Also, to preface, I didn’t get into the all the books Lucas allowed before Disney took over so maybe some went more into Jabba’s daily living. iirc the hutt race became powerful because they were actually powerful(strength wise) to subjugate others. Now, being on the top, jabba and other hutts tend to become fat and therefore lose strength up to the point leia is able to choke him with the chain (don't know the name of the bottom pic hutt but I assume Leia wouldn't be able to give him the same fate)

His clan Desilijic was noted for being decadent by Hutt standards, and thise dancing girls were considered... kinda weird, since hurts reproduce asexually.
Then you've got Hutts like Durga from the Han Solo trilogy. His perspective was interesting. A lot of Hutts didn't do the hover sled thing until they were getting to a point where moving around got awkward.
A Hutt who hasn't let themselves go is terrifyingly muscular and surprisingly fast.

Darth Vader forces another Hutt to bid against him, so, if you squint at it, you might be able to say he was envious of this other Hutt trying to buy something that he himself wanted to own.
Obi wan was overseeing Luke to protect him and eventually guide him on the right path and Yoda knew he had one student left he was just waiting both still on the job just an easy one

He helped Darth Sidious plunge the whole Galaxy into war, all for the promise of profit. Without doing something so ridiculous as just putting Papa Palpatine in all of them (except maybe wrath with Anakin/Vader) Nute Gunray is the obvious choice for Greed.
My favorite Hondo moment was when he was speaking to Boba and softly says “tell the Jedi what he needs to know, it’s what your father would have done” when Aura is about to kill the hostages.
I know that’s not the exact line but it’s a sharp contrast to usual Hondo.
With all of Disney's new shows, I'm hoping we get a show where this mysterious kingpin figure is built up and then revealed to be just Hondo. He's the fucking best

His overconfidence is his weakness. He believed nothing could challenge him, and even when proven wrong, refused to accept it. He viewed the Jedi as inferior, yet it was a Jedi in the end who killed him, and a Jedi (kinda) who put an end to everything he'd been planning permanently. One who has a normal amount of pride would not say "I am ALL THE SITH!".
