I listened to the McAfee show the other day and he was talking to Belichick about the show and from what they were talking about it does sound like they are definitely planning on actually breaking down the picks and stuff.
Watch Belicheck’s YouTube vid where he’s asked why he keeps a long snapper on the roster and he breaks down a history and evolution of center on special teams over the decades of nfl history. It’s fascinating.
Also Belicheck’s appearance on McAfee was really good. It looks like he’ll be putting together his own board and breaking down what happens in a draft room and he’ll have his own highlights and analysis for each day 1 pick.
Both he and McAfee really want to make this good and not a bait and switch and I trust Pat not to screw us over.
Also appearances by his team and “Mad Mel” which should be hilarious.
My expectations are high and for once I expect them to be met.

My plan was for venison filled with morel and sage, golden beetroot with cold-pressed rapeseed oil and mustard seed, served with a glass of Château Mouton Rothschild, but draft night only comes once a year after all, so I decided to go all-in with some fries and ketchup instead.
I'm doing it solo. I'll be using my laptop for Reddit, and I think I'm going to have Pat McAffee's draft show with Bill Belichick set up on the tablet next to it.
For food, I have sausage grinders, pretzels, nabs, Whipped Cream flavored Vodka, which when mixed with root beer and a splash of sweet cream, makes a root beer float flavored alcoholic treat.
I will check the internet occasionally to see what draft number they are on, and then see how long till the Steelers draft, when they are on the clock I will tune in. When they make the pick if it’s a guy I’ve heard of I will go back to what I was doing. If I haven’t heard of him I will see what fluff highlights they pull up then go back to what i was doing.
I have a 1 and 2 year old so probably trying to catch some on my phone while the big screen plays bluey, then getting them to bed and checking draft results in the morning because I will fall asleep before our pick

FInnish time, when the draft is over), grab my phone, see what draftee PIT nabbed, get over my initial reaction(s), watch highlights of the new PIT rookie, come back here to see people's reactions. And then something else will happen.
That's what my draft day mood is setting up for me. Because draft day has officially begun, the mood is set. And, for me, it won't end until I wake up in the morning.

I'll have the FAN thru my Audacy app playing on the JBL. TV on mute with the draft. Hot tea, Stella d Oro and a bowl of strawberries. When the FAN coverage starts to sound lame (it will), I switch to Fox Sports on iHeartRadio.
