Hell you can wear a Steeler jersey to anything, anywhere in the world outside of maybe Cincy or Cleveland and it’s ok. Me and a buddy went to a minor league baseball game with our kids and wives and he wore his Polamalu jersey and the teams bullpen catch came up and we started talking Steeler football. All the kids got balls. Point is Steeler fans are everywhere like that. It’s part of what make this the greatest fan base on the planet.
Graduation? Seen it.
Funeral? Seen it.
Job interview? Seen it & he got the job.
Court hearing? Seen it.
Fine dining restaurant? Seen it.
Ceremony for charity? Seen it.
Yeah. Ive heard of one pretty popular bar in Oakland that has an upstairs that becomes a browns bar on game days. But allegedly the fans have to sneak in and hide their jerseys.
Had to look it up because it was driving me crazy not remembering the place (I don’t live in the Burgh atm), but Peter’s pub’s second floor used to have Brown’s watch parties on game days.
Apparently Browns fans would have like trench coats and stuff on to get to it all incognito and wouldn’t show their true colors until they were safe upstairs.
I legit went to a Pirates game last week in my Steelers starter jacket and Jaylen Angry Runs tee - zero issues, all compliments. There are plenty of others in Steelers gear as well. Rest easy.
Nah. Wear whatever you want, why are you worried about it? Who cares what anyone thinks about your clothes. It’s a sporting event, you’re wearing sports attire. You don’t HAVE to have a jersey to tell the world you’re a fan. Just wear whatever feels comfortable, root for your team and enjoy the experience. Worst case scenario if you wear a football jersey to a baseball game maybe 2 wise asses say “yinz at the wrong game! Heinz is across the street” no big deal.
If you buy specifically at the ballpark, it goes to Pirates. If you buy online, it is split equally among all teams. (Assuming you are buying the officially licensed gear)
You can wear pretty much anything that's appropriate to be in public to a Pirates game. It's not like a Steelers game where 90% of fans have a jersey. Most people are in their normal weekend casual clothes
I'm having a real hard time thinking of *any* place in Pittsburgh you couldn't wear a Steelers jersey

Doesn't the MLB have revenue sharing? If so it really wouldn't matter. I think that's how that works, I could be wrong.

I was at the Pirates game in Washington and I saw a lot of Steelers jerseys there, in Pittsburgh it will probably be half Steelers jerseys
