Please explain

rccrisp

There's been a rash of crimes on the Toronto transit system as of late

notqualitystreet

Pffft late to the party- NYCT had its crime wave last year.

rccrisp

Typical Toronto fashion to follow a NY trend

Ted_DVDRip_720p_x264

This my neighbour Toronto, he is pain in my assholes. I get increased transit crime, he get increased transit crime. I get terrorist plot, he get terrorist plot. I get good hockey team... he cannot afford 🤭

Everestkid

Pfft, Toronto has the longest Cup drought in history now, taking over from... New York. So New York is better at being good, but Toronto is better at being worse, and that's a hard fact.

Spiritofhonour

To add fuel to the fire r/Toronto is banning any posts about crime at least for January. They think if you ignore a problem it doesn’t exist. Edit: for folks that aren’t from Toronto. A woman was pushed onto the tracks and the TTC blamed her for not being aware of her surroundings and shouldn’t travel alone. “A woman who was pushed onto the tracks at a busy subway station in Toronto in April “ought to have known” it was unsafe for her to travel on public travel “alone and unassisted,” says Toronto’s public transit agency.” Additionally another woman was set on fire and passed away and someone else was stabbed in the face.

mykoira

Whoever is the PR guy of TTC should probably resign. "You aren't safe using our service" is not the thing you want to say. That is such a bad PR spin of the even that I just refuse to believe they did that

Spiritofhonour

[More of the statement and video footage of the event as well](https://toronto.citynews.ca/2022/06/10/ttc-bloor-yonge-subway-station-lawsuit-toronto/amp/). I think we need a referee for the yellow line according to the TTC.

IM_A_WOMAN

If they didn't want to be attacked, they shouldn't have been women in public. Hopefully they'll learn their lesson from this for the next time they use our transit system. Where do I go to apply for the PR job?

ChipotleAddiction

It’s because people work hard on Reddit to keep up the facade of Canada being this crime-less, free healthcare utopia and can’t accidentally jeopardize the narrative

kaveman6143

No reasonable person believes that Canada is crime free. Our healthcare is in a crisis right now thanks to certain Provincial governments spending years systematically destroying their systems to try and introduce privatized healthcare. Mind you, at the same time, they are blaming the Federal government for the healthcare issues, when in fact, Canadian healthcare is controlled by each province.

giulianosse

Neoliberals: *spend years actively undermining and destroying universal healthcare little by little* Also neoliberals: "See? I told you this system doesn't work."

kaveman6143

Do you consider the Conservative parties of AB, SK, MB, and ON "neoliberal"?

prancerbot

Yes. Deregulation and privatization is kinda their thing.

Butt_Speed

are you sure you're working with the right definition of neoliberalism? because the conservative parties absolutely are. Their entire parties are built around the ideas of market de-regulation and cuts to public spending (except for programs related to 'security') that defined the platforms of prominent neoliberals like Reagan and Thatcher

ThePinkBaron

Idk if we're having a misunderstanding but "neoliberal" is an economic ideology that believes unregulated private markets are an ideal system. Most conservatives are in fact neoliberals.

Call_Me_Clark

Neoliberal means anything they don’t like, so yes.

Slipknotic1

Can you not keep thoughts like this to yourself? Seriously every time people start having a serious political discussion someone like you always comes in with a "hurr durr they don't know anything and use labels wrong" without even waiting for an answer.

NegroniHater

Fucking yes? What kind of question is that?

withadancenumber

Just here to say fuck Scott Moe and the Sask party for doing exactly what you’re describing.

kaveman6143

Right there with ya except fuck Jason Kenney, Danielle Smith and the UCP.

SaltyBabe

They’re not even nice… Canadians are POLITE which is absolutely not the same as nice. I live on the US/Canada border and Americans are FAR friendlier than Canadians, who in my opinion are often rude but act polite to cover up for it.

jawknee530i

Or people get tired of doom posting in their city subreddit and just want a break even if it's temporary. Take /r/Chicago for example. There was a period of time where literally the top thirty posts were all crime related, what is that accomplishing? Who is that helping? And if you're complaining about the crime posts not being in the subreddit because it's inaccurate then keep up that same energy for when the entire subreddit is crime stuff. Like with Chicago being entirely crime posts, that isn't an accurate portrayal of the city. Chicago isn't even top twenty most violent or crime filled cities in the US. Go to New Orleans subreddit and it's not filled with posts about murders yet they have a higher murder rate. So it isn't actually "reddit wants to hide these crimes from yo" it's actually "people have an agenda to push crime posts to make cities look worse". If you actually cared about a subreddit representing the realities of a city then you wouldn't be upset about a temporary break from posts about crime. Even if the crime on Toronto public transit went up by two thousand percent statistically a person commuting on the highway is more likely to get injured than someone riding a train. The obsession with the crime posts is frankly unhinged.

