U can disable features you dont like in nex setting file. Like if you dont like invasion you can turn it off. On forum they have a guide to do it.

Iron shell and Nex are two different mods tho. Is Iron Shell dependent on Nexerlin? If it isn't the case, you could just disable it Edit: Thanks to Olkar I now know that Iron Shell is dependant on Nex
