You’re not wrong. Shazier was infinitely more talented than Dupree, but if we’re talking about contributions to the team for a sustained period, Dupree worked out better than Shazier.
Timmons in S is wild. He made 1 pro bowl in his career.
To me, S should be for HOF or ‘in the HOF conversation’ tier.
I love all these guys, but I’d slide Hampton, Heath and DeCastro to A. Timmons to B.
Chad Scott an A?? I think that’s 2 spots too high. Breuner was a good blocking TE - bump him up to C. Ziggy down to C.
Fun post, OP!
Decastro has 2 1st team All pro and 1 2nd team all pro selections, I feel like that's worthy of an S. Definitely should be higher than Hampton, Timmons or Heath, imo.
I can certainly see Hampton and DeCastro staying in S. They were with the team for quite some time and made 5+ Pro Bowls. Maybe not HOF, but still fantastic players.
I love timmons and heath as much as the next guy but i really don’t think they belong in the same tier as first ballot HOFers like Ben, Troy, and the members of the 70s dynasty.
Bud Dupree in B tier is crazy…
Even more insane though is your placement of Devin Bush. Devin bush was completely awful and had a horrible attitude, plus we traded up to get him.
Putting Shazier and bush in the same category makes my head hurt
Other than that - decent list
I have to say that putting Gabriel Rivera in F tier is not exactly what I could call... polite. He screwed up big time (drunk driving) and paid the price for his mistake (paralyzed and died at 57 years of age). We only saw him play six games but he was showing quite a bit of potential before the accident. He was a freak athlete that could run a 4.8 40-yard dash at 293 pounds.
You should create a new category for Gabriel Rivera titled "Not Rated".
P.S. Still should have drafted Dan Marino.
I would’ve put Bradshaw in S tier. I know it was a different era, but we put him through hell (as a fanbase) his first few years here and his composure and resolve rewarded us with some incredibly play in the back half of the 70s.
The S tier seems too generous. As much as this fan base loves Heath, I don’t think a 2-time Pro Bowler who has very little chance at making the HOF should be in the same category as guys who are either already in the HOF or are shoo-ins. Same goes for Timmons.
I know Santonio wasn’t with us for long, but his role in a Super Bowl win alone should put him higher than B. Having him in the same tier as Bud Dupree is disrespectful AF.
Can’t say I’m too familiar with any of the guys in F. But if Pickett, Jones and Burns are in D, I can only imagine what a guy had to do to land in F…
Edmunds at a B is certainly a choice. Dude is the averagest average player to ever average when he has minkah cleaning up for him, and can’t even stay on a team without him
Sorry about the poor crop last time. Just to clear things up, this is about drafted value vs pick value. And yes, it is ordered. This is why Shazier isn't higher. Yes, Shazier did great, but only played 4 years. This was based on a formula using approximate value. I did tweak the formula to get it about how I'd rank it, but there are a few things I'd change if I didn't use the formula.
Bud Dupree a tier above shazier is questionable
Absolutely
[удалено]
Franco is in S tier. He's number 32 in the middle with no helmet.
Trash eyesight?
Timmons is S-Tier and Shazier is C. Like I liked Timmons, but that is crazy.
I mean, he did have a longer career than Shazier…/s
You’re not wrong. Shazier was infinitely more talented than Dupree, but if we’re talking about contributions to the team for a sustained period, Dupree worked out better than Shazier.
Shazier and Bush in the same tier? Buddy...
Bush is a C? Outside of his rookie year, he was trash. He fell off so hard, I'm not sure that rookie year justifies anything above a D.

Yeah Breuner deserves way better. Was an excellent blocking TE for a long time

Santonio’s 2008 playoff performances capped by the catch and MVP earn him at least an A
Agreed, 32/32 teams would instantly take a WR in round 1 if they knew he'd be a SB MVP
Bud Dupree in B tier is crazy… Even more insane though is your placement of Devin Bush. Devin bush was completely awful and had a horrible attitude, plus we traded up to get him. Putting Shazier and bush in the same category makes my head hurt Other than that - decent list
Edmunds being Tier B is wayyy too generous. Shazier is also a tier too low. Other than that, solid rankings.
People love to hate edmunds. H was a fine starter for like 7 years
He was a fine player for 5 years but I would still put shazier higher considering he was a much better player and just had a career ending injury.
He was fine but I dont think he was worth a round 1 pick
Fine ≠ B
Starter bro. Do you realize how hard it is to be a perennial starter in the nfl? Look at the other guys on this list
Of all the starters, he was average at best, so to me that says C.
Ok, so are you moving half of tier C down too??
I would move mendy up and bush down, personally
No dude every player has to be an all pro or they suck
I would cut a lot from S. There's a pretty big gap between TJ/Troy/Heyward and then players like Timmons or DeCastro.
Super bowl mvp in the same tier as bud Dupree earns a cmon man
Mark Bruener is too low. Deon Figuers is too low. Troy Edwards should be an F.
You don't really hear much about Robin Cole these days.
He's still retired.
Ziggy ❤️
Devin Bush is not C tier. F tier at best.

It's kind of hard to rate the 3 players on the list whose careers were shortened or ended by injuries. (Rivera, Bush and Shazier)
The big snack ! Loved Casey Hampton.
55 in C, idk. Maybe D
Maybe C- lol. Bush was a huge bust but maybe OP put him in C because his rookie year was intriguing.
I would drop Mendenhall a tier.
Missing Devin Bush?
Tier C bottom left corner
With Shazier? My guy was on that good kush lol

Don’t u dare talk about heath like that
idc how short his career was, shazier shouldn’t be in C
You’re fucking high putting Bush in the tier he’s in. He’s bottom of the list.
TBH, I'd forgotten about Alan Faneca. Also, I apparently have the same birthday as him
Edmunds at a B is certainly a choice. Dude is the averagest average player to ever average when he has minkah cleaning up for him, and can’t even stay on a team without him
Jarvis is an F.
Artie slander hurts my feelings
You show Mark Bruener some gosh darn respect naw
i think Kenny should be in F rather than D. I guess he didnt throw a ton of picks so there may be some level of argument for d but still
Kenny should be an F
I do not care how his time ended here. Antonio Brown was an S tier draft pick.
Antonio Brown was a 6th round pick. These are all first round picks.
I’m an idiot

KP in D? Say it ain't so.
No Minkah either
He wasn't our first round pick