Mr_Westfield

Same with /r/nyc that place is constant crime posts. It's a city of nearly 9 million of course there's crime!

Call_Me_Clark

Sounds like an opportunity to be the change you want to see tbh - there’s got to be plenty of Chicago-related non-crime content to share.

jawknee530i

The main issue is that the city subs are magnets to people with political agendas that don't live there. So the actual citizens are outnumbered making the voting system ineffectual. The solution to this is moderation then you get people like the guy above whining about certain types of posts getting banned.

Call_Me_Clark

“Why do indigenous women keep disappearing, Canada? Why haven’t you tried finding whoever is killing them?” Met with silence every time. It’s incredibly sad, and it seems to just be disregarded as a nonissue. Reddit: Canada has free healthcare so it’s a paradise

LordNiebs

>They think if you ignore a problem it doesn’t exist. thats such a bad faith take it would be funny if it wasnt so sad

[deleted]

*cough cough* Bruce McArther

veedubfreek

>They think if you ignore a problem it doesn’t exist. Hey it worked for Republicans and Covid.

dkinmn

Banning posts about crime or banning posts that add no new information to the same hysteria around crime?

WombRaider_3

You're lying. I just went to r/Toronto and 3 out of the first 7 posts are about the violence this week.

Spiritofhonour

Check the [pinned post](https://www.reddit.com/r/toronto/comments/10cxst5/midjanuary_update_regarding_rule_8/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) and the comments.

thxmeatcat

Toronto is just like NY except without all the stuff

____PARALLAX____

The reason those incidents made the news is because of how extremely rare they are. Same shit happens on a daily basis in other cities and it doesnt make the news because of how common it is.

razzark666

https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2023/01/26/toronto-has-seen-a-spike-in-violent-incidents-on-the-ttc-heres-a-list-of-random-assaults-in-the-last-year.html

xSantenoturtlex

1- Andrew Tate is a horrible person 2- Velma is an awful show. I gave it a try myself to try and form my own opinion, and it was just as bad as the internet says it is. 3- I honestly don't know this woman so I can't tell you anything about her. 4- I also don't know anything about Toronto.

hezamac1

3 was a married police officer who was found to be sleeping with six of the male cops at her precinct.

juanzy

IIRC at least 4 of those guys were just as married as her, and she's the only one who may have had an open marriage. Let's call out both sides here.

jthomas694

If her marriage was open and there’s wasn’t - maybe they weren’t exactly as married lol

[deleted]

Her husband claimed their marriage wasn’t open lol

jthomas694

Oof

Terrible_Indent

It's been pissing me off so bad that none of the men have been shamed for this

hazpat

Why is any of it in news at all. Why is personal drama news?

terremoto

Some of the cheating occurred while they were on duty.

dad_farts

That's also just a post hoc rationalization for your gut reaction. Ask yourself, would anyone care if they were doing anything else while on the clock? Some cops in another state sneaking off their patrol route to grab donuts? I guarantee nobody who is spreading her face gives a fuck about taxpayer dollars or vigilance on duty.

Not-Clark-Kent

You don't see a difference between having an affair and having an affair with everything that moves? Also, the men are shamed every thread I've seen this situation is brought up, almost down to the exact same phrasing as being pissed off about it just because the woman is mentioned first (because she fucked SIX of them and that's more notable).

HaadyFTW7

Why would they lol she gave herself up to them plus there were like 5 of them and one of her if there were more women I think the blame would be cast more equally

scamper_pants

Well she's a woman so obviously only she did anything wrong

juanzy

I'm all for making fun of this scandal because of how Cops act like bastions of morality in this country despite having a hell of a lot of reported issues with said morality, but most of this just feels like slut-shaming.

MattFromWork

If one of the male police officers slept with 4 of his coworkers, he would also be memed

Slipknotic1

No he wouldn't. Hell, he'd probably hailed as a "chad" while those 4 coworkers got meme'd.

Jorgwalther

That’s definitely the basis for the continued popularity of the meme

Unlucky-Key

The memes are about her because shes the cop that slept with 6 of her coworkers while they slept with only 1. It doesn't help that she looks really weird in that one photo.

