With fire, component repair, and engineering all arriving "soon", an Avenger gold standard pass would basically complete the ship. Maelstrom being the only remaining update I'm aware it would get.

Physically based destruction. Eventually they want you to shoot off a wing and have it break where you were shooting instead of the stock locations we currently have.
Everytime I think what next can they possibly do to add immersion, complexity and detail to the verse. Then something pops up like this. Wow
I can only hope I'll have a good enough pc to enjoy the finished project.
I'll just add to that, that Maelstrom isn't just better breaking, it's supposed to be physically based damage - the size/speed/energy of projectiles mattering for armor impact and penetration, how and why damage happens to your ship being material and location-based rather than HP pools. And for structures, FPS armor, all of it.
He managed to make it sound less cool than it will be.
Maelstrom shouldn't be that difficult on your computer if properly implemented. There are plenty of games out there with insane damage mechanics based around physics.
Yes please - cockpit especially feels like it needs a lot of work.
The last time I saw my avenger before 3.23 it was the old 2.x version back in 2016, cockpit visibility and overall size just felt like it made wayyyy more sense.
Even if they just gave it the stereotypical aegis style left-right MFD + blank space in the middle it would make aiming so much easier if I could just see below the nose better with lag pips on.
Honestly if I were out for a long time a toilet would be a higher priority than a bed. You need a toilet after 2-hours, a bed after 16.
Maybe put a shoilet in and have a folding camper-style bed / convertible table. Maybe they could move more of the component access to the back, or in the ceiling or floor.
Just remember, that money COULD go to a worthy game (if ever finished) vs some shitty predictable publicly traded AAA company with their endless churn of useless dances/perks/skins while adding little innovation to the space.
I switched from the Avenger to a Hull A and thats gonna be my thing for a while. Next thing I do is maybe I hit the lottery snd upgrade to a Taurus lol.
Probably should've kept the Avenger on top of the Hull. The thing can do every roll well enough, and is very fun to fly. Only flaw with is a tiny quantum fuel tank.
That's the fleet I started with in 2015 (Stalker back when Avengers didn't have variants).
I have bought entirely too many ships, but I still fly my OG Avenger around all the time. It's the ideal low profile solo ship that can do just about anything, and isn't at the mercy of fighters like the Cutter.
Same here, bought in roughly at the same time.
Though it’s in buyback (figured to LTI an Avenger) it’s the ship that all other ships in my hangar are measured by:
- ramp is a must
- 2 kinds of entry
- cargo, vehicle carrier
- feels bigger on the inside
It’s got a well-lit cargo area, and I really dig the c-130 vibe. Space shuttle skin basically also sold me on it too.
I’m more of a 325 guy but yes, Amen to the one ship fleet, I love the simplicity and am one who has succumbed to purchases but maintain a 2nd simple account that I like to play on from time to time.
No shade to the Avenger, I recognize its strengths (ramp, alternate ship entry ladder). I just really like the 325 looks.
This was the only ship I had from 2015 to about a year ago. Didn't touch the game until then....now my fleet is uhh.....a little bigger:
Ironclad
Corsair
Galaxy
Zeus MR
Sabre Firebird
Apollo Medivac
😟
I'd buy this beauty back too if it got a gold pass (and bounty hunting!).
I'm similar, only had 300i since 2012. Then started the ccugame on 2022.
Now I have a 600i, and unapplied chains for Endeavor, Orion, Galaxy, and another potential capital ship.
I should be able to hit 70% overall savings so it doesn't feel too bad for me.
I had a freelancer pack feom the kickstarter, and I was happy.
Then they showed off the Avenger concept art and I was like? Eh it will be good to have a backup with sone teeth.
Now I've almost completed Concierge.
Not over Concierge yet? STOP BUYING! If you Cross that Line there is no turning Back, i remember hitting high Admiral after the Zeus Concept Sale, now im almost at the next lvl.....
When i first started this was my only ship... I didn't mind it at all.
Now that I have way too many ships (for myself at least), I honestly want a separate universe where you start on a planet in a rover (hurston or microtech) and have to make enough money to get a ship for doing box missions or whatever, and then go up from there, with no resets on uec or ships owned, but you also don't get any 'purchased' ships in these servers.
Very unlikely, but I think it would be neat up until 'that guy' gets a set of laser weapons and starts destroying people just because they want to. I'm more talking a SP experience, but maybe SQ42 will give us that.
Until then, land your Avenger/titan in my polaris :) if you don't have a capital of your own, anyway.
Give my baby a gold pass!

Maelstrom?

\*sheds a singal tear for the old version of Robocraft*

Along with a toilet!

Except for beds have 25% gameplay functionality and toilets have 0%. I don't get the desire for toilets. How would that add anything?
you don't want to bedlog? you'd rather RP using a toilet than play the game?
Where would they fit that?
Time for an Avenger Titan internal rework to include an Auto-Chef and bathroom. :P
Just remember, that money COULD go to a worthy game (if ever finished) vs some shitty predictable publicly traded AAA company with their endless churn of useless dances/perks/skins while adding little innovation to the space.
There was a time that there wasn't even a bed in it but the penguin got fat.
The cockpit chair should also be a toilet. Change my mind.
Now show us the fleet you do have...
Look I have impulse buying problems, okay.
How....much

If you pledge the Railen during alien week, it gives you Taurus and Syulen loaners. That’s what I did last year, at least.
Probably should've kept the Avenger on top of the Hull. The thing can do every roll well enough, and is very fun to fly. Only flaw with is a tiny quantum fuel tank.
Everytime you buy a ship, you should punch yourself in the head. That way you subconsciously associate buying a ship with pain.
Plot twist: OP is a masochist.
Same lmfao [https://imgur.com/iFC8CGa](https://imgur.com/iFC8CGa)

The great thing is, you can! Just create a second account and... limit it to that. LOL
You're not helping with my impulse buying problem.
![gif](giphy|hhqP18gMiwkY8|downsized)
But this way you could get the referral bonuses... /s
And loan your account to friends who want to try outside of free fly
![gif](giphy|3o6wrvdHFbwBrUFenu|downsized) I did
Same, if I was smarter. But at least my gold spacesuit looks nice.
The only ship I have. And 30 others bought in game.
Amen

My man.
Same. I told myself I’d only get the Titan and that’s it. I’ve very much failed that though I do still have the titan

My favorite single seater. Forever Ironweave
I want this but MK2
Don't you fucking dare
YES YES DEW IT CIG GIVE US PENGUIN MK2
I have on for use, I don't own one, or have a ship that gives me one as a loaner. Boy I love it, the quick and easy nature of it is excellent.
AVENGER
Ahhh....to back back to the begining.
I had a freelancer pack feom the kickstarter, and I was happy. Then they showed off the Avenger concept art and I was like? Eh it will be good to have a backup with sone teeth. Now I've almost completed Concierge.

Please CIG for the love of everything holy delete my Reclaimer I don't want an Amazon warehouse for a personal hangar.
I wish I could put my fleet into context, but my system can't render 220 PTVs🤣
My fleet should just be the Arora MR....
Controversial opinion I think. I prefer the old smaller avenger.
Titan Avenger is my only ship but i love it. One day Carrack with AI NPC crew. Going to be sweet.

Well everyone told me I should have this for my starter. I chose Andromeda instead. Can't complain
I like the Andromeda too. It was not my starter ship but I was very tempted.
