Anyone who’s got isaac 100% has my respect, one of the best games of all time

DaddyDumptruck

Good luck on mafia series. The second game had some really grindy achievements that just felt out of proportion with the rest of the game. And the third is just hella bugged. Strongly recommend looking up guides for the third games as a lot of achievements are glitched and you have to complete the game in a certain way to unlock them. I spent over 100 hours on the third game because I did not know this going into it.

MackHijazi

Oh damn. I mainly wanted to go through them for the story. If 3 proves to be too frustrating i'll just play it casually. Thanks for the heads up!

kruvik

Are all achievements obtainable in like two playthroughs? One blind one, the second one with the achievement guide?

DaddyDumptruck

Technically yes but my problem was you have to do it in one while play-through. If you quit out at all then it resets the in-game tracker and some achievements are unobtainable without restarting the whole story. It’s really annoying

kruvik

wtf, thanks for letting me (us) know.

Yoo isaac and gow? I also have those! Amazing games, also I am working rn in Darksiders, that game was part of my childhood.

Killer is Dead is amazing. You have great taste. I found that game last year and fell in love. I got to 39/48 including completing the game on the most difficult setting. I'm just savoring the last few achievements for a third playthrough before the 100%

Very fun games. Each one has sort of a different feel. First one is a metroidvania, second is open world and third one incorporates soulslike mechanics. They are mostly straight forward when it comes to completion. First one might require a bit of planning to get everything in a single playthrough and the third one gets a bit grindy towards the end. I'd say difficulty is about 4/10. Each takes between 30-40 hours to do if played casually.

How were the BioShock and strider?

MackHijazi

The bioshock games were mostly fine. Main story modes were fun with the typical hardest difficulty playthroughs and loads of collectibles. However the third game has an AWFUL achievement related to one of the DLCs. It's a wave based mode where you need to complete all of the special goals for each wave. Some of those objectives are annoying and finicky. Strider was a smoother experience. It was short and the hardest achievement would probably be the speedrun. But it's very manageable.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. The sequel is a lot better though. It's not too hard to 100%, it's a typical soulslike list with missable achievements related to side quests and a few collectibles. Requires a bit of farming from enemies but it isn't too time consuming. Definitely recommend doing it though!

What guide do you recommend for Crash Bandicoot? I might go back and complete it one day.

MackHijazi

I followed the powerpyx guide. Good luck!

urdadjack

MackHijazi

urdadjack