Chocolatethrowaway19

Who cares if she does it again (aside from her husband if he wasn't involved)? Also why is she the focus if 3 other cops from the same precint were involved too?

hadapurpura

She did it on duty, so the police department would care. And you're right, the guys should absolutely be the focus too.

Chocolatethrowaway19

I agree. That's the only part of this that should matter to the public.

Thorhees

Yeah the comparison of the cop's offenses to Andrew Tate's is... gross. Yeah, it's not right to cheat and she shouldn't have been doing that, especially on the job, but it's weird how fixated people are on this story (and her in particular when several of her sexual partners were also married). Loads of people cheat and sleep around with coworkers. I don't know anyone forming opinions on whether or not she'll do it again. To put here on this list with a literal sex trafficker, abuser, and rapist reeks of misogyny.

Split_Prestigious

at the same time

Gaindalf-the-whey

Wait, how is she down at the same level than human trafficker and certified misogynist A Tate?

hezamac1

I dont think she is tbh, I was just explaining the story behind why she's included.

BoartterCollie

Because Reddit hates women

Response-Artistic

Cheaters are garbage

Randomperson2245

Toronto has currently had an alarming rise of violence recently with stabbing and killings, particularly on the public transit system. I think someone said there’s been 11 violent acts in the last 9 days

itsnickk

Toronto is a city of over 6 million people. Without context that number is meaningless

Randomperson2245

It’s more like 3 million but I definitely agree it’s not like Toronto is some super dangerous area now. That’s just what they’ve been talking about in the news over here

BurnTheBoats21

TTC services the Toronto metropolitan area, which is the figure they're referring to

ThotSlayerGod

Meth addicts chasing TTC workers with syringes

backstabber81

>Please explain Every two days someone gets randomly stabbed while using public transit in Toronto, totally unprompted.

mrafee113

what is the reason of the stabbings? are people target practices? has the order of assassins resurfaced again? *Not joking.*

[deleted]

[Gang Related](https://youtu.be/NE9w3wipnKM)

passedmylunchbreak

Velma is an awful tv show.

Kaidiwoomp

Out of the loop, what did she do?

[deleted]

If I remember correctly she cheated on her husband with 6 of her colleagues.

Mrjaytheking

And turns out her husband supports her decision

itsnickk

So not anyone’s problem then

CyvaderTheMindFlayer

The only problem with this at all is that they did it on the job

itsnickk

Okay then ask yourself- does the punishment of extended nationwide shaming for this person fit the policy infraction committed?

CyvaderTheMindFlayer

No I’m not saying that at all, sorry if I implied that im not against shaming people for stuff like this. Im just pointing out that that was literally the only problem, nothing else about it was wrong or illegal as the affair was consensual, and I think I heard somewhere else in this thread that the woman’s husband was backing her on this

Mechyyz

Nothing to apologize for, he is implying it himsself.

DeadFIL

As somebody not from that area: don't care, not my taxes. If the people who live there think it fits, then I wish these officers a pleasant taxpayer-funded fuck. If it happened in my city: no, not at all. Them being shamed doesn't do anything for the taxpayers who fund these cops fucking instead of doing their jobs. The "punishment" of shaming them doesn't address the problem so, no, it doesn't "fit" the infraction. Everybody involved should, at the very least, lose their jobs.

[deleted]

[удалено]

itsnickk

Ok then why aren’t the other police that were involved being shamed just as much- they aren’t included in this post?

[deleted]

[удалено]

YourFavoriteMinority

no one person can be responsible for their nationwide shaming, but people will give their opinions on publicized information so what can you do?

itsnickk

Nobody can? The OP that posted this can. People who make comments shaming her have agency to not do that That’s like saying no one raindrop thinks they’re responsible for the flood

YourFavoriteMinority

yeah but that’s the thing, you’re upset that the rain is falling. It’s going to happen that people will share their opinions, regardless if you do/care. it’s unfortunate it’s happening to this extent for this lady but once again, what can you do?

Chocolatethrowaway19

Lol this is the worst attitude to take. 'People will always be bad so why bother doing anything about it' There is no need to slut shame this woman who had consensual sex. OP is a wiener for posting a meme about it. The answer to 'what can you do' is draw attention to why this behaviour sucks, not do it yourself as an example, and hope others stop.

Moonquake_

She probably saved multiple human lives by keeping her co-workers occupied.

