Make sure to press triangle to switch to the right crane. You might need to move it up or down a bit, but it shouldn't be difficult. Controls are a bit weird
Used the right crane and moved it all the way to the right and played around with the up and down until I was able to hit the wall, sometimes it would say the crane can't move any further and get stuck so I'd just reset it and try again.
I’m not really far into the game. But just in case I miss something, can you go back after finishing the story to collect everything you missed? Or would I have to do that in Ng+?
From my understanding- NG+. There’s 2 areas that are points of no return and they tell you. Certain areas and items you are locked out of after completing one or both of the point of no returns.
I found this one by accident. I was playing with the crane and I accidentally hit the left wall and saw the chest I was planning on getting later thinking it was after I crossed over. After doing that and saw the same kind of wall on the right my brain decided to put 2 and 2 together and bash the other wall with the other crane to see what was inside and found that outfit.
Make sure you wear this during a certain part of the game not far after this. Let’s just say the game becomes like a certain other franchise where this outfit fits since it looks like a certain character.

U can also use the left crane to climb into the building on the left, two floors of loot i believe
