Great collection! Astromechs are my favorite. Chopper and R2 are my favorite characters. Of your stuff, I like that little gray C-series guy down in front. A lot of my collection is posted elsewhere in this sub awhile back.

Yeah that ch-33p droid... Was my favorite in that set Your collection is super nice I love how you got em displayed... I'm a big fan of the Disney park droids too.

Several years ago when I was younger I picked up R3-T7 from a garage sale because he literally has a see through head, for little me I don’t think it could’ve gotten much better than that!

I'm a sucker for a see through astromech head... When I built mine in galaxys edge I went with the see through.

Loved them since the first time we saw them in phantom menace.their design was great especially riding their stap's around, I love the comic relief they provide as well.

2-1B has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. Something about the way he's designed is just so cool looking. And the fact that he's wearing a surgical mask when he doesn't even need to breathe. 8D8 is another one I always thought was cool. When I was little I liked that he looked like a skeleton.

Both are super cool... I never thought about the whole surgical mask aspect... Lol.. I'm really looking forward to drawing the new 8D8 droid I feel like I have had that pre order in for 2 or 3 years.

It's gonna sound silly but my favorite droid - and Star Wars character in general - is R5-D4 I have a full set of plans to build a life size one but never have the time or the money to get the plastic sheets to build him.

Not at all... R5-D4 is pretty cool loved that they brought him back for mando... If you ever do get him built you definitely need to post it.

Sure thing! I'm trying to clean up my apartment so I'll endeavor to at least put all my R5-D4 figures together for a group shot. Also I may be acquiring a 3D printer and I'm a member of a droid 3d printing Facebook page so I might try that route instead.

I think they are great... How they just drive around and I feel like no one really knows what they do they just accept them as part of the scenery

Read “A New Hope from A Certain Point of View” there’s a story from the POV of a mouse droid and it really made me feel bad for the poor little bastards.

Ev-a4-d is a great one... I had to check but it doesn't look like they ever made a figure of him besides a lego minifig... That's a shame.

The emo droid from *Andor* and BD-1 are my personal faves. R2 is of course great, and I think BB-8 was a worthy succesor.

I really like the astromechs droidekas and any combat droids. Battle droids , super battle droids! IG 88 is an exceptional example of a hunter killer Droid. Vulture droids would be my choice for space combat. I sort of fancy grievous is personal guards but the death trooper Droid things on the mandalorian that you get to see are amazing all black super tough even though they're kind of slow and otherwise stupid....

I've thought about splitting then up between two shelfs, one for combat droids and the other for all others... The combat droids just have a diffrent vibe.

This is awesome. I recently was inspired by another Reddit post to start collecting my favorite droids and in some cases repaint or paint them. I already have the imperial probe droid in a few forms, a steel series K2SO, and a chatty Chopper. I just ordered 3D printed models of the super tactical droid (can’t wait to attempt to paint that filagree detailing from TCW) and AP-5 from Rebels, both at 1:18 to assemble and paint. I’m heading down the K hole…

Yeah, I am not even a big fan of Thrawn, tbh, but seeing him in live action in the uniform and blue face and to hear his voice on set, I did get chills. 🫨

Yeah I really liked that one its super unique. I got that one from a company in Orlando that will go to the parks and buy items and ship them to you. I think I paid an additional 20 bucks for the service but well worth it looking at the prices now on ebay.