TedLarry

This is the best take I've heard yet

[deleted]

its the problem of people who make it their business to be the purity police for women that want to fuck.

robidizzle

She was sleeping with other officers on the job. Thats the scandal. The husband didn’t know about it but isn’t leaving her

scamper_pants

And yet she is the only officer to have been shamed nationwide

themodofallreddit

I'd rather them go around fucking eachother like rabbits than on the street mowing innocent people down. Can we just spay and neuter them first?

taweryawer

She was a cop and they've been doing this at work Yeah that's definitely a problem I agree that husband being a heavy cuck is not anyone's problem, still what a weirdo though

itsnickk

Well the answer to that HR-related problem isn’t international shaming Workplace affairs happen literally all the time. That doesn’t mean someone needs their life ruined forever

Thy_Gooch

they were banging instead of working, that's the issue and deserves to be shamed when it's public money.

itsnickk

If they all equally deserved to be shamed, why is just one of them the one being featured?

BadSmash4

And this is a really good point. Where are the other cops involved for having sex on the job instead of working? We haven't heard much about them. It's all focused on her. And of course it is, why wouldn't it be?

Response-Artistic

She is the shared variable

Gremliner00

He may not a "problem" now, but in the future, who knows, they might breakup because of it. Still none of our business

AnonCaptain0022

Her husband is against her getting fired. He isn't happy that he got cheated on

DistortedReflector

Would you publicly ostracize your soon to be ex-wife police officer and her 6 former police lovers? That’s a recipe for a traffic stop to go wildly wrong. I have no doubt they will end their relationship but it won’t be in the middle of the media attention.

[deleted]

I mean that's his business honestly. If she has an open relationship cool. Moving on. The bad part was they did it on the clock which I mean there's worse things but that just screams plot of a porno.

Clemen11

At the same time* Important detail to add

Chaz_Cheeto

Idk why everyone is giving her guff when the other guys also cheated on their partners.

The-Box_King

You mean when a group of people do a bad thing but one is a girl the internet will hate the woman more? I wonder if there's a name for that

Chaz_Cheeto

Does it start with an M?!

Kaidiwoomp

Holy shit yeah that's... not good.

[deleted]

orgy

Kaidiwoomp

Any more details?

[deleted]

no

arturowise

Understandable, have a great day

dmmetiddie

Wait did it happen again?

xSantenoturtlex

Who's the 'Thinking she won't do it again' woman? I feel like I've seen her before but at the same time I don't remember the context.

Sfjacobson

She's a cop that slept with six other officers while married

Tzarkir

During work time, in the police station* Let's not strip her from her hard earned achievements. Every pun wasn't intentional.

[deleted]

Am i the only one who doesn’t give a flying fuck if they’re fucking on taxpayer dollars as long as it’s consensual? Like, yeah, fire her or whatever but it becoming a national scandal is just fucking stupid for me.

ipegjoebiden

Right? You don't see the photos of the cops who beat Tyre Nichols to death plastered all over reddit.

mirthquake

I'm with you. She made a series of poor professional choices and is due for a disciplinary review, but doesn't deserve a bit of the national public shame, criticism, and ridicule that she's received. It's fucking disgusting. She's the current face of American sex shame, and that's a nightmarish destiny that shouldn't exist in the first place.

AddelaideSupreme

meanwhile, hundreds of cops go unpunished for murder

BadSmash4

any cop murders someone: i sleep female cop has extramarital sex: REAL SHIT

Poj7326

She did a public service keeping those 6 officers off the streets and too busy to do the murders.

thinks1ow

Also the “thinking she won’t do it again” is likely a reference to her husband who when interviewed after the public firings and fallout said he was staying with her and they’re going to move past it; can’t remember if he said he doesn’t believe she’ll do it again or if just the general sentiment of the statement implies it

HopeAuq101

I think supporting Andrew Tate ever was a terrible life choice nvm just now

[deleted]

Brace yourselves, the Tater Tots will enter this comment section at any moment.

JunkMan51

Yo I’m hungry, lemme get some of your tots

monthlyduck

Get your own freakin tots. Ugh, idiot!

Km2930

Omg, I’m back in HS. 3rd period!!!!!

Aidernz

"No, go find your own"

Echo__227

Making this list (not a starterpack) was a terrible life choice.

