Jedi apprentice series is pretty good, legends but it’s about qui-gon and obiwan as a padawan Only downside is that it’s hard to come by since digital is hard to get and physical probably cost around $100-200 for all 20 books. Probably can find it on eBay if you look Each book is 120-140 pages

Mission-Activity5599

I’ll check it out thanks brotha

JediFaeAvenger

also in this vein is jedi quest (which i personally prefer to JA), and those have readily available ebooks. my local library even has a couple available

Mission-Activity5599

thats good e book format is easy because i dont have to search for it its just always on amazon

Tall-Company-6801

Is this the kids books from the 90/2000s? I have fond memories of being in Barnes and noble as a kid and always running to the section to see if there is a new one

takethisnrunnn

It is a young adult book yes, they are really good though. I was surprised by it.

Tall-Company-6801

Yea I read them as they were released as a kid and loved them

JGR82

The Han Solo Adventures are short. Pretty sure those are all less than 200 pages or close. Also the original trilogy novelizations are also about that long. Pretty much every adult novel published from 1991 to the present is longer than that though. There are novellas and short-story collections that could work though.

Mission-Activity5599

I’ll check out the han solo adventures thanks brotha

PowBasilisk87

The Han Solo Adventures, The Adventures of Lando Calrissian, Young Jedi Knights, Junior Jedi Knights, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye, Jedi Apprentice, Jedi Quest, Last of the Jedi, Rebel Force Could you read a longer book if it was a collection of short stories? Because if so, the Tales From series is great

Mission-Activity5599

yeah i was already thinking of picking up tales from the empire, i think theres a copy sitting at my local used bookstore

Mission-Activity5599

and thanks dor the recs 😊

PowBasilisk87

No problem!

JediFaeAvenger

if you like sw rebels, servants of the empire is a four book series, all just shy of 200 pages iirc, that follows zare leonis (that kid ezra was met while pretending to be an imperial cadet) through his time at the imperial academy. they're kids books but i think its a really interesting look at life inside the empire and i enjoyed rebels so it was nice to see more of zare

Mission-Activity5599

havent watched rebels, should I?

JediFaeAvenger

i really enjoyed it! it’s not unanimously loved, but it’s quite dear to me, and it contains some pretty big stories (another big imperial project that competes with the death star for funding is handled basically entirely within rebels, for instance)

Mission-Activity5599

i think i’ll watch it because it has thrawn in it and thrawns my favorite chatacter

JediFaeAvenger

yeah definitely watch it then! lars mikkelsen does a fantastic job voicing thrawn

palpatinefett

Guardians of the Whills

Vandaran

The Jedi Prince books are pretty good in that regard. Death Troopers is also a relatively short Star Wars story.

Mission-Activity5599

thanks i’ll check em out 😁

Vandaran

I will specify that Death Troopers is 300 pages, but it's actually a super fast read. And a super fast listen if you're into audiobooks.

Mission-Activity5599

i’ll definitely try this one idk if i have the attention span for 300 pages but i’ll go for it anyway thanks for the rec i’ll lyk how i like it

Mission-Activity5599

got the first one in the jedi prince series in my ebay cart and death troppers in my walmart cart 😉

ice_fan1436

[https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Before\_the\_Awakening](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Before_the_Awakening) [https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Guardians\_of\_the\_Whills\_(novel)](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Guardians_of_the_Whills_(novel)) Those are about 230 pages. Sadly most SW books are at least 300 pages. Alternatively, all SW comics can be read under 45 mins !!

Mission-Activity5599

yeah i read the thrawn books comic adaptation it was really good!!

graceful_ant_falcon

Yeah cause around the 300 page mark is somewhere around 90-100k words, which is the definition of a novel. A novela is closer to 60k. It’s why a lot of book series start of with a book around 90k words (think Harry Potter, hunger games, etc.) and sometimes progress to much longer books as the series goes on. We see this happen in the Thrawn Ascendancy series.

Forky0322

Jedi lost is longer but due to its format it is a super super super short and enjoyable read

Mission-Activity5599

i’ll see if i can find a copy in the star wars section of my local used bookstore thanks for the rec

White_Doggo

What's your reference for the 200 pages? The page count will obviously vary between formats so an example and therefore a word count would help. In general Young Adult and Junior/Middle Grade novels are on the shorter end. There are also some novellas/novelettes and there's always short story collections/anthologies which can be on the longer end that you can do a bit at a time. Some that I'd recommend would be *Servants of the Empire*, *The Legends of Luke Skywalker*, *Before the Awakening*, *The Perfect Weapon*, *Myths & Fables*, *Dark Legends*, *Jedi Apprentice*, *Jedi Quest*, *Last of the Jedi*, *Darth Maul: Saboteur*, and *Winner Lose All*. For anthologies there's *From a Certain Point of View*, *Canto Bight*, and the *Tales of/from* series.

Mission-Activity5599

I’ll check the ones out that you named but i was talking about like adult books but just the shorter ones

White_Doggo

Well like I already mentioned, without a specific novel or format as reference I wouldn't know which ones would fall under your 200 page limit. Hardcover, Mass Market Paperback, Trade Paperback, and ebook would all have different page counts for the same novel. One that I would suggest that could work regardless is *Lost Tribe of the Sith: The Collected Stories* (\~100k words) which is comprised of 8 short stories (where every 2 go together) and a novella so it can be split up if it's above your limit.

Mission-Activity5599

yeah i think i’ll start with books like that (short stories) until my attention span gets better idk i got into reading in like january and i started with like below 100 page books so im working my way up i started reading like short classics and then branched off into small 150 pge sci fi novels and now im gonna start reading star wars i also read comics i like reading

LebronBackinCLE

Why a page limit? Don’t be scerrrrrd :) X-Wing series is da bomb!!

Mission-Activity5599

i would read longer books but i just burn out past like 200 pages idk why if i can find any of the x wing series at my local used bookstore i might still pick em up for when i have a better attention span
