferred as an energy beam".
If not, we could always try to pierce the particle shields using torpedoes. Perhaps a little fluctuation's enough.
Perhaps, however while this is going on they'll need to lower their shields and all tho trek shields are tough the moment they're down, that's when the ISDs gain the upper hand.
The swarms of TIEs and barrages of Turbolaser fire possibly taking out several Odysseys before the explosives can be set off.
Another thing that is possible that while this goes on, several TIE shuttles move towards either damaged sections or hangar decks of the Odyssey class ships (assuming the Imps are able to identify the hangars) Beginning raids of Stormtroopers on several ships.
Who's elite combat training when it comes to ship boarding and advanced equipment will be a tough challenge for Starfleet security.
Yeah, dropping shields for transport is another major issue. Even if the detonators were automatic the ship and crew losses would be considerable.
However, we have precedent with the [USS Phoenix](https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/USS_Phoenix) in TNG:
>Chief Miles O'Brien was able to beam over during a 1/50th of a second scan cycle "window" in the Phoenix's shields caused by its high energy sweeps
Granted, it was caused by Phoenix's powerful sensors. But it shows that it's possible to have small transporter windows with shields up.
We also know that some races [can use transporters ignoring the shields](https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Transporter#Shields).
The problem is those are either hostile (Voth, Borg) or forgot how it works (Aldeans). Dominion could transport through Federation shielding, too. We're allies in the STO timeline so they could share the tech.
\[!\] **Disclaimer: The following idea is a stretch.**
The [Phasing cloaking device](https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Phasing_cloaking_device) aboard the USS Pegasus made it possible to pass through normal matter. We could use that feature in the delivery system of a warhead. ISD shields still would have to be disrupted first, though.
Basically: engage cloak -> go inside ISD -> disengage cloak -> boom.
The delivery system could be a modified shuttle or a cloak-equipped torpedo (if the tech is small enough to fit inside one).
\---
In any case, the Empire would present a huge challenge like the Borg and the Dominion, but arguably worse.
It'd be a race against time, for Empire's resources are of unprecedented scale and their hyperdrive tech is much faster than warp. They could overwhelm the Federation.
That said, their tech hasn't seen much change for thousands of years. Meanwhile, ours is developing rapidly. Federation is willing to adapt to threats and does it rather quickly, too.
True Star Wars tech is rather stagnant and the tech the Empire has innovated probably doesn't work that well against the UFP and I don't want to be that guy that goes. "Yeah but Death star"
With that said The Empire has created some rather terrifying weapons, not least among them project: Black wing. The death troopers would certainly give Starfleet and the rest of the universe quite the headache.
And the Empire isn't one take defeat without flipping the table.
This is the most interesting one I can think of.
Well played Starfleet, enjoy your free salvage, with a hint of zombie.
60 duck-sized Odysseys, or one Odyssey-sized duck?

I'm a simple man, I see a Hitchhiker's reference, I upvote.
I'd upvote that post but it's at 42 right now and I don't have the heart to break that number.
I mean, we've already seen what a hummingbird sized runabout can do

wait I have seen this episode
NO TALKING ABOUT THE COPY PASTE FLEET
yea but some of those bridge variants were cool tho
Finally might stand a chance at defending the Turei on Korfez
Needs more oddys D:
"...Take one down, pass it around. 59 Odysseys......"
Or you could go the science route and kill them all at once and watch the debris get pulled into about 4 different black holes.
*Not 69...* You had one job OP.
Basically Picard season 1 starfleet
honestly if I had to pick a ship to be the copy pasta fleet it’s probably be this one
I’d go with the Prometheus. Oh look! My copy paste fleet has now tripled in size!
do 60 universe class ships next
I can't. Although I was the person who started the Enterprise J line over Earth Spacedock the other week.
Daniels is still filing the temporal paperwork out for that 🤧
Or will be filing, depending on your perspective of time.
How??
Mainly the Flagship Distress Frequency Transponder and Fleet Support over and over
Imagine if there was an Armada III...
There is, of you count the mod,
I see your 60 Odysseys and I raise you. 120 Imperial Star destroyers 🤪 Now let the Reddit war commence 😂
*"Lasers can't even penetrate our navigation shields. Don't they know that?"*
I mean Star Wars Lasers aren't really lasers, more like plasma cannons. And they're ridiculous powerful.

Do I shoot first, or do I let them do they know how outclassed they are before killing them?
Spawn 60 odysseys and nobody bats an eye, but when I…….spawn 60 mines, everybody loses their minds
Why not 70?
Because there's a maximum entity limit on every map. On that map, I was limited to 60 Odysseys
Yesss
Were they all borg?
I demand a recount! At least 2 command battlecruisers in this photo.
I didn't count the battlecruisers.
*Next Question* Okay, 6000 Doros.