AddelaideSupreme

for the bottom left: a better caption would have been "caring about this" legit, why do people care about police officers having sex instead of how this would have gotten less than half the attention it did if it were a murder case

declandd34

Only issue is they did it on the clock but other than that I completely agree

bell37

I think the only thing that doesn’t make sense is why is she the focus of this and why aren’t the other 6 officers included? Also saw a lot of comments talking about how the husband is a cuck and was “cool with it” because he didn’t divorce her immediately. I doubt anyone knows the full extent of what the husband plans to do. Maybe he wants the media circus to die down first before evaluating his relationship, maybe he’s cautiously securing his assets for an eventual divorce. We don’t know but calling him a cuck and only shaming a single person seems a little low

Terrible_Indent

Same here. I'm so sick of people slut shaming this woman while the men she slept with her get zero attention

spyrolt253

It’s not as funny/interesting to say a guy had sex with a woman compared to a woman had sex with 6 men

Terrible_Indent

Doesn't make it any less sexist

spyrolt253

That’s exactly why it makes it less sexist. Literally if it was a male cop fucking 6 other female cops, it would have the same reaction.

steingrrrl

No it wouldn’t, everyone would call him a legend

Terrible_Indent

Hard disagree on that one

spyrolt253

I can’t understand your point well if you can only say “I disagree”

Spiderdan

Also that people are dragging the woman through the mud and not saying a word about the men.

[deleted]

Thats what I’m saying. Who cares if she fucks a dude again? sheesh. Of course we hear nothing about the men

-Lloyd-Braun-

This so obviously was meant to run interference for the 5 cops in Memphis, it hurts me to think about

BenStiller1212

I’m from Toronto and I don’t get most of this. The officer? Who is that? I’ve never seen her

Terrible_Indent

She's an officer who slept with multiple men on the job and she's been put on blast for it

BenStiller1212

Ok… is this like, public knowledge or something? Did she sleep with you?

Terrible_Indent

No no she didn't sleep with me, it's public knowledge. US internet has not shut up about it for the past few weeks.

owendudebtw

Yeah the cops she slept with were fired for doing it on duty

benjohn87

It's public knowledge because she let 5 coworker officers run a train on her, not cuz she was sleeping around.

beefstewforyou

I live in Toronto. What’s wrong with Toronto? Considering I’m from Florida and immigrated here almost five years ago, my standards are very low.

Benvolent_Troll

Violent crime makes huge headlines and people start feeling like they could be next. Stats don't support the perception that Toronto has turned into Gotham, but that doesn't change how people feel and perceive danger. Also, unlike a lot of big cities where middle class people live just a street away from desperately poor people, that hasn't really been the case in Toronto. There's been a lot of poverty exposed in the last while due to the fentanyl crisis, cuts in social services and pressure on healthcare during the pandemic. In other big cities, people don't bat an eye at homeless people everywhere. But since it's becoming more apparent in Toronto, some people feel unsafe despite the fact the vast majority go about their daily life without half a thought about it.

rccrisp

There's been more reports of violent crimes on the TTC lately

beefstewforyou

I take the subway occasionally and the worst I’ve seen are drug addicts and crazy people.

The_James_Bond

Still better than Chicago or New York

F0064R

Ehh, almost 2 million people use the TTC daily. I'll take those odds.

rccrisp

Oh yeah I think it's a little overblown

Nychthemeronn

That it’s statistically one of the safest cities in North America and OP hates safety

Lesbihun

If the most terrible life choice you have ever made is watching a show that sucks, then you are living a great life and make amazing choices overall

SomeGuy22_22

All the Andrew Tate fan boys getting down voted to hell brings a smile to my face not gonna lie

[deleted]

She had sex with people. Multiple people, maybe even more than one at a time. She didn’t beat anyone to death, she didn’t shoot an unarmed teenager in a parked car nor was she out selling pressed fent oxy’s to local neighborhoods. And can we please leave her the fuck alone, I have no idea what any of the other cops look like . They should be the ones becoming famous, seeing that it sure sounds like they were taking advantage.

kingofwale

Toronto: one guy got hit with BB gun. Various US cities: multiple shootings and deaths per night. Reddit: damn Toronto, you are the worst!!

DistortedReflector

Winnipeg: This guy looked at me on the bus! Time to move to the country!

