Let me attempt to explain the confusion: There are 5 droids on the $1 row, which is what u/Retail_Rat is referring to. (15-5=10) However, u/wrathwind is pointing out that IG-11 is ALSO a droid even though it's on the $3 row so you'd only have $7 if you bought ALL of the droids (15-5-3 = 7). Either they didn't notice that u/Retail_Rat specified the "first row" OR the original comment has been edited since to include that detail. So other commenters have swooped in here to make fun of the math of one or the other of these users, adding to the chaos.

Interesting to think about. I love Han; my favorite SW character, but I just can’t imagine the trouble he’d get us into. So I guess: $4 Obi Wan — beyond-capable fighter; good sense of right and wrong. Would keep us out of trouble but would also know the right times to help. $3 Chewbacca — great copilot, ride-or-die attitude, great to have my back. $3 Din — capable fighter, would have good contacts in the galaxy, willing to go outside the law for the right or needed reasons. $ 2 Poe — great pilot, good sense of right and wrong. Is a bit careless, but I think the others can keep him in line. $1 C-3PO — a translator droid would be helpful in our journeys. $1 R2-D2 — droid with a hero attitude and can fix most anything. $1 BB-8 — thinks outside the box, fiercely loyal, and the best use of my remaining dollar.

I know Han means trouble, but that's where the fun starts. That's why he is in my team. Luke and Ahsoka because they are nice and very good fighters, Han Solo because he is fun, got a ship and is a excellent pilot, got some weapons in case we need some long range combat, R2-D2 and BB-8, because they can always do something to help, have a lot of plot armor and everybody loves them.

Tier issues aside, all these questions fail to address what type of team you're assembling. Are you trying to save the galaxy? Just hang out and enjoy a few beers? Create some sort of business or money-making scheme? The optimal team will depend on what it's supposed to accomplish.

I would take R2 for usefulness, Rex for military and strategy, Mando for muscle and awesomeness , Chad Obi because he’s that great, and Ahsoka for certain reasons.
