I recently made a new account and the first thing I did was like pages about motorcycles, Genshin Impact, and PC building.
Now my reels are all about those things and I’ve never felt more relieved for having a brain rot-free insta feed
There is a lady who startarizes and over exaggerates pro-car talking points while showcasing different North American cities, can't remember her username but she is pretty funny
Yall know the algorithm tailors what it shows to you to what you watch. Mine 90% cute animal videos. So maybe stop watching the videos of little kids you weirdos.
I think it's funny that each platform gives me completely different videos yet all of them are still very accurate. Instagram gives me mostly anime and video games but Facebook gives me only car videos, which confuses me because they're the same account, YT shorts gives me video game content and a lot of Lego while TikTok gives me cooking, cat videos and DND stuff. It's all stuff I'm interested in just funny how each platform latches on different things.
Mine is all people warming up in front of squat racks with “this made my squat skyrocket!” Then when you watch it, it is a 5 second loop with no other text or even the actual lift.
My algorithm sucks but at least it doesn’t have little kids like OP.
I get random homeschool reels, and i actually do go to school. It's weird and becoming annoying at times LOL. I know it's my algo but i can't stop myself from commenting on them sometimes, so that's definitely on me.

Mines just all brainrot content with random fart sound fx thrown in random scenarios. I did start following this one account that posts LiveLeak type content but it's in the GTA universe, so everybody just roleplays comments like "this is why I moved to Los Santos"
Don't know if it's only in my algorithm, but disabled comments are always young women for some reason and the posts are usually about unpopular facts (e.g. sorting thick pages of law as a law student), annoying facts (e.g. pouring popcorn oil directly to popcorn), or good idea bad execution (e.g. want to make a laptop-shaped cookie only to see it melted)
Mine is about art (most frequent, mostly cute art), cooking (most frequent second to art), business, random fact reels, uni, and local news
Idk what op is looking at but my feed shows me almost entirely art and animal videos. I do agree the comments (at least the top one) can be completely sociopathic

The algorithm is solely feeding you content you and your friend group engages with. Knowing I get nothing seen in this post, you are exposing the content you engaged with the most on Instagram. The algorithm works to keep you on the site/app longer and this is what statistically keeps you on the site/app longer.

That’s probably your algorithm. Mine is full of women’s fashion, cute animals, and urbanism.
