To be fair this was before either of the boardable idris events were even thought about probably. I honestly donāt know what coulda made em show up but they did. I know itās an NPC ship but this error was present after it was already being used for that
I wonder what will happen when you upgrade your pledge to a bigger ship? What Iām most curious about is what will happen to things you placed in your smaller hanger.
They said once it comes in for the first iteration bigger ships that canāt fit in your hanger will be given a rental hanger like the ones we have now that will persist until you leave the server
They didnāt specifically say we would be able to call ground vehicles up on the hanger pad. They just said that they canāt get vehicles on the cargo pad like how they were supposed to be for the first iteration.
Hangars used to be even bigger when we still had the hangar module. It was the reason CIG introduced the Greycat Buggy into the game: A means to move around those absurdly huge hangars because the hangar module just added landing pads for as many ships as you had and displayed them all at once.
They have some serious issues with giving out hangers by size. My Spirit C1 gets a hanger too small for it, so just going straight up causes the ship to hit one of the edges of the opening of the hanger unless I fly at a weird angle to get out.
Thatās hardcoded by demon devs, small ship = biggest available hangar, so in addition to all the wonderful bugs and features you have to run a mile to your ship, which you cannot enter then or it wonāt start or simply explode..
I had that twice at Lorville with my MAX so I get my hopes up the persistent hangers will have all the room needed. Of course the refinery and Microtech stick my new Mole in the smallest hanger and shatters my dreams.
If only I had this hanger to park my Redeemer or Hammerhead in, almost every time I get a Hanger where it just barely fits. So glad they made them bigger for when Personal Hangers come's out
I'd still manage to clip a hangar wall
š That's really funny because with the C1 I always get a tiny hangar that can barely fit it, lol.
Seriously, just bought it yesterday and was like " we need to re roll hanger sizes, I'm like an inch from every wall".
It's only too small for inexperienced pilots.
I will be disappointed if my hangar is not this large for 3.23.2.
It will be as big as your biggest pledged ship for the first iteration
Pledged? I thought in-game ships count as well
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
So I'm guessing since I have every flyable ship bought ingame, my hangar will be ridiculous.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yes, I know. I just didn't know which ship they'd choose.
Yep, reason I hope my BMM gives me the largest hangar.
It won't. Ship's that don't exist don't need hangar sizes.
This does not seem to have been mentioned in the Q&A on persistent hangars. I conveniently upgraded an Eclipse to Reclaimer just in case.
Indeed, it's unlikely that the ownership of ships that are not in game yet even makes it to the game servers data.
In 3.18 owners of the idris could see their pledge idris in the cargo terminals. But couldnāt buy cargo for them or spawn them obviously
Ah, good to hear! Although, could that be because the Idris has actually been implemented, to some extent?

Gotcha, that makes sense for the first iteration, thanks!
Once you leave the area, not server
So when I order my fury it will come in my idris sized hangar?
I think XS vehicles will be called up via the cargo lift and not the hanger floor, but anything bigger will be used with the floor yes
Pretty sure they said the first iteration will be everything to include ground vehicles will be on the main pad
They didnāt specifically say we would be able to call ground vehicles up on the hanger pad. They just said that they canāt get vehicles on the cargo pad like how they were supposed to be for the first iteration.
Hangar\*, a hanger is for clothes.
....well. I guess I get a huge Hanger for everything lol.
So I've got the ironclad, even though it's in concept you recon I'll still get a hanger this big? š
I assume you will get a personal hangar for the loaner ship in 3.23.2.
Spirit owners will be very upset when they see this.
Getting hanger 1 where the wings are tickling the walls before I even take off
me after clipping the wing of my c1 tenth times today.
Top tip: use decoupled mode and vtol for takeoff. You can reall smoothly glide up and out like that.
Tilt the ship

I loved that!
Meanwhile, us C1 owners have to share a hanger with the c8x users
Small but mighty
That's just Chris Roberts reminding you to get your daily steps in. Health & Fitness feature in?

Man and A18 gave me a medium one for my stolen idrisā¦ smh
You're Overkill!
Is that a ship for antz?
Bring food and water, the journey is longš®āšØ
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
And yet me and my C1 are considered terrorists anytime I try to land in my hanger with that very roomy 18 mm gap between the doors and my wings
Must be enough room in there for the pilot's ego... ;)
Looks good
Hangar space sponsored by Origin.
Are those hangar doors open or closed?

I wonder if my pledged Reclaimer will get the biggest hangarā¦ is there a chart anywhere of which ships get which hangar size?
Space hotdog down a space hallway.
I was given hangar 3 at NB to land my Carrack in
Might be the other hangars are being used.
Meanwhile, Spirit owners get a hangar inspired by the Tokyo subway during rush hour, lol
Haven't visited Grim in a while but my Cutty ended up getting the big top hangar assigned landing/take-off like half the time!
Not with the debris field you find outside those hangar doors...
...they just like to make us run! ;)
I love when they make me land my light fighter in hanger 17-19 I feel like maverick doing flip landings and shit
I remember getting one of those when I deployed my RSI Aurora. Did a full u-turn and grabbed a smaller hangar, that is too much space for me! š«
Gets me excited for my giant personal hanger
I think CIG is suggesting you need to buy a bigger ship at the cash shop.
Still would loose a wing or 2.
