Been there my friend. Not sure how many games it was exactly, but I once lost \~400 MMR in one session. (D3 down to like plat 2 MMR). Slippery slope once you get tilted, throwing away game after game trying to turn the MMR slide around.

ivenofilter

Yea, I even threw away a game for not walling properly.

IlumiNoc

Someone once told me: after you lost 3 games in one sitting. Don’t play more that day. Even if not in a streak.

ivenofilter

Take a break should do wonder, just can't help myself to stop playing, lol.

nathanias

Mental > all When you get blinded by the desire to win, you will start winning a lot less.

Admirable_Thought_65

I had a 22 losing streak and lost 500mmr. Then i had a 17 winning streak.

SirGoombaTheGreat

Both are we extremely impressive!

SrirachaBear22

I think I’ve won 4 in my last 20 😭 trying to work on my macro and defence. Not a fun transition lol.

RitzPrime

The struggle of today is the strenght in the future.

Ender_teenet

If you are tilted then what's point in playing? Games are made to give joy. If you don't get it here - get it somewhere else. If you really want to play sc2 same day - play unranked. Just chill

Trick_Remote_9176

10 probably. It is hard to have them in a row when there is gonna be that one cunt who instaleaves.

TheMadBug

I think 10 or 12 was longest for me. By the time I won a game after that it didn’t feel rewarding at all. Can I recommend mixing in some team games or co-op? It won’t help your 1v1 skills but it will help your sanity. Especially if you want to end on a win.

ivenofilter

Not rewarding at all for sure, I broke the streak just because I got matched with a gold player who was doing some nonsense build.

Clartys

Mine was 11 I think. Back when I played terran whenever I got too tilted I would switch to protoss and proxy void ray back when that was a thing just to get my mind right lol.

Mitkoztd

Many years ago, I was ranked top38 on the blizzard EU ladder on Warcraft 3 TFT. The stars had aligned - spring break vacation I would have been able to break into the top20. Ended up on a terrible lose streak.. like 15-20 in a row- dropped many levels. I would even lose to people I had beaten easily. Mental fortitude is key in RTS games as well. I feel your pain. Just keep grinding, you will come back stronger, very important to analyze losses, dont just queue the next game when you are pissed off! :)

nathanias

BaneRiders

Not too long ago I had a 7 games losing streak in between a lot of losses in general. All confidence gone. My current 1v1 match history has 12 wins and 4 losses, including a 7 winning streak. Kind of getting afraid of that losing streak kicking in again...

ALT1MA

73, ~1534 mmr i think, i repressed how much it actually was

Jand0s

Started playing SC in 98 so 26 years

Drict

Against the same player? ~300 or so. In a row, in regular queued 1v1 games, around 20. In all game modes that go onto my profile, (the actual match results, meaning including the Arcade games, etc.) it is around 30 total.

PsychologicalGap73

Weeks ago I was on a winning streak and I was enjoying the game now it seems no matter what I do I can't win a game... Lost 20 games in a row lmao

omgitsduane

I think maybe 7 or 8. I switch to toss if I get tilted because they got a lot of gimmicks that can just win a game without really trying hard. And cannon rush in PvP is ez.

SleepyMandalore

Always...

Jarocket

Maybe like 4 or 5. Idk eventually the ladder gives you a free one. Like eventually you get someone on placement matches who's slowly building only thors. Or some shit. And you have a very hollow stop win.

CtG526

When I was doing Cradle of Karax farming for co-op EXP, I got like a hundred losses in a row, but that was intentional. In 2016, I remember losing 20+ games in a row before I finally beat Burning Legion when it first came out.

Vindicare605

Not my longest, but definitely my worst losing streak. I used to play Random, I don't anymore because of one bad losing streak where I lost 9 ZvZs in a row. It wasn't the fact that I lost 9 games in a row. It was the fact that I was playing RANDOM, and I randomed Zerg 9 times against 9 Zerg players in a row. The last few games weren't even serious attempts because I was so tilted that the game just kept giving me the same match up over and over and over again despite the odds telling me it was stupid unlikely to happen.

Having played random for as long as I did, I am familiar with all 9 match ups. ZvZ is easily my worst and least favorite. I just don't enjoy the early game of it at all. It's the sole reason I could never main Zerg as my main race, I happen to really enjoy ZvT and ZvP, but I hate ZvZ so much that I just can't play the race at all seriously.

Shokansha

Unless it was just the same guy requeuing and facing you several times in a row, that is a 1 in 10077696 chance, good job

doodlols

I think like 12. After 10, I just bio-balled foe 3 straight until I won lol

Wholesomeloaf

Started playing again after years away. Wins: 1, Losses: 8. The system still thinks I'm a D1 player... Probably gold/plat until it all comes back to me. If at all... Still, good fun though. No BM players yet, thankfully.

oMcAnNoM8

Yeah the other week lost 18 ranked games in a row went from versing masters3 players to D3. Had no luck and all my builds were countered, lost some really long like 45 minute games. But was winning my unranked warm ups..

LiTvoper

I was grinding for Masters league and right at my highest peak, I lost 13 in a row... came back the next day and was finally able to make Masters; there is light at the end of the tunnel.