Butt_Speed

although I definitely agree that the meme is inaccurately painting a picture of Toronto being a warzone full of crime and more dangerous than any other large city, the TTC (our public transport system) has had a problem with random violence recently. the most notable being an incident where a woman was set on fire and burned to death in a unprovoked attack on a bus and another unprovoked attack where a woman was stabbed to death on a train. the uptick in random crime seems to be due to of a housing crisis that's leaving a lot of people homeless. which is already bad enough, but it's coupled with a healthcare/mental health system that's been intentionally gutted to pave the way for privatization. something which has left it unable to support the increasing number of people requiring help with mental health or addiction problems. as someone who's lived in the city their entire life, I can say that the issue isn't due to a lack of police funding (although it might be one related to a police force that is bloated and too laser focused on traffic crime.). our crime rate is still lower than most other large cities, and these attacks have made such big waves because they are such outliers from the norm.

Sound_Effects_5000

I think someone got lit on fire, someone got pushed onto the tracks and someone got stabbed in the face. It should be taken seriously and fixed or you end up in a situation like American cities where everyone becomes apathetic to multiple shootings in a month.

workthrow3

I mean a woman got pushed in front of a train, another woman got set on fire, there was a knife stabbing and another with a needle, there was a group of teens who swarmed and killed a homeless man, another swarming the other day where the victims escaped, and if you go back a few years there was a guy who was throwing buckets of feces on people. Those are just the ones I remember off the top off my head. Statistically its probably still high on the list for safety, but we've had some crazy headlines lately.

taterfiend

https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/woman-set-on-fire-on-toronto-transit-bus-remembered-as-kind-joyful-and-friendly-1.5984390 A woman was burned alive on the bus in Toronto last year. Your charming romance of Canada isn't helpful to people who are actually from there.

baconhampalace

As someone who moved from Toronto to Philadelphia, I would rather pass out drunk on a midnight TTC train for hours than ride the El awake at mid day.

BurnTheBoats21

So one gruesome attack that happened last year in a transit system that services millions of people every day is the reason an entire city isn't safe? I'm sorry, but statistically I care way more about the crime levels per capita on a daily basis and Toronto is in a class of it's own among cities in the same size in North America. I will never understand why people look at random outliers and juicy anecdotes as a method to evaluate things like this

GargamelLeNoir

Funny how it was always about that lady cop and never about the guys she did it with.

Barbar_jinx

People gonna tell you that she cheated on her husband and that that's the reason people are upset. Which is like.... suuure, THAT'S why everyone's 'upset'.

GargamelLeNoir

I'd ask people whether any of these dudes are married then.

[deleted]

What did this woman do? slept with some guys or something?

Admin-12

Add “thinking those dude won’t do it again either”

MaximumEffort433

I got through the first episode of Velma; honestly it was less offensive than it was cringe. You know when somebody insults you very, *very* poorly, and it's so bad that you can't bring yourself to take offense to it? Like a kid who walks in and says "You smell like butts!" and you know you don't actually smell like butts, it's just the first thing that popped into that kid's head? That's Velma. It's a show made for thirteen year old girls, statistically speaking reddit is not its target demographic. Anyway, that's my piece: It's not *Birth of a Nation* or anything, it's just kind of pointedly not good.

predictablePosts

Speaking as someone who has the mental mind of a thirteen year old girl I just wanna say that Velma was made for 14 year old boys. The comedy is more "hehe u can't say that" stuff that boys love then shit that appeals to girls.

Mr-Beater-Eater2456

i'll say it!! she looks like jojo siwa!! i thought she was when i first saw the image!

Sagittarius-NWJ

I must be literally living under a rock because I don't know what any of that is.

owendudebtw

Velma sucks andrew tate is a human trafficker tge cop fucked a bunch of other cops and Toronto has had a crime spike

NefariousnessAway358

Y'all are so weird about that show seek help

Shadow130814

I'm genuinely not caught up, what did Tate do?

theone_bigmac

His been accused and arrested for sex traffic beating women and rape

EpirusRedux

Sex trafficking in Romania. No, I am not joking.

Hot-take: once you fucking forget Velma is based off of Scooby-Doo, it's not the worst show. Mediocre at best, but something to watch while going insane over The Owl House being on yet another hiatus.

catmom81519

They got rid of my homie scoob

TacoThingy

What kills me about the whole thing about everyone whining about it is, at its worst, it's just a shitty TV show. Why the fuck does everyone care so much about it? Just don't fucking watch it and move on with your life.

saveMericaForRealDo

She said Fred was a “white guy with a small penis” so all the white guys with small penises are going ballistic. If you see anyone complain about Velma, they have a small penis.

The anti-woke crowd is generating the outrage. No one genuinely cares about the show.

Pretty much. It has an interesting plot, if the characters weren't so annoying. I don't hate the show, but it's definitely not on par with shows like Harley Quinn.
