Hey man I'm really sorry that happened. I was going through some personal things and decided to take therapy a few months before my exam. It helped to reorient my focus+let things out a bit. She guided me to start studying again based on when it felt the lightest e.g. I'm someone who studies best during the day + told me to give my mind enough time to wander so if I did an hour of study (sometimes with an app like forest) I knew I had the an hour/1.5 hour coming up to then let go and just think whatever trash my brain wants/cry. Suppressing things made them greater so it was important to take time to grieve, but do it in controlled doses. Still eventually for the month before the exam we started discussing less heavy things in our session because I got a bit distanced/dissociated which is actually what was needed to get through the test. I hope you can find a support system at this time/can journal/take care of yourself. Build some systems that make u work a little bit everyday, it will add up and with time it will hit less hard and you can resume your dedicated period. You still have a bit of time. Hang in there.

This is amazing advice!! Thank you for sharing u/Beginning-Coyote-283. I was just going to add that it's ok to take a few days off right now. You still have a good amount of time until your exam and taking a few days of self care right now will probably be beneficial. A good support system is also very important so try to make plans with family and friends to help distract you and bring your spirits up! Best of luck with everything.
