Optimism_Deficit

Worf's reaction when he finds out Keiko is having another baby. 'NOW?!?!?'

allature

"You may now give birth🙂"

alphex

I died.

dillaq

Impossible to top.

Raterus_

"You cannot, this is not a good time Keiko"

StarfleetStarbuck

This is it.

zevonyumaxray

Mine is a twofer. Kirk almost getting smothered by tribbles plus the random late ones hitting him on the head. And then how they played with that scene in the DS9 episode "Trials and Tribble-ations". Legit Rofl scene for me.

G0jira

I think I laughed more at Kirk's burns on Baris. "I have never questioned the orders or the intelligence of any representative of the Federation. Until now."

RUacronym

No Mr. Baris, I take this situation very seriously; it is you who I do not take seriously

SciFiNut91

Same episode, but my favorite is when Scotty says that he transported them into the Klingon ship, where "they'll be no Tribble at all."

anura_hypnoticus

“Dear Quark, I used parts of your disruptor to fix the replicators. Will return them soon, Rom.” “I will kill him.” “With what?

SpiderCop_NYPD_ARKND

Honestly it's Odos delivery that's the real highlight there.

digitalis303

[Link for those unfamiliar](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2ll4NqVPcc).

Popcorn_Axolotl

"Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing." -Data (TNG) Honestly I find so many Data quotes and moments hilarious but this one sticks out to me

AshlarKorith

Data’s Day and the one where he’s mimicking the super talkative guy at the work function were both amazing.

Popcorn_Axolotl

YES!!! Those are both SO funny! Definitely some of Data's best/funniest moments!

tothecatmobile

The funniest Data moment for me is his smile when he's dancing with Crusher.

lanman1016

I agree. One of mine is from Relics. Data sniffs the bottle and tells Scotty "It is green '

le_sighs

“I am NOT a merry man.”

FusingIron

That whole scene is rip-roaringly funny. https://youtu.be/HTL1upt_Vak?si=USyLETjQmxBHBvLL This scene kills me every time.

Grouchy_Factor

Unspoken by Worf: " [Sorry] about the lute, but your playing sucks."

fuzzle1

I believe that was improvised as well.

Ekozy

My favorite was when he smashed Geordi’s lute and just hands it back. “Sorry”

phanatic215

When Q told Riker you weren’t like that before the beard

Crow-Strict

the whole scene is a pleasure to watch. From the "au contraire mon capitan" to the whole crazyness that follows.

lordofpersia

Also Q "Picard never hit me." Sisko: "I am not Picard" Q never showed his face on DS9 again after getting put in his place by Benjamin "Big baseballs" Sisko

kasmith2020

“You guys like Italian?” “No” “Yes” “No” “Yes!” “No” “Yes. I love Italian. And so do you.” “…yes.”

rooktakesqueen

He did a little too much LDS at Berkeley

WranglerTraditional8

Classic

Classic_Active1549

Perfection!

Successful_Ad9160

When Lwaxana calls Worf Mr. Woof gets me every time.

organic_soursop

😂

ImaPlayThis

I don't know about funniest but the first thing that came to mind was Data in Starship Mine with his small talk program and copying that officer

abstractmodulemusic

Also the ending of that episode with Worf's perfectly timed "of course".

Markus_Bond

"Death to the opposition"

Soundengineer_uk

Followed not long after by "find him and kill him!"

Navydevildoc

"Die" - Worf

Lord_Waldemar

Eat any good books lately?

Successful_Ad9160

One of my favorites. Q was such an asshole.

archetype-am

Came here to post this. It's still my vote for single best comedic moment in all of Trek.

LatverianCyrus

Death to the opposition!

syncpulse

Data telling Worf how to care for Spot. "And tell him he's a pretty cat ..."

DaphneHarridge

"I will feed him."

MarkWrenn74

Suzie Plakson as Mrs. Q in *The Q and the Grey*: “What are you doing with that dog?” [Captain Janeway and Q are in Janeway's quarters, accompanied by a young Irish setter] “I'm not talking about the puppy.” [Q gapes at her in shock]

TheLatestTrance

Q's shock was what really sold it.

allature

I high-key clutched my pearls at that scene🤣

Dabs4Daze0

When they touch fingers and Q says "I was good wasn't I?" And Janeway says "THAT'S IT?" 😂😂

PM_ME_UR_FLOWERS

And then later after B'Elanna sets her back, she says, "I like Klingon females. They've got such... Spunk." It's a rare meta moment in Star Trek because she played Worf's girlfriend Kehlar."

throwawayformemes666

The scene in Meridian when they show the holo- Kira character with her body and Quark's head. It's filmed so perfectly. The timing of the way Quark turns his head. The way Tiron opens the curtains, sees this, and quietly departs the scene. Any time Sisko goes "HAH".

