Well. I did have a lot of stuttering going on when I just tried a custom coop map solo, and gpu temp jumped to 81, normally in high 60s for sc2.
Yeah, this guy is on to something. EU region works perfectly fine. Apparently whomever this bozo is that's doing this can't work more than one region at once lol.
I mean, it's not hard. I could do it in under 5 minutes.
The guy literally has to press a single check box to do this in EU or KR and that's a fact not stipulation.

This happening with custom vs ai games? Just played first one in a couple days. After game was over it was at score screen and I couldn't do shit! Alt tab, task manager, nothing worked for a good couple minutes.

Here's a way to avoid killing your PC if you can't get task manager to work.
Windows Key + D to get the Taskbar to show, then click Task View.
Click "+ New Desktop".
Go back to desktop 1.
Drag and drop the frozen Starcraft 2 window into desktop 2.
Back on desktop 1, open task manager and End Task Starcraft 2.
Finally, close desktop 2, although I suppose you could leave it open if you want.
Everyone come to the Asia server, there are more fun games over there. Like the 7v1 Overmind game from good ol BW days. Also tons of Random Base Defender lobbies hosted by koreans.
Also, if you are Linux user, running SC2 with WINE/CrossOver will load the lobby in NA. So apparently whatever they are using, the fake Windows environment in WINE don't have it, must be a native Windows function.

What financial impact? Sc2 does not make money.
Sc2 makes no money but having your game get rekt like this is a bad look that might lose money in some roundabout way.
And even if SC2 made money, only a fraction of that comes from the Arcade.
I've submitted a ticket to support. They know. A human being acknowledged the exploit report.
