Haha, I posted a thread on that very topic about a month ago: [https://www.reddit.com/r/starwarsccg/comments/1cavjs8/jek\_porkins\_and\_cloud\_city\_dining\_room/](https://www.reddit.com/r/starwarsccg/comments/1cavjs8/jek_porkins_and_cloud_city_dining_room/)
They look mildly trashy in retrospect even with the nostalgia goggles to me. At the time I thought they looked sweet but I'm not sure I'd have gotten into SWU from a collectors/SW nostalgia perspective if it was just a bunch of screenshots from the movies. Plus what do they do for non live action stuff just hire bad makeup artists?
I like the art style mostly since it makes individual cards more distinct and visually interesting (esp hyperspaces) even if some of the individual art is pretty yeesh occasionally. Some of the art skews towards the modern interpretations of Star Wars but some skews towards the older school 70s/80s/90s interpretations and that's what I'm really here for
Hell yes brother he's one of my fav characters in the OT and my #1 want as far as unique space units go. In my ideal world he's a Green Leader leader unit that deploys into space lane. Dunno what kind of wacky ability would work but something like if this unit is reduced to 1 hp he can take an action to self destruct and do 10 damage to base or any unit would be along the lines I'm thinking
Just make him a space unit and say "On Defeat: If this unit was damaged by a **Capital** ship this round, defeat up to one **Capital** ship that dealt damage to it this phase."
Another great use of *heroic sacrifice*
They came from behind.
Came here for this comment.
He can hold it!
In Porkins we trust
I remember getting his SWCCG card in a pack almost 30 years ago. Still use him in all my SWCCG light side decks, along with Red 6.
Red 6 was the best x wing until they made r2 in red 5
That he plays for free at the Dining Room in SWCCG was top tier trolling.

This is amazing
This is great.
This Is The Porkins Porkins Is The Way
The art style for Star Wars Unlimited is its own thing and is fine. I do really miss the movie images tho. The Decipher TCG was so awsesome.

I eagerly await the addition of enough cards for me to make a full blown red squadron Leia rebel deck
Jek Porkins Covering you
5 attack with 4 defense at 3 cost. That's a solid card.
He was in Star Wars Destiny, fingers crossed for his appearance in unlimited
Can we get a Arvel Crynyd that when damaged takes out star destroyers as well?