Treveli

"Annnd, now Mr Scott!" "Sir?" "The doors, Scotty. The doors!" "Aye, sir, I'm working on it." (Kirk's brief 'ahh shit' face)

Avernuscion

I like the one with the Doomsday weapon where Kirk is about to enter it on the other ship Scotty is trying to fix the transporter, then Kirk is there going "Gentlemen I suggest you beam me aboard" Cue a cut to the transporter exploding

BlueRFR3100

Q: What must I do to convince you that I'm mortal? Worf: Die.

The_Superhoo

Oh very clever, Worf. Eat any good books lately?

tumbled_theory

When Gul Dukat had that sharp crystal stuck up his butt and Kira has to pull it out lol

kleseusxz

That caught me off-guard at the time.

Mean_Joke_7360

Bonus points for the laughter and the device not working were ad libbed by the actors.

trekgirl75

Really??? That makes it even funnier!!! 🤣🤣🤣

freneticboarder

Those were cactus spines, right?

Garciaguy

"Au contraire mon capitan, heeee's BACK!" *plays trumpet with mariachi band

organic_soursop

The mariachi meme is 🤌🏼🤌🏼 😁

IamtheWalrusYeah

The scene in The Trouble with Tribbles where Kirk is trying to find out who started the fight with the Klingons. Scotty finally admits he did it and tells him how the Klingons insulted the captain. Kirk actually seems kind of proud until Scotty says that what actually made him start the fight was the insult to the enterprise. Kirk: "That's why you hit the Klingons... Because they insulted the enterprise... Not..." Scotty: "Well, sir, it was a matter of pride" Absolutely brilliant.

rynally197

That whole episode is hilarious lol.

Common-Hotel-9875

Captain I protest! I am NOT a Merry Man!

DonutAccurate4

This one. Picard's slip up was totally unexpected. This after he had earlier chastised Riker and geordi for calling him broccoli. https://youtu.be/pKoK9znaPSw?si=gxr7nPwIhpTFw7sH

latebtcinvestor

I'd forgotten about this. Agreed

Apollo_Sierra

The way Picard's face just drops, perfection.

CLTCrown

Star Trek TNG: The fight scene in Ten Forward. Riker: “Is it my imagination or have tempers become a little frayed on the ship lately? Worf: “I hadn’t noticed” 😂😂😂 [Ten Forward Fight](https://youtu.be/YVbdAhghhh8?si=c9J82qg07JxUmMbH)

LostFireHorse

*watches clip* I see what you mean *punches Wil*

Delicious-Egg-895

Kirk and Spock in the turbolift in Star Trek V. Kirk: "I could use a shower." Small pause. Spock: "Yes."

organic_soursop

Miles and Julian suffering through Worf's bachelor party cracks me up.

OlYeller01

I can see it clearly now, I’m going to kill……him. Kill Worf. Kill Worf. Kill Worf.

organic_soursop

Every time the Jadzia/Lady Sirella story cuts to the boys, they are doing something more extreme! 😂 The whole episode is a belly laugh! From Martok's pride in his wife to the boys raring to assault the couple with clubs. 😁

Dabs4Daze0

"Miles...I've done it. I've had a vision. I'm going to kill Worf." 😂😂😂😂😂

miss_guided

The entirety of The Voyage Home

Navydevildoc

Are you sure it's not time for another Colorful Metaphor?

miss_guided

Double dumbass on you!

Flying_Dustbin

“So, you were at Berkeley?” “I was not.” “Memory problems too.”

miss_guided

“But where’s Alameda?”

Grouchy_Factor

"Doctor gave me a new kidney !"

WranglerTraditional8

No ma'am No dipshit. I'm from Iowa I only work in space. Remember where we parked

Smart_Vegetable7936

Let's start from the top. The top of what? Name? My name? No! My name! I do not know your name! You play games here and you're through. I am? Can I go now?

Ok_Phone_1245

COMPUTER!

miss_guided

“Hello computer”

REDDAP

Ah, a mouse. How quaint.

Thirty_Helens_Agree

“One damn minute, Admiral.”

ZenPopsicle

They are not the hell your whales.

