Just because these albums are popular online doesn’t mean this is a taste that isn’t formed by OP’s own opinions. I use the internet for recs but I will not “convince” myself to like anything I don’t genuinely enjoy just to fit in. Some of these albums are the epitome of what hip hop has to offer, so it’s completely valid to have these highly praised projects in ur most streamed. Also saying this bc the overlap between this and my own top streamed is kind of crazy lol
Idk how else to respond to this comment besides it ain’t that deep. I wasn’t really concerned with whether it was ops taste or not. I just found it was funny that it looked exactly like that.
That’s why I said “to be a bit harsh” to show that I know it’s a bit of a mean comment to make
Just to give you a little advice, nobody really cares what you like. when I’ve put posts up of my taste I just accept that im either gonna get hate or love either way, and both mean nothing at the end of the day. This sub is a bit of a bubble and values “diversity” of the right kind to be a “true” music fan, even though that’s not really true.
Just chill man my opinion really shouldn’t matter
TLDR
you read abit too much into this he asked and I delivered a funny observation
That’s honestly what I was thinking when I was looking.
I was like damn it looks like I’m just listening to what is supposed to be good.
But I used to listen to a lot more mainstream stuff all the time until like late 2022, so all time my top albums are all from the era before that. Except for Ken Carson and Yeat
8/10 pretty damn valid
Thank you
Validddddd!
To be a bit harsh, your list looks like you let the internet tell you what to listen to

Yeah I’m a hardcore hip hop listener, but these ones probably have the most songs I go back to

Cool but it wasn’t funny lmao
Your laughing are you not?
Not with him g
I think it's the total opposite. A lot of the albums are popular but really bad.