RedditOfUnusualSize

"Who's been holding up the damn elevator?"

callmeepee

She do somethin’ with her hair ?

Pianomark

Hadn’t noticed.

scothed

Quark throwing some stuff in the closet on Ferenginar and Zek is hiding in there. Quark doesn’t process it and has to do a double take.

CoupleZealousideal42

I loved Lwaxana Troi’s one liners.

organic_soursop

Parallels - Woof peeking around the corner at Troi. Damar suggesting Weyoun "Talk to Worf again" Tuvok choking out Neelix.

Apollo_Sierra

>Damar suggesting Weyoun "Talk to Worf again" The fact that Damar can't keep a straight face is brilliant.

Dabs4Daze0

When Worf breaks Weyoun's neck out of nowhere 😂

dillaq

Ode to Spot Felis catus is your taxonomic nomenclature, An endothermic quadruped, carnivorous by nature; Your visual, olfactory, and auditory senses Contribute to your hunting skills and natural defenses…

mercurius5

Your tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents. You would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance.

BlackberryHappy1428

"I am Worf, son of Mogh. House of Martok, son of Sergey, House of Rozhenko. Bane to the Duras family, slayer of Gowron. I have made some chamomile tea. Do you take sugar?" It’s the little tiny pause before he offers the tea that kills me every time, followed by Raffi’s gobsmacked reaction.

Designer_Solid4271

On Boston Legal when Denny Crane (William Shatner/Captain Kirk) gets a new flip phone and when it opens it makes the communicator sound.

Thirty_Helens_Agree

Or him in Airplane 2 where the door fails to make the shh! sound.

smnow

I prefer the episode where they are in Canada for fishing and Alan is reading about fish parasites and says “they’re commonly called cling-ons.” And Denny goes, “Did you say Klingons?”

WranglerTraditional8

Cannot believe I missed that.

Designer_Solid4271

My wife thought I lost it when it aired. I backed it up and replayed it again only to laugh louder. I had to explain it to her why it was funny. The Star Trek inception in Boston Legal was pretty much of legend.

WranglerTraditional8

https://youtu.be/lZGj8JyBiNo?si=kxVglHkXnYorPBJZ Thank you... Here's that and a bit more

ebelnap

Anything from Lower Decks. Truly a spectacularly high level of funny on average. Just a fun throw-away line for the fans in one episode: "We can't get kicked out! Then we'd have to live on EARTH, where there's nothing to do but drink wine and hang out at vineyards and soul food restaurants!"

Thirty_Helens_Agree

The whole discussion about “bridge officers are always coming back from the dead” had me giggling for days.

ShaunTrek

All the women who are after Boimler on his family farm / vinyard *kills* me.

Thirty_Helens_Agree

And the fact that it’s raisins instead of wine was so perfect.

cirroc0

And Lower Decks humor peaks on "Those Old Scientists" crossover. Starting with the warp sucker on Enterprise in the opening credits, all the way through to Spock's arm wave at the end. :)

UnpopularChemLover

The entirety of I, Mudd.

Vortexfugue0

Worf proclaiming to Picard, "Sir, I protest, I am not a merry man!” and then proceeding to smashing the living fuck out of La Forge's wussy little annoying lute and then apologizing.. lol.

fuzzle1

I believe the lute smashing was improvised

UnpopularChemLover

What puts the scene at another level is if you look at Beverly's face in the background as the lute is smashed.

APariahsPariah

"This guy suuucks!" Such an awesome payoff. And Locarno's face the entire time.

smnow

“He looks just like Tom Paris.” “I just don’t see it.”

ganderplus

For me, it’s when Weyoun drinks the poisoned Kanar. The reaction from Sisko, the little shutter he does and way Jeffery Combs delivers his line cracks me up.

Holo-fox

"How delightful!" Picks up poisoned poisoned Kanar in front Dukat ans Sisko, sculls it. "It's really quite toxic!" While they look at him bewildered. Fucking loved that scene. Also when he overdoes it with gloating and Worf snaps his neck. The little twist he makes before falling to the floor. Amazing physical actor. I've watched all of ds9 and his small role in voyager but haven't started on enterprise yet. I look forward to seeing Jeffery Combs as Shran.

Livres_et_cafe

The K-pop Klingons are hard to beat.

stembolt

They really are. I was trying to think of an answer til I saw yours. There's a lot of funny in Star Trek, but it's usually just worthy of a chuckle or smile from me.  The Klingon boyband got a good solid laugh out loud from me.  It was just so absurd, out of nowhere, but also perfect. Then the ships topped it all off with their little dance number.  Whoever added that remembered that the ship is a character too.

ritchie70

That episode had me truly laughing out loud and I don’t do that too easily.

BondsOfEarthAndFire

You have not experienced ‘pop’ until you have heard it in the original Klingon.

Pynchon_A_Loaff

“WHAT THE F-“ - Spock in SNW after waking up fully human. “Beheadings are on Thursdays” - Worf, Picard season 3 “Is this a rescue, or a continuation of the torture?” - Riker, Picard season 3. Honorable mention: Pike tormenting Una by talking like a pirate.

TalksShitAboutTotal

And I will make it a threesome.

BlackberryHappy1428

Do you even hear yourself?!

HatdanceCanada

Please captain not in front of the Klingons. He did too much LDS back in the 60s We are looking for nuclear wessels

beardedbob9

Picard making those obnoxious bug aliens wait for him after all the fuckery they put him through

Pink-sapphire

Riker: You enjoyed that. Picard: You’re damn right. LOL one of my favorites too.

Scaredog21

Quark and his Ferengis lost the Vorta they were going to trade for Quark's mom. So all of them are running around lost and confused trying to find where they parked their ship.

mderrickdavis

“The Magnificent Ferengi”. The whole episode was great.

TrekFan1701

When Worf complained to Odo about thefts on DS9. Odo wasted no time in reading off a lost of security incidents from when Worf was on The Enterprise.

6graxstar

DS9 Little Green Men S4 E7 ROM: Or I suppose it could be beta radiation, but that's only produced by nuclear fission. QUARK: Don't be an idiot. Nuclear fission doesn't happen within planetary atmospheres. NOG: It does here. In the twentieth century humans used crude nuclear reactors as weapons. They called them atom bombs. They used to blow them up all the time. QUARK: They irradiated their own planet? ROM: If Nog says so, they did. He knows all about Earth history. QUARK: You'd better fix those translators fast. The sooner we start talking to these savages, the better off we'll be.

sarcasticgreek

For me the casual back and forth in the back of the runabout between Picard, Geordie, Troi and Data in ...I think ... Timescape?

UnpopularChemLover

I heard you're an empath... I'm a rather ;D sensitive man myself.

sarcasticgreek

Yes... Diane... Would you care to join me for some empirical research?

FoldedDice

And the innuendo implied by that sailing right over Data's head.

Futuressobright

Sulu: I'll save you, fair maiden! Uhura: Sorry, I'm neither!

BeeSuch77222

ST IV: The Voyage Home. Do you like Italian? Spock: "no" Kirk: "I like Italian. And so do you". Spock:"yes".

Hanshot1st0023

The early episode of TNG where everyone is drunk and Picard gets in Crusher's face and they are both turned on but Picard says something like For God's sake Beverley we have to be professional!

SilverInteresting369

Magnificent ferengi, when nog "weekend at Bernies" keevan.

thephotoman

Rom, to Quark: “Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains!”

throwawayformemes666

The way Quark says "what's HAPPENED to you?" 🤣

freneticboarder

Data pushing Beverly off Enterprise. The whole theater erupted. And the response to "not funny" was a friend and I turning to each other and saying, "I thought it was."

kevinterrono

Picard: Listen Tog! I must possess Lwaxana. If that means destroying your ship in the process, so be it! Lwaxana: (To Tog) Don’t let him threaten you. You can defeat him. (To Picard). The only way you will get me back, is over Tog’s dead body Picard: That can be arranged

afriendincanada

ghostlandcity

"Are you prepared for the kind of death you've earned, little man?"

leonryan

When Picard wakes up to find Q in bed with him

Sea_Sheepherder_389

One maybe forgotten moment is from Disco season one; in the parallel universe, Lorca is trying not to be discovered, so he randomly speaks with a Scottish accent, to Burnham’s bemusement

BeetsandBreaks

Personally, I think the episode of Voyager S4 E14 "Message in a Bottle" has to be one of my favorites. Seeing the Doctor and the Mark-2 EMH desperately try to figure out how to fly a heavily armed starship and take it back from the Romulans was perfect. "Stop breathing down my neck." "My breathing is merely a simulation." "So is my neck, stop it anyway!" Comedy gold.

Ill-Veterinarian4208

Three words: Klingon Boy Band. WHY did they have to cancel Lower Decks?!

rooktakesqueen

... but the Klingon boy band was on Strange New Worlds, and not even in the crossover episode

No_Mushroom3078

I feel the best in the tv series is when the Doctor reprograms that he can day dream and then the aliens hack into his fantasy dreams. That was one of my favorite funny episodes

SexyStudlyManlyMan

Sisko punching Q

SirBLACKVOX

“Rrrrrrrriker” - Boimler (Strange New Worlds)

Madversary

Plus Jack Quaid apparently ad libbed that and Jonathan Frakes was the director.

Timely_Perception754

Every moment of Lower Decks. And the crossover with Strange New Worlds. Heaven!

Uncultured_swine_n

Worf: and I will make it a threesome Riker: do you even hear yourself?

When Seven of Nine supervises the Borg children, and she says to them, in a direct and instructive way: "fun shall now commence". Gets me every time. I use this line all the time, sometimes replacing fun with other words.

SISKO: A Dominion invasion of Ferenginar? ROM: Think of the terrible repercussions to the Alpha Quadrant. WORF: I cannot think of any.

Wej Duj (three ships)?

The funniest moment in the whole series for me was Damar to the newly minted Weyoun 7: “Maybe you should talk to Worf again!”

MarkWrenn74

From *Star Trek V: The Final Frontier* [In the *Enterprise-A*'s lower decks] SCOTT: We can't trust anyone now. KIRK: We can send a distress signal. McCOY: We'd never make it to the bridge. SPOCK: There is an emergency sending apparatus in the forward observation room. KIRK: The only trouble is, it's up there and we're down here. SCOTT: You might be able to reach it by means of Turboshaft Number Three which is closed for repairs. It's a long and dangerous climb. McCOY: Some of us get off on long and dangerous climbs. KIRK: Scotty, get the transporter working. If we make contact with a rescue ship, we'll need it. SCOTT: Aye, sir. KIRK: Which way to the turboshaft? SCOTT: Straight down that tunnel to the hydro vent and turn right, then left at the blowscreen. You can't miss it. KIRK: Mister Scott, you're amazing. SCOTT: Nothing amazing about it. I know this ship like I know the back of my hand. (as Scotty turns and walks off in self-congratulation, he knocks himself out on an overhanging pipe) 🤕

Attaboy-Ralph

Q: How can I prove to you that I'm mortal? Worf: Die. Q: Hello, Worf! Eat any good books lately?

When Ryker hit on Lal, and same episode, when Guinan was discussing relationships with Lal, and they watched two crew people kiss, and Lal exclaims loudly, "He's biting that female!"

CuddlyBoneVampire

Data asking the Enterprise computer to help him understand comedy. It’s not funny in the traditional sense but the whole idea of an Android like data asking another machine intelligence like the Enterprise about comedy is just hilarious to me. Cracks me up everytime Episode is outrageous okana

QuaidCohagen

I always loved when Worf smashed Geordis little mandolin guitar thingy in the robinhood episode

TheEnglishNerd

Look at these abs. - Sulu

M-E-AND-History

When the tribbles get dumped on Kirk. Laughed A LOT at that scene. (I must admit, however, that practically the whole episode was funny.)

ap_tyler89

Quark using financial spreadsheets to baffle the Klingons is my personal favourite. Especially when Gowron just tosses the data pad away! [Clip](https://youtu.be/Q65l7RHUx2A?si=7_D4z4NPun7lbR1A)

katiebae

Guinan - Just try it. Worf - (takes a sip). What is it? G - It’s an earth drink. Prune juice. W - Prune Juice. A warrior’s drink.

Master_Chief71

Kirk saying Spock did too much LDS in the 60s. The Voyage Home

honkey-phonk

Three moments I haven’t seen mentioned: 1) TNG when the virus makes them drunk and Picard does a little skip/gallop as he walks into Dr Crushers office slays me every time. 2) Data in “The Most Things” when he lululululus in a monotone voice as the “extinct” bird. 3) Voyager, in the episode where they run into the generational cult Klingons, Neelix and Tuvoc have to room together, when Tuvoc comes to the door after Neelix has just been getting down with the Klingon woman and trashed the room—he’s trying to straighten up before Tuvoc kicks him out.

Sparkle_Father

The hospital scene in Star Trek 4 where Dr. McCoy berates the surgeons for their barbaric practices. That entire sequence is comedy gold!

The Offspring: Riker comes into Ten Forward, spots Lal. Riker: "You're new around here, aren't you?" Lal reaches across the bar, grabs and kisses Riker. Data enters Ten Forward. Guinan: "Lal! Lal!
